James scowled at lily breaking off the kiss prematurely. He stood up, his temper really threatening to boil over "I don't care if you insult me but don't you dare insult my girlfriend. How dare you call her a bitch! I didn't say stuff like that to Zane about him." she had crossed the line there.
Lilah's mouth dropped open as she listened to what Lily had to say. 'Bitch? Me? Oh, HALE no.' Lilah jumped up from the from the ground walking up to Lily. "What the hell is your problem? I'm no bitch, unlike you!" Lilah said, pushing Lily back a few feet. She was freaking pissed off now, and her warm chocolate brown eyes looked no longer loving. Lilah wanted to look back at James, but she didn't want to turn her back on the now furious Lily. This was gonna turn bad, she knew that for a fact, as she waited for something to happen.
Lily smirked. "Now, now, dear brother. When did Iinsult your girlfriend? Did I call her a bitch? No, I said all of your girlfriends have been bitches. Now if I had said. that she was one, you could have the right to be mad at me." she said, loving the way she tisted her words. Payback is sweet. She watched as Lilah pushed her, still wearing a sickenly sweet grin. "Ah. I'm a bitch? That is ever so good to know. By the way, I never called you that. I reffered to Jamie's previous girlfriends. Hence the reason I said, 'All of the girlfriends you've had have been bitches.' Is that reason to push me? James, your girlfriend just called me a bitch. You see anything wrong with that?" she said, looking over at her brother.
Lilah laughed at Lily's words. "Oh you know you meant that I was a bitch too. You also said, and I quote, 'veela ass of a girlfriend.' I find that as an insult, so that gives me a free pass to call you something. I chose to call you a bitch. We're even now." Lilah said, as she flipped her blond hair back, and walked away from Lily. She stood next to James now, with a smile on her flawless face. Lily had utterly pissed her off, and she could already tell it wasn't going to go in a good direction between them.

Excuse me for commenting on the fact that your veela." she said, the smirk that was too sweet for the moment they were in still plastered lightly on her lips. "Well, If your calling me a bitch, then I think..... Nope. I'll be the better person and walk away. Because some people are just good and others are plat out prissy little brats who have nothing better to do than pick on smaller girls." she said, pulling out her wand again. "Accio broom." she said, her fireblot flying quickly to her hand. "Oh, now I see where this is going." she said, swining a leg over her broom and kicking off the ground. "Bye bitch." she said, shooting her brother a look. Yet, even though she was about fifty feet from the ground, she sat there wishing her brother could see past the girl's pretty face and see the true bitch she was.

Zoey Abercrombie slipped out of the Hufflepuff Common Room into the corridor. A smell of freshly baked bread from the kitchen, provided temptation for the Hufflpuff, but not tonight. Dressed in a pale pink hoody and pale yellow shorts, she was dressed for Quidditch. Although you might have already gathered that from the Firebolt resting on her left shoulder. Smiling to herself as she thought of the other 6th Year Hufflepuffs who would be fast asleep. However, one bed had been empty when Zoey had woken. Lilah's. She must be practicing Quidditch, where else could she be at this time? And so the Hufflepuff Chaser had decided to make the effort to go and join her Captain for some late night training. She hummed a little tune to herself as she reached the entrance hall, carefully slipping out of the side door. That was another good thing about being a prefect, the teachers were a lot more lenient if you were caught out of bed after hours, just make up something about an extra duty, and you'd be fine. Well, except if they caught you at three o'clock in the morning...
As she entered the gates to the Quidditch Pitch, she heard voices coming from the field. Making sure she kept to the shadows, Zoey inched forward, wanting to find out who it was before she made her presence known. Yes that's definitely Lilah's voice but that sounds like Lily Potter. What's she doing down here? Zoey rounded the corner and stopped in her tracks. Yes Lilah and Lily were both there, but so was another person, who she guessed had been the protagonist in the brewing duel between the girls. James Sirius Potter. Lilah and James? Together?!?! Oh no, I might have to side with Lily on this one. No way is Mr Potter making a fool out of me. She stomped towards the little group, pulling her wand out of her pocket as she neared them. "Hey Lilah, I came down to join you for Quidditch, but it seems you're rather preoccupied," she looked from Lily to James and then back to Lilah.

James scowled as his sister flew off after calling Lilah a bitch again. He looked down feeling really ashamed of her and himself. He looked at Lilah and said "I am really sorry about that." He then saw another figure walk onto the pitch and saw Zoey. He frowned. Just when he thought that he couldn't fall any further tonight. He looked from Lilah to Zoey and scowled not knowing what to do. He noticed that Zoey's wand was out and pointing towards him and scowled. He didn't want to get into a fight with anyone tonight.
Lilah rolled her eyes indignantly as she watched Lily zoom away from the group. She then looked up as she heard the small voice of Zoey. "Oh hey, Zoey! I bet we can still practice if you want. I don't mind at all... do you, James?" Her voice was even and precise as she turned to look at James with her last question. A sigh escaped her lips, as she mouthed the words back to James, 'It's fine...' Lilah was absolutely positive that he could read lips, as she gave him a half hearted smile. She looked back at Zoey, not taking any apprehension of her raised wand. She knew that Zoey wouldn't dare curse Lilah, nor her new boyfriend. She knew that would get Zoey kicked off the team immediately. Lilah puts up with no shit, and one of her teammates was no acception to that little rule of hers.

James looked from Lilah to Zoey wondering what to do. When he heard Lilah invite her to practice he frowned slightly wondering whether it would be awkward between them all. He shrugged "Yeah join us." he said and got out his wand and summoned his broom. He smiled as he caught Lilah's response and looked back at Zoey who still had her wand out. Lilah didn't seem phased by the wand, but he supposed it was because if Zoey tried anything she would be thrown off the team. He was still apprehensive as they used to like each other.
Lilah looked from James back to Zoey, repeating this process several times. She could tell from the way they glanced at each other but then quickly looked away, that something was going on, or had been going on. She was going to find out soon what it was. She eyed both of them curiously, not paying attention to the wand in Zoey's hand. Lilah's dark chocolate brown eyes looked playful, as she watched the two beside her. She summoned her broom, after James had, swinging her leg over it quickly. She sighed pushing off of the ground hard, and quick. She was immediately swishing through the air, waiting for a couple of people to join her.

James looked worried when Lilah kicked off and soared up. He hurredly swung his leg over the broom and kicked off hard eager to join Lilah rather than stay on the ground where the frosty atmosphere was too much for him. He smiled as he felt the wind in his hair and heard the familiar flapping of his robes and felt at home.
