Before Brendon ordered her not to look at James, she sent him a look, her eyes flashing a soft silver. HELP ME! her mind screamed as she looked away, listening to Brendon's command. She begged herself to throw off the curse, wanting to be out of this terrible situation. She felt tears well up inside her as she heard Brendon's lies. James won't believe him! He won't! she thought as she watched Brendon. Her body burned everywhere, Brendon's touch leaving her feeling dirty and gross. She wished James would understand her problem as she looked at Brendon, wishing for death.

James saw the silver in her eyes and groaned. He listened to what Brendon said smirking "BULL SHIT!" he shouted. He pointed his wand at Brendon's chest "YOU'VE GOT HER IMPERIUSD I CAN SEE THE SILVER IN HER EYES! LET HER GO!" he shouted. He saw tears go into Lily's eyes and frowned. He felt the fury inside him burst and he raised his wand and said "crucio!" and pointed his wand at Brendon. He wanted to cause Brendon the unbearable pain that he had been feeling since Albus' death and the pain at all the times where Brendon attempted to kill Lily. He also wanted to break his concentration and break the connection between Brendon and Lily. "YOU'VE CROSSED THE LINE KEATON!" he said through gritted teeth and wished that Zane and Teddy were here. He didn't know whether he could stop himself from tearing Keaton to shreds.

Brendon scowled as he saw Lily and James stare at each other before his order cut through. He glared at James and narrowed his eyes "Fine I have her imperiused, but one curse and I can kill her. Remember that." He was going to continue but he then got hit by the cruciatus curse and fell to the floor writhing in pain trying not to scream. He tried to shake it off, but James was a strong spellcaster and the curse was strong. After a while he threw it off and stood up and walked over to Lily and aimed his wand at her face and glared at James "You curse me I curse her." he threatened "If anyone curses me she's dead. You wouldn't want to live with that guilt Potter, that you caused your sister's death. You're parents would never forgive you and you wouldn't be able to forgive yourself."
Lily sighed in relief when she heard James's words. Her heart seemed to glue itself together again with this newfound confidence. Before she knew what was going on, her mind was hers again. She willed herself to stand as she watched Brendon wither on the ground. She looked at James, spitting on the floor. She wiped her mouth on the sleeve of her shirt as she felt tears streak down her cheeks. She was about to moved toward James when she saw Brendon's wand pointed at her forehead. The tears fell freely now, her breath coming in short gasps. "Don't do anything James, don't let him get to you." she warned, reaching into her pocket. She felt the cold coin in her pocket along with her wand. She maneuvered the wand and had it touch the coin. Perfect. She scowled up at Brendon. "Why don't you go ahead and kill me too." she hissed under her breath, wanting the misery to end.
Ted was in the middle of getting some parachement for himself, actually waiting in line to buy it, when he felt th NO coin burn in his back pocket. His heart leapt as he shuffled to get it out and he nearly freaked when he found Lily's face on the coin. He dropped the parachement and looked for Zane, but couldn't find him. No time, he thought as he raced out of the store. Ted pulled his wand out of his pocket and he pulled his coat close, running as fast as he could to the Shrieking Shack. He begged to Merlin that James hadn't done anything stupid and that Lily was alright. As he approached he heard James's voice shouting at someone and as he got closer he could tell it was Keaton. He hand clenched against his wand as he raced for the old door, running into the house his father had destroyed years ago before he found the three of them. "James." he breathed, pointing his wand at Keaton. "Keaton, get the bloody hell away from my family and out of my Daddy's house." Ted said, stepping slowly to James's side.

Blue or Black or Purple? Lists of colours ran through Zane's mind as he stared at the multitude of ink, all stacked into a pyramid. He settled on the bottle labelled Sapphire, before removing it carefully from the display and taking it to the till. After recieving one sickle four knuts change, he turned to look for Teddy. No where to be seen. Oh well, he'll catch up later. I've just got time to go to the Quidditch Supplies Shop before meeting up with everyone. He left the shop and crossed the street to his favourite shop in Hogsmeade. As he reached the window, the fake galleon glowed red hot in his pocket. Without hesitation, he drew the coin out and looked at it, seeing Lily's face appear on the coin. Oh no. And he started running, which was a common occurance whenever Lily's face appeared on the coin, which seemed to be happening a lot more frequently than he would like. Up the steps into the shireking shack, up the stairs, he could hear voices now, Ted and James and oh no... He sped up and there they were: Ted, James, Lily and Keaton...

James' eyes were wide with worry. He didn't know what to do. He stared at Keaton craving cursing him into oblivion, but he knew that if he did that then he would kill his sister. He looked from Lily to Brendon unsure about what to do. He heard Lily and frowned as he saw her tears. He shook his head and looked away from Lily as he heard someone come up the stairs and prayed it was Teddy or Zane. He couldn't help but smile as he saw Teddy and looked back at Brendon watching him. He turned round again and saw Zane run up the stairs. He then deduced that she must have pressed her coin. He saw Teddy stand beside him, his wand also on Keaton and smiled.

Brendon heard what Lily said and smirked "But I know he won't attack. He's to noble to risk it." he said tauntingly at James. However, he felt Lily move and saw her touch her coin with her wand and scowled. He grabbed the coin and threw it out the window "HOW DARE YOU!" he shouted at her. He pressed his wand deeper into her throat. He looked round as the warewolf ran in and threatened him, "You're family? You don't have a family Lupin." he said glaring at him "Aww ickle Teddy wants to keep this hell hole as his house. How sweet." he taunted glaring at him. He heard more footsteps and saw Zane enter the room and smirked "Glad you could join us Lastrange, I now understand why this bitch is your girlfriend. She's a good kisser isn't she?" he taunted locking eyes with Zane.

Zane quickly scanned the situation making sure not to miss any details. Keaton had his wand at Lily's throat. James and Teddy were standing just a few feet away, both their wands pointed at Keaton. Zane stepped forward to stand next to James and Teddy. "Just ignore him Ted," he said quietly before turning his full attention to Keaton. His eyes caught Lily's and immeadiately he spotted the silver spirals lingering at the edges. "Shut up Keaton" he said quietly as he looked up.
Calm. Calm. Deep breathes. He was not allowed to get angry anymore. He was trying hard not to fall under his cursed genes way. He closed his eyes a breathe loudly, loud enough for both James and Zane to hear. He hear Zane's faint words and took a gulp, feeling his Adam's apple bob in his throat. Then his eyes opened and glared at Keaton. "I do have a family Keaton. Everyone in this room besides you, and thank god for that. I don't think I'd be able to look at your ugly face every holiday season. You'd just suck all the holiday spirit out." Ted said, his voice didn't even have a trance of anger. "And it isn't that bad, it's actually quite cozy during the nights, not a sound from anything." Ted said, shrugging as he looked around the Shack. Although it still belonged to the school and Hogsmead, he liked to think of it as his own, since it was built for his father.
Lily saw Brendon look down at her, grabbing her coin and chunking it out the window. She coughed softly as his wand pressed deeper into her throat. She sniffed as Teddy ran into the room, saying something about staying out of his house. Lily tried to smile, but she couldn't. Her world had just crashed and burned. Then, he came in and her heart fluttered for a moment. Tears still falling from her eyes, she struggled, trying to escape. "Please, let me go..." she whispered before hearing what he said next. Her eyes closed, tears falling freely but no sound came from her mouth. She couldn't bare to look at her boyfriend. "Please, don't..." she begged, her voice strained.

Brendon watched as Zane assessed the situation and smirked hearing the boys quiet voice and decided to taunt more "Yeah, and I only thought that it was the temper that was fiery and passionate." he taunted smirking. He looked over to Lupin and saw him trying to calm down and sneered "Enough with the sickly family crap otherwise I'll hurl." he said rolling his eyes glareing at Lupin. "This is truely a hell hole and no one in their right mind would live here." He smirked as he heard Lily whispereing and begging beside him and shook his head "As much as I, want to I can't" he said sarcastically. He glared at the three boys again and said threateningly "If any of you try to attack me, she dies."
Nikita's finger trailed down the wall, as she walked into the Shrieking Shack. She had heard voices from outside, knowing one of them immediately. She rolled her eyes fiercely, walking quicker into the Shack, until she was in the room which was clustered with Lily Potter, Brendon Keaton, James Potter, Zane Lestrange, and Teddy Lupin. She sneered slightly, comprehending the conflict immediately. Her voice was a hiss as she strutted into the middle of the room smiling gently at all of the guys around her. Not to mention how hot, each and every one of them were. "Well, looks like you guys are having fun..." She smirked sarcastically, flashing Brendon a glance before walking up to him.
Once standing in front of Brendon, glaring into his eyes, she spoke her voice icy, "Again, Brendon? Really? Just because your damn father got murdered? Please. My father got murdered too, but you don't see me getting revenge." She smirked, continuing on to a different path in her statement, "Oh, and I saw what you did to my boyfriend's face. You can guess how angry that made me." Her eyes narrowed, and she turned back around to look at everyone else who seemed more involved with Lily. She glanced over to look at the Potter girl, her eyes solemn as she stared at her. She rolled her eyes slightly, turning back to look at the three opposing boys.
Lily watched as Brendon taunted her boyfriend, her anger rising quickly. Tears stained her face when her eyes opened. She looked up at the boy who was holding her, her gaze fierce. "Let. Me. Go. Now. Keaton." she spat, her voice hard and cold. She jerked her wrist away from his hand, stepping back. "Stop messing with my family." she said, watching as Nikita walked in. "Well, great! Looks like the bitch is here." she said, as Nikita rolled her eyes. She tried to scoot away away, but a chair was behind her. She drew her wand, wanting to get away. She had a feeling a mass of Unforgivables were on their way. She prepared herself for the on slot. "I suggest you forget what you did to me, Brendon. I'll know it was you if I hear it around school. Won't do much for you, will it? 'Brendon Keaton having to put a girl under the Imperius curse to get a kiss'. Sounds good to me." she threatened, her eyes hard.
It had seemed that she had been waiting for more than an hour for Brendon to show up that she was fed up with it. She jumped to her feet, beginning to walk towards another room area, where she had been hearing ruckus coming from. 'Maybe Brendon will be in there...' She thought to herself, hopeful. Walking into the room, she stopped immediately seeing a number of very powerful students, well apart from herself. Tess had never seemed to shine in the light with magic. It just never came to her as easily as it had others. She ran a hand through her hair, sending Brendon a glance, as he hovered over Lily, his wand pressed against her neck mockingly.
Tess' eyes showed anguish, hurt, and eventually hate towards Brendon. How could he have done this again? He had promised her. Swore to her, in Christ's name! Swearing under her breath, Tess listened to Lily speak, her eyes filled with melancholy. She turned her head away from Brendon, her heart ripping down the middle, which had just recently been stitched up by several other heartbreaks she had endured during her 'relationship' with Brendon. How could you even call that a relationship though? It had no ground, just empty space and heartbreak. Now her eyes were filled with hate. Hate and sorrow.
