The short little Gryffindor girl sat nervously by one of her best friend's beds, watching the rise and fall of his chest as he dreamed away. She'd been sitting there while he slept, observing his black eye and bruised face, her hands wringing with anxiety as she tried desperately to control her temper.
Normally, Rosie Weasley wasn't an angry person. However, when someone she loved did something stupid and hurt themselves or they got hurt by someone else, her usually absent temper flared up and created a beast of a girl who could be, at times, rather scary. Naturally, for those not getting yelled at, the sight of the short girl inflicting her wrath on the person she was mad at was quite hilarious. For the thing about Rosie was that she only got angry with one person. And that was whomever had done the hurting.
This time, it was her ex-boyfriend, Ted Lupin. That particular boy had beat up Zane Lestrange that day in one of the corridors, after a rather large shouting match. Rosie'd heard about it a few minutes after the incident occurred, and had rushed up to the Gryffindor Boy's Dormitory, where some boys had brought Zane soon after he got beat up, as he'd been knocked unconscious by the temper-ridden Lupin.
Rosie could hardly contain her anger, although she'd hidden it while she shooed all the wide-eyed Gryffindors from the room and tended to Zane's wounds with flicks of her wand, muttered spells, and hot packs she'd sent children to steal from the Hospital Wing. She might have been mad at Ted, but she knew that he couldn't afford to get in trouble with the Headmaster at the moment, so she made everyone promise not to tell the teachers about the incident. After all, she still loved Teddy dearly, even as she tried her best to forget about him.
In that moment, her anger got the better of her and a livid Rosie Weasley stood and hurried down the steps of the Boy's Dormitory, looking for one particular boy whom she could yell at.
