Corliss pulled away from Lou's warm embrace, wiping the salty tears from her face. She sighed, wondering why in the hell she had just done that. SHe gave Tucker a sharp look. "Now, lets get this straight. I never hugged you, I never said I was sorry, and you were terrified that I was going to kill you. Got it?" she said, hard voice hard but oddly soft as she spoke to the couple. She took another deep breath before wiping off her pants and shirt. "Well, I have an important meeting with Noah, so I must be off. remember what I told you, or you'll be sorry." she whispered, turning on her heel and heading towards Hogsmeade. "Talk to ya later, Tuk!" she called over her shoulder, smiling as she thought of Noah, little did she know, the rest of her day wouldn't be going well.

<sub>Lou gave Corliss a small smile. "Got it," she answered. There was one downside to the nice factor that Lou'd had over all those years. Well, there were a lot, but the main one was the fact that she was a push-over. She went along with the flow, because she was too afraid of hurting people or herself to be defiant and go against it. It was what made her such an easy target for teasing or bullying. She wouldn't fight back.

When Corliss had gone, Lou turned to Tuck, her eyebrows raised, still shivering a bit, although the cool night air had partially dried her off. Her feet were still bare, and she could hardly feel them anymore, as they'd gone numb quite a while ago. "Does she normally act like that?" Lou asked, a confused look on her face, although it eventually faded into a smile. She didn't give a shit that Corliss had just tried to drown her. No, that was just the way Lou was. Forgive and forget. Move on with life.</sub>
