Noah returned the warm smile as she looked up at him, kissing the tip of the nose before putting on his shit-eating grin. He had to show her sometime how much she meant to him, she was the one that could always make him feel like a hundred bucks. But how to show her was the true question. He smoothed out her hair with his other hand as she entwined their fingers together. He squeezed their hands together as she mention the other girls rude comments. "If any of them say a word to you about it when I'm around I won't be responsible for my actions." he told her in a low voice, his teeth clenched. One thing he could not stand is when seeing people getting picked on by others. It came from his years of torture from being put in Hufflepuff instead of Slytherin. But he could understand why now, he was a little soft when it came to certain things, and although he had a temper, that came around after being picked on so much. He earned his rank in the school because of that temper.

As the Doctor told them they could leave Noah slid off the bed, already missing her warmth by his side. He helped her off the bed, wrapping his arm around her waist as kissing the top of her head as they began heading out. He knew know if they hadn't heard from the rumors in school, the noted baby bump Corliss now had would be a complete give away of her condition. "So baby, what are you up for? Do you want to rest or something? We could go head out by the lake or just relax in the Room of Requirements or I could take you back to your Common Room." Noah offered, hoping she wasn't so tired she would want to go back to her common room. If she was tired, they could always go up to the Room of Requirements and just cuddle together. He was sure once Nolan or Kallie was born, they would spend much of their time up in the Room.

Corliss laughed softly and began to respond to Noah, before being interrupted by Dr. Jenkins. "Uhm... Corliss, I'm afraid we're going to have to run a DNA test on the baby. It shouldn't take long, did you have any other plans for the day?" Corliss' eyes shot from Noah, towards the Doctor her eyes wide with curiosity. "No, sir. I don't have any plans, but may I ask why we need to take this test?" She was kind in her asking, choosing the correct words in her statement.

The Doctor cleared his throat before continuing easily, "Well, I want to make sure you're giving the right person credit for conceiving this child... if you don't mind." Answer quickly, her curiosity, and impatience building she answered him giving Noah a look of confusion, "Uhm... I suppose so..." She smiled uneasily at Dr. Jenkins, trying to reassure herself. "Okay... just lay back down on the bed, please ma'am. Noah I'm afraid you're going to have to move for this one." With that, the bright laser thing shone on Corliss' now bare stomach.

Laying on the bed, she looked at Noah, her eyes wide with anxiety. Finally, the doctor came back into the room his face unsure. "Corliss, I'm afraid I have bad news for you. Craven Smith isn't the father of your child. Clay Brent Pierce is." He paused for the name to sink into Corliss' brain. Her mind twisted, but she just couldn't think too clearly about it. Then it struck her. "The father of Tucker." Her voice was broken, as new tears rolled down her cheeks. She reached out for Noah, instantly finding his hand, and squeezing it.

Noah looked at the Doctor with curiousity as he asked for a DNA test. Why? It wasn't like they were going to see if the baby was his, they already knew she was raped. They really have rounded any bases yet, which he planned to take care of next time they were alone, so why in the world would they need to take this test? The doct's answer didn't assure him that everything was alright so he just stepped aside as the doctor did his test, watching Corliss with pain in his eyes, knowing how nervous she was at the moment. As soon as the doctor backed into his office Noah grabbed her hand, rubbing soothing circles on the back of her hand as they waited for the results in silence.

As the docot annouced that Clay Pierce was the real father, Noah noticed the tears roll down Corliss's cheeks and immedietly sprung into action. He knelt by the bed and took her face in his hands. "Cor, Cor babe, everything is going to be alright. They are going to find Clay and he'll be sent to Askaban for years and years to come, never seeing Kallie or Nolan ever. I'll be here to help you, like I told you, and Tucker will be the best uncle there is." Noah said, moving his lips to kiss her tears away. "I'll be here for as long as you need me, I've told you that already. I love you so much Corliss, and nothing will ever hurt you while I'm still with you." he promised her, pulling her into his chest and stroking her hair kissing her forehead every few moments. He looked up to see Dr. Jenkins had already left them alone. "If it makes you feel any better, I'm pretty sure Clay had the same hair as me, it will be easier to convince everyone that Nolan or Kallie is our baby." he smiled, trying to ease the mood. But that comment could go either way, make it really bad or really better.

Corliss felt Noah holding her face. She clamped her eyes shut, wanting the thoguhts to go away. She heard Noah speaking, smiling at his ability to make everything better. "No, it won't be okay! Noah, Clay is the one that killed Claire. Tucker's little sister, the little girl I loved so much.... I can't figure out why that man is out to get me. He'll kill the baby if he escapes, Noah." she said her voice breaking. She opened her eyes then, wrapping her arms arounf Noah's neck as kissing him softly. "This is hard....." she whispered into his ear, tears still in her eyes.

Noah shook his head as she told him it wouldn't be okay. "No Cor it will. I know Clay killed Tucker's little sister, and I know that was tradegic and all but we won't let him get near the baby, even if he does escape. I personally will hunt him down if he ever tries to get near Nolan or Kallie. The both of you mean too much to me to loose." he said, stroking her back. As she whispered in his ear that this was hard, he wasn't quite sure what she meant, so he gave her a confused look. "What do you mean 'this is hard'?" he asked as he moved back onto the bed, never breaking their embrace once.

Corliss smiled softly, glad that someone cared about her and the baby so much. She kissed Noah playfully on the cheek, not really wanting to talk about the tender subject anymore. "Okay, I trust you Noah. But we'll have to be very careful. If he escaped once, he might be able to escape again." she said, her voice shaky from crying. She looked into his eyes, wishing everything was so complicated. "I meant. the whole, acting like you knocked me up, but really I was raped, and just finding out that the attacker was my best friends dad. Pretty tough, I think." she added, kissing him on the nose.

Noah nodded his head carefully, stroking her cheek with his hand. Who would want to hurt so a beautiful girl? Her voice was shaking and he could tell she was trying to hid it but never made note of it, just pulled her close to him. As she looked up into his eyes he rested his forehead against hers, nosing touching. "I know love, and you are so strong." he whispered, giving her a small peck on the lips. Now was not the time to initiate the real first snog. He sat up and looked around the Hospital Wing, noticing that there was only a faint murmur from the Nurse's office, but besides that the place was empty. He pulled up his wrist, noting that it was two o'clock on a Hogsmead weekend. Only first years and second years who weren't allowed to go would be around, and they were probably in the library, courtyard or common rooms by now. "So, as I was trying to ask you before, what say we head up to the Room of Requirements, get some alone time?" he smirked, and pulled her in for a deep kiss, hinting what he wanted to get out of the way.

Corliss smiled up at Noah, extremly glad she had somone who cared so much. As he rested his forehead aganist hers, her laughed softly, excited about all the physical contact going on. As he kissed her, her head began to spin, much as it did when she really liked someone. When the kiss broke, she gave him a sassy smirk. "Mmm, Mr. Dale. I would love to have some alone time. That would be nice." she said, playfully pecking his cheek. She winked at him then, getting the true meaning of the 'alone time.'

Noah sent her back a lopsided smile to beat her sassy smirk. He returned the wink before shifting off the bed and before she could move herself, his hands flung between her knees and back, carrying her bridal style. "I think I'll carry you like this all the way to the Room of Requirements." he grinned but gently put her down, a arm wrapping around her waist. "Now, I've never actually tried to get in there without some help, so hopefully it will work, getting in that is." Noah said,pushing the door open for her, allowing her to walk through like the perfect gentlemen. His mother raised him well.

Corliss couldn't help but smile as Noah returned her smile and shifted off the bed. Before she could even push a cenitmeter off the cot, Noah's arms were around her, picking her up like she was his little bride. She giggled softly, kissing the boy on the cheek before he put her down. Corliss let him slide his arm around her waist, feeling oddly off balance since Noah was almost a foot taller than her. Looking up at the gentleman she was dating, she winked again as he opened the door for her. She pulled away from his arm and grabbed his hand quickly. "I think I might be able to help you.. I've only been in there a few times, but I've always been alone." she said, swinging their hands like a two year old. A lone first year ran in front of them, stopping to get a good look at Corliss. She smiled at the boy, who then yelped in horror and ran away mutter something about her being pregnant. "I see how it is. Shall we, Noah?"

Noah squeezed his girlfriend's hand as she swung their hands inbetween them. His and Charlotte's relationship was never like this. It was more.. physical then anything else. But he would go back for a day just like this. Even if everything seemed to get crappier and crappier by the minute, he wouldn't change it for the world. As the boy pulled him from his trance he sent him a glare as he muttered something about her being pregnant. He sighed, knowing there would be a lot more of this now with the bump on her stomach. He reached their entertwine hands out to her stomach and laid there softly for a moment. "We shall dear Corliss." he smiled, leading her up to the seventh floor. As they stood infront of the hallway, Noah looked back and forth down the hallway. "Walk up and down three times and think about what I want and the room will show up?" Noah asked her, an eyebrow raised to make sure.

A feeling of happiness washed through her as she felt Noah's hand upon her slowly rounding belly. "Your just too cute." she muttered softly, grinning up at the Huffler. She let him lead her to the seventh floor, smiling as they arrived in front of the wall in question. She heard him ask what he was doing and simply nodded her head, a smile still planted firmly on her lips. Even though the day couldn't get any worse, even though everyone would be staring at the couple and the soon to be born baby, even though her life was going to suck majorly for a while, Corliss didn't think she could have been any happier about having her baby. The feelings just kept getting strong between the new couple.

Noah nodded and let go of her hand. He bit his lip and walked to one end of the hallway. I need a place to hide away with my girlfriend. Noah thought as he made his way along the hallway. He didn't really want to hide per say, but it was what they were doing at the moment. Besides, hiding away with Corliss didn't seem like a bad thing at all. He thought over and over again until the door appeared in front of him. He smiled and walked over to Corliss, giving her a peck on the forehead as he took her hand, leading her over to the door, his eyes locked to hers and he walked backwards. He reached for the door and opened it for her. "Ladies first." he smiled.

Corliss tried not to laugh as Noah paced back and forth, thinking something that she was sure would open the door. She waited, biting her lip softly to keep the laugh, that was sure to escape, in. When the stone finally gave way, revealing a nicely crafted door, Corliss let out a soft laugh. She took Noah's hand, letting him pull her slowly toward the door, keeping the eye contact. "You better not fall." she whispered softly, a teasing smile on her face. As he opened the door, she walked through, turning around quickly so she was walking backward. "Noah, love, your good at conjuring up hiding places. Just so you know." she said, grinning in a young girl sort of way.

Noah smiled as she pulled him into the Room of Requirements. Much like any common room, there was a cozy fireplace in the dead center, a rug infront of that fire to sit on it if they wished, but the comfortable love seat couch looked much more promising. He grinned mischieviously before grabbing right above her knees and pulled her up. He wrapped her legs around his waist as he arms wrapped around her hips to hold her up. "Mm, I imagined our nights in the common room would go something like this, if we were in the same house and there was no one around." he smiled kissing her chin before walking over to the couch, peppering small kisses along her neck.
