Miles nodded at Charlotte's anticipation for him to join in on what they planned to pull next. Secretive things he could help with, but nothing too out in the open. Not like most of them would want to draw attention to themselves in front of the teachers because as many professors on their side would be brilliant. But of course, they took what they could get. And besides random spurt attacks were great to thrust upon the NO in all their fullfillment and... dignity.

It was in the middle of this distracting thought that the Weasley decided that she was going to chew one of her brothers' 'creative' candies. The upchuck landed all over Kianthra. Of course, what was to be expected, the Weasley stormed out of the room. Oooh, how very effective. Miles rolled his eyes in disgust. He knew this was about to get messy really soon.

On the other hand, while he didn't know quite about Kianthra's note yet he was already aware that Duros was losing patience. Apparently he didn't really like how the DE were handling things. He didn't seem to have much respect for them either. Well, the limited NO members were dropping like maggots now, one having left and the other sitting on the Slytherin side of the room. That didn't mean that pushing Duros was a good choice either. Whether Duros was aware of it or not this wasn't just a class. This was a war behind his back. For those Slytherins who weren't in the DE or for those Gryffindors who weren't in the NO this was their chance to show more House pride than ever so basically it still was a raging war with Duros, the oblivious professor, right in the middle of it.

"I'm sure you don't actually believe Kianthra won't try her hardest to get Rosie." Charlotte was smirking, "And you know we'll help with whatever she asks." She looked over at Kianthra and the two empty seats, Zane no longer had his friends for help. He was so very much alone now, near the worst Slytherins he could have gotten stuck by.

She noticed something fly over to the table from the corner of her eye. She watched Zane picking it up, she then saw him reading something, she peered over his should and could pick out Kia's writting anywhere. She saw hers, Scorpous and Miles' names on it. She ripped the note from his hands giving him a scowl, "Try reading one of our note again and I'll make sure you won't be able to read anything for a week."

She skimmed over the note and smiled at the shared thought between the two of them about Zane's friendless state in the class. She passed the note to Scorpious and Miles for them to read as well. Kianthra should have no worries about their willingness to help her, they just needed to think of a plan for Zane first now.

She turned back to Duros and watched him for a second, He doesn't realize the trouble he's in now. When this class is over.. Charlotte was going to teach him exactlly who was incharge of his classroom. He was only here to teach those insulent, brainless dolts something about the art of potions. That was it. He was not going to think he can just snub them without consequenses, they were the leaders here, he was simply their pawn. It time the pawns learned their real places.

She quickly wrote down a reply to Kianthra.

Kianthra,

Of course you know our willingness to help. We have plenty of time to figure out our plans with Weasley later. Now, we only have an hour for your brother. Time to put out heads together....
I will sort things out with Duros after class.

Kianthra stared at the blackboard at the front of the classroom where a piece of chalk was writing instructions on the board, great more pages to read and notes to make. Yes, Kianthra was talented at Potions and almost any subject except Defence Against the Dark Arts, but that didn't make her want to concentrate more. After all, she only used these lessons for a good chat, whilst maintaining her grades, the best of both worlds. Until now. Stupid Duros, who did he think he was strutting round like he owned the place? He definitely needed reminding of who was in charge. At least the other teachers knew their rightful place and learnt to respect the DE, well after they were subdued by the Imperius Curse.

The seconds that ticked by seemed to last an age, each one stretching on for longer than the previous one. Tick, tock, tick, tock. Time goes by, so slowly. She looked across to Charlotte, who was currently writing a reply to her note. As the note floated across into Kianthra's outstretched hand, she took a quick look at Duros. It seemed as though the grey swirling eyes were returning to their rightful colour of beetle black. Quill in hand, Kianthra penned her response before sending the note back.

You are right once again. Only an hour for my brother? So much to do, so little time. I've just noticed Duros' eyes appear to be returning to their normal colour. He appears to be fighting the curse, maybe a double dose would suffice?

Charlotte tapped her fingers against the desk as she waited for the return note. She gave Zane continuous smirks, hopefully, to annoy him further. She sighed as Duros assigned them more pages to read and skimmed over the few pages. Her quill picked itself and began writing down the notes as she mumbled them quietly. She could feel Duros' glaring gaze on her and she looked up with a look of defiance. Just let him try and take point from her. There was nothing he could do to stop her from using her quick-quotes quill, no matter if they 'weren't allowed.'

She turned from him as the note flew back over to her, and she read it smirking before concern littered her face. She looked up to Duros and sure enough she could see his perfect, normal, black eyes. This just simply won't do at all. As her illegal quill still jotted down the notes she picked up her other quill to write another reply.

I see what you mean..I will need to keep anyone away from the classroom after everyone leaves. You know what to do. We wouldn't want someone to investigate any screaming, so I think a simple silencing spell should be just what we need. Now for little Zaney I suggest something new, maybe something to wipe the self righteous grin right off his mug.

She sighed content as she one again tossed Kia the note right under the Professor's nose. She was glad Kia was able to help with the motto, it really was perfect.

Kianthra unfurled the note and read it through carefully. Something new, that sounded good. She looked up at Duros once more before writing her response.

Lottie,

Of course, we wouldn't want that. Something new? I'm listening.

Yes it was short, but it conveyed what she had wanted to say. When Duros was preoccupied with the book he was reading, she sent the note back to Charlotte. She returned to the notes, quickly finishing them within a few minutes, mainly due to the fact that all she had to do was write the date on the top of the parchment. Duros had already told her what would be covered in the next few lessons, so all Kia had had to do was to take the time to write the notes. Well, she hadn't written them herself, she'd got a sixth year to write them for her. After all, she didn't have the time to write pointless notes when she could be training with the DE.
