The overwhelming urge to want to kick the shit out of Corliss began to fill Rowen's mind. He knew he would never hurt a girl, especially one with a child, but it was still tempting. "Don't you dare bring October into this, you little whore!" he snarled, unafraid to get in her face. His blood was boiling and he didn't know what he was going to do. "I'm so happy that Tobie found a new circle of friends, rather than palling around with the likes of you." he continued, tone just as harsh. "And don't worry, Corliss; I know that any one of you would turn your back on me in an instant." he said. "So I don't trust you, either."
"Yes, I betrayed Kianthra." he started. "But I did it for her own good." he avoided looking to Kia, for fear she'd hex him right then and there. "I'm not going to let the DE destroy all she is. I've seen the real Kianthra...I know she has potential to do something truly good for the world." he continued. "And if I have to be killed to help her change her for the better, then so be it." he finished. "I'm not afraid to sacrifice something for what I think is right. I could have joined the DE, I could have become like every other Slytherin but I didn't. I made a choice." he ran a hand through his hair. "And it's not like I had someone to guide me along the path of trials, either. I have no one in the same position as me." he sighed.
"So, Snape, are you going to finish the deed or not?" he challenged. "Let's not forget that night we spent in the Forbidden Forest...you filthy half-breed." he spat, words holding a venomous edge as he spoke, now face-to-face with Nikita. His green eyes burned into her blue ones, as if begging her to do something about his words. "I still don't think you should be helping run the DE...let's face it; we purebloods are superior to those of your kind." he said. He glanced over his shoulder. "What's the difference between you and everyone in this room, Nikita?" he asked, tone pressing.
