Lilah's heartbeat thudded against her chest, softly. She was laying down on the golden sofa, which she had sunken into. She was laying on her side, and her beautiful breath taking brown eyes focused on the bright and warm fire. Her hair looked very blonde in the fire's light, which pleased her. She was wearing a pearl colored mini dress, which she adored. Her father had given it to her, which was also why she adored it. Her shoes were sitting on the ground, and her toes wiggled with the joy of being free from the high heels. Lilah normally wore high heels considering she was rather short. She had on light make-up, seeing as though she didn't need any. She had on a light golden brown eyeshadow, which clashed with her eyes beautifully. She had on a little mascar, which made her eyelashes form perfectly around her almond shaped eyes.
Lilah's head snapped up as she heard footsteps enter the Common Room. "Logan?" Her voice floated through the air as Logan Kings came into view. The boy she had a crush on. He was so cute, and she wanted him badly. She never really talked to him though. She wanted to be friends with him shortly, and hopefully he would talk to her. Her heart thudded even heavier against her chest as she took him in. She waited for him to reply patiently.
Logan snickered to himself, his charm being aparently unaffective. It hadn't fooled the portrait, either, and the Ravenclaw made a quick mental note to ask Olivia to help him out with it. He raised a single eyebrow in an arch as he took in the pretty veela girl. It was so obvious, her heritage, it was amazing even one like Viktor Krum had managed to catch one for his own, both Logan was not a fickle man. He took these things seriously...most of the time. His first time inside another Common Room, he was disapointed to see that everything was just about the same, except for the colors. Lots of gold and yellows. And, of course, the company was different. But, he was here for tutoring, so he had to pay attention. "You look well, Miss Krum" He said, in that teacherly tone he always used with his tutor-ees Not, what am I here to help with? I don't believe I caught that little detail..."
A soft beautiful laugh escaped from Lilah's lips as she listened to Logan speak. "You don't look to shabby your self, Mr. King." She swung her legs over, and she was now sitting in a normal way. She patted the open space next to her, welcoming Logan to sit down next to her. "Well, to tel you the truth... I really don't need any help... I just wanted to meet you." Lilah gave a shy, and somehow ashamed look to Logan, fluttering her eyes softly. Her veela charm was working perfectly, as she could see the glint in Logan's eyes. She took every detail of the boy in, feeling overwhelmed by how cute he happened to be. She sighed, and then leaned back to rest on the couch again. Her eyes were still on Logan though. She didn't want to stop looking at him. She simply couldn't. She just waited for Logan's response, hoping and praying that it would not be bad. She didn't want him to leave.
The other eyebrow went up, and Logan gave a tiny smile. It secretly pleased him that she had wanted to meet him. He was getting more and more popular these days. His smile got wider as he remembered the days of his youth, pestering his friends until they harassed the girl he had a crush on that week. It was strange how the tides had so abruptly changed. Despite he knew of the magical qualities of the Veela Charm, Logan couldn't help but look her over. Lilah Krum was definetly a sight. A Quidditch Player, too, which placed her higher on his list. Ya know, if he had one. The Hufflepuff seemed to be just as stunned as he, and kept her eyes on him, even as he moved around her, and sat on the plush sofa. "Well, well, well" He said, almost silently to himself. This was a chnage of events. "So you wanted to meet me? You coulda just said hi, ya know. Though I do appreciate your little tutoring tactic." He propped his feet up on the table infront of them, almost like he belonged here. And he had been surprised he hadn't been placed here, when that hat had sat so proudly on his head. "To tell you the truth, I wasn't much in the mood for tutoring, anyway"
A soft laugh came out of Lilah's mouth as Logan's words registered in her mind. "Yes, Logan. I wanted to meet you. Oh, and me either... I hate studying." Lilah's voice was soft, and it hung in the air. Her voice was soft, majestic, and very romantic. It was the charm of a veela of course... one of the best veela's too. I guess having a full blooded veela as a mother really worked out. Lilah sighed, and then her eyes locked with Logan's, her expression turning very serious. "By the way... I'm not one of those stalker girls. But, I do want to try something if that's okay with you..." Her voice trailed off for a second, but then suddenly her voice floated through the air once more. "You know how they say that when you kiss the one you're meant to be with, that you can tell? Like, you can actually tell that the person you just kissed is destined to be with you? Well, that's what I want to see. If the guy that I am chasing, which is you of course, is the right guy for me. I need to know if you're the right guy for me Logan..." Her voice trailed off for the last time, as her eyes stared into his with a look of agony. They pleaded for him to kiss her, and once again her veela charm took over. She slightly cocked her head to the side, and waited patiently.
It was barely six o'clock, but Logan could already tell it was gonna be a very strange night. Him, in the wrong Common Room, with a very pretty girl, who was also in a very pretty gold dress. It really didn't help that she was half-veela. The strongest he had ever delt with was the eighths Nikita, Dominque, and Victoire. Lilah looked concerned, like something was bothering her. He looked around the room, a little embarassed at the Stalker Comment. She had really hit it home. He was sick and tired with his followers. Then, Lilah decided she wanted to try something. Her voice hit a rather romantic, pleading chord, making Logan returned his eyes towards hers. Their gazes locked, and he was suddenly aware at how close the two of them had been sitting. This was not how he ordinarily did things, but her logic, and how beautiful she truly was continued to sway him. Or maybe it was her magic. Her head was tilted, and Logan lost the ability to speak. He merely nodded, confused, but willing, and his mind went completely blank.
Lilah's dark brown eyes, which clashed magnificently with her long golden hair, traced every inch of Logan. She was entirely focused on every moved he made, hoping that it wasn't a move of regret, or guilt. She couldn't find either so she moved her eyes back to his gaze. Their eyes locked again, to Lilah's delight, and she moved her body closer to him. Their bodies were now touching, but their faces weren't as close. Her hand moved gracefully to his leg, and her pointer finger began tracing his side, until she finally reached his face. She then let her hand drop back to her lap, as she continued her unbearable Veela charm on the boy sitting beside her. A smile spread across her face as she continued to look at him. He seemed straight as a board, and she was ready to loosen him up. She placed her hand against his cheek once more, and pulled him downward so softly it would feel as if he wasn't even moving. She pushed herself up to his height, and finally she felt their lips touch.
Logan stiffened as he felt her finger running up his side. He wasn't sure what he had done, and confused flooded into his mind. If his team could see him now. Blood flushed into his cheels, making his face feel hot. And, she hadn't even kissed him yet. Lilah smiled, and moved closer, as if he had thought that was possible, but yet her head was held awkwardly away. She moved closer. And this time, their lips met. It felt like an electric shock ran through his body, so he kissed back, loosening up form his board-like stance. She was a lot taller than most of his lady friends, and so this was not as difficult as he assumed it would be. It helped she was trying to be taller. He suddenly remembered that Lilah was a captain. The enemy. He pulled back, and knew his team would be very disapproving. He was fratinizing with the enemy for crying out loud! He was kissing the enemy. He could practically feel the anger that they would emmit if they ever heard about this. He'd be kicked off the team for sure. But, somehow, a majority of his mind couldn't give a damn, and he returned the veela's smile.
Lilah could basically feel the shock go through Logan, and it seemed as if it passed onto her. This made her laugh, mid-kiss. Suddenly, she felt Logan pull away, leaving Lilah there, almost pathetically. "Logan? Is something wrong? What'd I do?" Lilah's voice almost cracked, but she caught it quickly. She felt empty now, a feeling she rarely had. It must have been because Logan had pulled back, or wasn't kissing her anymore. Her expression was confused, as she continued to look at Logan. Her head cocked to the side, in a Veela charmed way, and her eyes sparkled with curiosity. Clearly she hadn't thought the same thing he did. She had a feeling that it would backfire, but she wasn't sure she really cared. She wanted to be with Logan. She wanted to be his girl, the one he loved. The one he was IN love with. She didn't feel like he was in love with her yet though. I mean they had only just met. She also wasn't sure she was in love with him either. But, that kiss that they had recently shared, seemed as if it would change her life.
Logan looked at the poor, almost depressed sixth year, and he couldn't help it. He bust out laughing. His chortles filled the air, and he leaned back. He continued to laugh until his sides hurt and he couldn't laugh anymore. Yet, he continued. He laughed until their was a hitch in his breathing, and that he was forced to breath. He sputtered for air, as he forced himself to control his laughter. He must have sounded so incredibly cruel to Lilah, but he was laughing more at himself than her. After a moment, he grinned, and looked her in the eye, to show that he had not been making fun of her. "Please don't think I'm laughing at you. I'm not, I swear. This has just been a little odd, ya know. Plus, can't you just imagine how our teams would see this? Fratnizing with the enemy, though I'm sure Craig at least could understand. I'm sorry, but a funny thought crossed my mind. Getting kicked off my team for kissing the Hufflepuff's team's captain. No, you didn't do anything wrong." He chuckled, but this time, he was making sure he wouldn't let go again. He didn't want to scare Miss Krum.
Lilah's eyebrows furrowed, as she watched Logan laugh. She had expected it to stop sooner, but it just continued, and continued. She began to let her eyes wander as she waited for Logan to control himself. She felt a laugh begin to crawl up her throat, beating against her lungs to get out. She wouldn't let herself breath, and let out the laugh though. She would wait. Luckily Logan stopped suddenly to where she could let her laugh out, and lock her eyes with his once more. She listened softly to him, letting her expression out. She had on a soft smile, and her eyes were warm, and relaxed. She also had on her beautiful, breath taking smile. Her eyes then suddenly fell, letting there warmth go. "So, what does that mean? What are you saying... I mean yeah, I can see how that would effect our teams, but still. You really care that much about what they think?" Lilah's voice was almost to the tone of hurt, and depressed, but not quite yet. It still had the Veela charm mixed in it. She turned her eyes back to his, and let her smile drop also.
Girls were always so worriesome. One day, Logan hoped against hope that he would meet a girl who never worried, but there was a fat chance of that happening. Women enjoyed to worry, it seemed. They were always nervous about something. Their hair, their clothes, their butt, or, in this case, what was on Logan's mind. He shrugged, with a smile. "Nah, they can keep their thoughts to themselves. I'd like to see a few of them freak out about this, especially Lysander or Craig. Lysander is a DE for Christ's Sake, and Craig. I don't even wanna know what goes through his mind half the time." He nodded, and raised an eyebrow, trying to get her to smile again. "Chills, Lilah. You don't need to worry. I've never really cared what others thought about me"[/center[
