A silly giggle echoed down a short corridoor as a slightly tipsy Lily Potter rounded the corner. With her well known "Whiskey Bag" on her back, you would be stupid to guess that she hadn't been drinking. Of course, she would never have too much to drink at one time, unless she was in the safety of the Gryffindor Common Room, but she did drink every now and then on the grounds of Hogwarts. It wasn't too often that she stumbled through the wooden doors after hours, a bit out of it from the whiskey. Tonight wasn't nothing different, save that she was smart enough to have the family map clutched in her hand. Looking down at it, she noted the little banner read "Theodore Lupin". Smiling as she relised she wasn't too far away from Classroom 11, where the little Teddy banner was, she began to stumble towards the door.
After many long minutes, Lily found herself outside the door of qestion, a lopsidded grin set on her lips. Shaking her head as if to rid herself of her foggy brain, she rested her hand on the cold bras knob, turning it slowly. She opened the door, careful not to startle her best buddy. When the door was all the way open, Teddy in view, Lily staggered forward, her arms extended as if waiting for a hug. "Why hello there." she said, her words coming slowly. She sat down at a desk next to Ted, removing her bag and grabbing a half full bottle. SHe thrust it at her friend, pushing an unruly hair from her cheek. "Drink up, deary. You looks depressed." she chimed, her mind a million miles away. Something was off about her normally happy-go-lucky friend. What it was, she knew no.
Suddenly, images of Rosie filled her mind. Was that the problem? Had the gotten into another fight? Teddy was sad because Rosie was mad at him. That was sweet of him. Very sweet indeed. Lily smiled, wishing for someone like Teddy, who was sweet, kind, and very cute which she had just noticed, to come and sweep her off her feet. Where she would normally be thunking about Zane, whom she was growing fonder and fonder of every waking moment, her thoughts were filled with Teddy, her "older brother". But those terms were long gone from her bewildered mind. She smiled. "Is it Rosie? Is thats whats wrongs with you?" she slurred.
