The quiet was one thing Olivia detested the most. It was quite useful for when you wanted to study, but mocked you when your mind goes completely blank searching for a thread of a thought. By now Olivia had figured that the empty desks would become packed quite soon with a rush of after-lunch O.W.L's cramming or for that matter N.E.W.T's that were looming close in the future. Between the pressures of homework essays, their professors chanting about the importance of O.W.L's and eternal glory in the Triwizard Tournament made Olivia want to dive into a loud crowded scene, of which she usually couldn't stand. There in the midst of a silent library, Olivia sat staring at her Herbology paper twiddling her quill between her fingers determining what the Bloody Hell Mimbulus mimbletonia was truly used for. "Why do plants have to be so bloody hard?"
On a lazy day such as that one, this particular Hufflepuff girl had much to do. Being the founder and only member of the Random Acts Of Kindness Club, she had to do most, if not all, of these acts by herself.
In fact, today she'd already shelved a pile of books for Madam Pince as well as given the old lady the rest of a bar of chocolate she'd bought at Honeydukes during the last Hogsmeade visit. The old lady had been rather short in her reply to the Hufflepuff, but there was a certain glint in her eyes that made Gracie sure that she had a secret passion for chocolate. Also, she'd stopped by a few of the tables to help some confused first years with their homework, not to mention slip small packets Ice Mice, which she'd bought with the chocolate at Honeydukes, into their bags when they weren't looking.
It wasn't long until Gracie spotted her friend Olivia at one of the tables in the corner. Trotting over, she grinned at the girl before greeting her in that lilting Scottish of hers. "Oliv'ya, m'love," she exclaimed, pulling out a chair next to her and plopping herself down, "Wha' a pleasuah t' see yeh."

"I believe the pleasure is all mine." With a small smile she dropped her quill tossing her parchment to the side where she'd attempt to tackle it later. "What shall we do today? Homework and studying have gotten me way too wound up, something fun I believe is in order.[/color]" Olivia packed her bag her attention still focused on Gracie's ecstatic expression.
Gracie grinned at her friend, the corners of her mouth pulling back to reveal a mouth full of large, straight white teeth. They were one of her crowning glories, as she tended to smile a lot. Okay, practically every moment of every day, but still. At her Ravenclaw friend's question, a spark of thought occurred in her mind, giving her a good idea that she couldn't help but execute. "'Ey, y'want t' 'elp me give these ou'?" she asked her friend, her warm brown eyes twinkling as opened the bookbag at her side to reveal a large horde of Honeydukes candy. "I bough' i' a' th' las' Hogsmeade visi' t' give ou' a-non-o-mous-ly." The last word was said with a bit of stumbling. There were still a few words that the girl had trouble with, simply because there just wasn't a way to pronounce them with a thick Scottish accent.

Returning her friend's smile she stood tossing the leather strap to her bag over head pulling her wand out. "Why don't we practice our simple charms as we pass it out. O.W.L's practice and Honeydukes candy, can there be a better combination?" Grabbing her books she proceeded to putting them in their proper places apon the bookshelves. Although her blue eyes were trained to watch for obstructions in her path, at times they failed. Times such as now when she caught a glimpse of a sickle hiding underneath a pile of books but failed to notice the ink bottle balancing on the top. Olivia, who was concerned that someone might have left their money behind swiftly pushed the books over allowing the ink to topple over. Ink, which now stained her red hair, dribbled down her cheek leaving a small puddle on the floor. "Gracie look, I found a sickle!" she exclaimed holding to out for her to see.
Gracie's grin widened at her friend's acceptance. She was glad someone at least cared about keeping the level of goodness in the world high. Usually, people told her they had better things to do. However, in her opinion, nothing was better than spreading happiness and injecting it into people's lives like a much needed vaccine. For it was the best medicine. Well, at least in Gracie's eyes. "An' jus' 'ow're we gonna do tha'?" she asked her friend, a right bit confused, as she'd never been the sharpest tack in the bunch. Comprehending things in short periods of time wasn't exactly her most honed skill, and she tended to get extremely confused easily. But when she saw the sickle, she instantly felt bad for whomever had left it there. "M'love, we mus' 'turn it t'it's righ'ful owneh."

"How will we know who's owner it is? And simple." Clearing her throat slightly she pointed her wand at herself, "Tergo" Ruffling her curls Olivia directed her wand toward Gracie's bag. "Wingardium Leviosa." Her wand allowed the candy to rise from her bag having it dance around in the air. "I know, a simple first year charm but, it'll be easier doing it like this." A smile grew on her face her blue eyes twinkling with amusement as she had the candy do cartwheels before placing in the bag once more. "We can also do summoning charms and silencing charms so they can't here us place it in their grasp."
Even after her friend's explanation, it took a moment or two for Gracie to fully understand the girl's words. Finally, she let out a slight 'ohhh' of understanding and the frown on her face, that she adopted only when confused or trying to figure something out, vanished. Instead, it was replaced with that famous, signature grin of hers as she nodded her head and pulled out her long thin wand, directing it at her bookbag, the only thing her parents had given her upon realizing she was a witch. It was old and beat-up, a bit tattered on the edges. In it's day, it'd been a fine-looking brown leather bag, but now it was cracking at the folds and tearing slightly at the seams.
"Wi'gard'um Lev'osa!" she exclaimed enthusiastically, pointing her wand at a piece of candy in the book bag. However, instead of rising up gracefully in the air as it was supposed to, the piece of candy let out a hissing sound before growing twice its original size and rocketing up to the ceiling, where it stuck. "Oh deah'."

"Hmm, I don't believe it's suppose to do that. With practice I think you'll get it." Grinning lopsided, Olivia cleaned herself up a bit ruffling her curls. "First lets help someone! Like them!" Pointing a stubby finger toward a first year with Ever-flavor beans in their hair from a few six years who happen to think it was funny watching a first year struggle. The students eyed up hufflepuff as if they were a piece of meat stalking them, wands at the ready. She bypassed the older students not up for a conflict, and headed toward the first year. "Not really sure which spell to use... eh! Gracie what might you use?"
