Tess sat in the common room on the most uncomfortable couch she had ever had the misfortune to sit on. She shifted her weight from left to right but no improvement. She stood up then sat back down, it became worse. What the hell is this couch made out of? Bricks? She thought angrily as she jumped up and down on the couch, it only gave her a sore bum. She picked up a cushion and sat on that; it somehow didn’t feel right. Tess had never really liked this couch but it was the challenge it represented; she would defeat it. After a dozen more tries to increase the couch’s comfort level she felt herself getting angry she picked up her Muggle studies book and threw it forcefully at the wall ripping it in half.
The book hit the wall with a dull thud and she sighed and walked over to it; with a flick of her wand it was repaired. She let out a shriek of frustration and she sat on the floor staring at her Muggle studies book, if it was possible she would have burnt a hole in it already. She picked it up and sat it down in her lap and flicked through the pages trying to gain some knowledge from its worthless pages. What a ridiculous subject she thought getting more and more frustrated. Tess knew that each subject had it's worth, as did Muggle studies, but her lack of capability in the subject made her only hate the it.
Tess stood up and brushed any dust from off the front of her blouse, she stormed out of the common room slamming the portrait door behind her. She thundered through the castle the image of Brendon murdering Ablus playing in her head, she knew he was going to get revenge, but she didn't know she would have to watch it, or that it would even break her heart as much as it did. A tear trickled down her face, as her heart snapped once more. I just still don't see how he could do that... especially when he knew what had happened to me! She slammed her thoughts shut, knowing the more she thought, the worse it would become.
The Slytherin girl found herself standing outside classroom eleven; she shrugged her shoulders and entered. She perched herself on the edge of the desk her long blond hair covering most of her face as she pulled out the book and started to read it despite her lack of enthusiasm. She was wearing her silver blouse that dipped low, showing off nice cleavage, and black jeans; she cared a lot about her appearance. Tess flicked her wand and played one of her favorite Muggle bands The Red Hot Chili Peppers on her record player, she tapped her foot to the beat of the music as she read.
