[Teddy Lupin]

Teddy nearly dropped to the ground from the pain. Zane said something about his sister being able to send her pain to others, the .. well he wuldn't think it, it was quite rude. Instead he lifted his wand and pulled the curse off of her, placing a shield charm around he and Rosie as he continued through the forest, sopping when he heard James fall to the ground. "JAMES!" he cried, looking back at Kianthra, who seemed to be getting a kick out of this. He stopped where he was and looked back at his friend. "I can't leave you James!" he shrieked, looking at Rosie who hadn't said a thing since he picked her up, she must of gotten knocked out. Damn, they really needed to get out of here. Ted bit his lower lip as he saw red sparks fly from James's wand, then from Corliss who had managed to be able to walk again. This was turning out to be a nightmare, and they were using Unforgivables to get out of here. If Zane were here, he'd be quite disappointed in the both of them.

Ted knew he had to get them out of there and ran back to James's side. Come on Ted, think, there has to be a way out of this. And just like that it hit him, he needed to think of a distracting first though. He grinned and pulled his wand, casting the Fiendfyre Curse. A large flame dragon eruptted from his wand, cirling the Death Eaters. When them seemed distracted enough, Ted casted the Bedazzling Hex on all three of them, causing them to become invisible, grabbing James and carrying him over his other shoulder until he seemed able to walk again. He casted Protego over them again, making the three of them completely hidden from the Death Eaters. Ted looked up ahead, finally seeing the edge of the forest. He picked up his speed and finally made it to freedom. The Death Eaters wouldn't dare attack them in broad day light would they? Just in case, Ted continued to cover them in the Bedazzling Hex and shield as he ran up towards the castle.

ooc; I had to get them out of there, sorry I didn't wait, but I'm pretty sure one of them would've died shortly xDD ^^;

[James Sirius Potter]

James yelled when he was hit by the curse again and closed his eyes the pain taking over too much. He smiled that his curse hit Kia but just after that he couldn't take the pain or the loss of blood any longer and lost consiousness. The last thing he felt was someone lifting him up and running with him.

[Zane Lestrange]

In fact Teddy was right, Zane was disappointed in them both. He'd seen everything, the unforgiveables were what hurt him most. I know they needed a way out, but surely they didn't have to sink to the lows of the DE. Life imprisonment, the punishment for those curses and they both performed them, without a second thought, as if it was natural for them. That was the only rule that Zane ever really enforced and it was lying shattered at his feet, broken by his two closest friends. If it had been anyone else, Zane would have thrown them out of the New Order. He hated Unforgiveables, his mother's special talent that Kianthra had inherited. The pain and suffering of so many people, he shuddered at the thought.

So how, may you ask, had Zane seen it all? The answer, as always, detention. For once, it was not detention with Duros. No, Avero had decided it would be funny to move Zane to sit next to Callagher in the DADA lesson. Big mistake. Several loud explosions and minutes of shouting later, both boys received detention to be carried out in the Fornidden Forest. He'd seen everything but had been unable to come to the aid of his friends. The galleon in his pocket only made things worse, but Avero had refused to yet him go until every last orange mushroom had been collected, registered and placed in a basket. Boring, pointless and time wasting work, that could have been completed in less than a minute with the use of magic. But where would be the fun in that?

Currently, Zane was walking back up to the castle with the basket of mushrooms over his left arm. Stupid bloody orange mushrooms. He looked back over his shoulder to see if he could see any flashes of light from the clearing. None whatsoever, however there was a strange shimmering patch of air heading towards him at rapid speed. Disillusionment charm.

Why Teddy, why?

[Teddy Lupin]

Ted looked over to see Zane with his hands filled with a basket of of mushrooms in his arms. He could tell from here that Zane was asking him how he could do this, how he could use.. an Unforgivable.. even in their case. He didn't know what had overcome him, all that matter to him was that they get out of there alive. Especially Rosie, she had been so quite since she had been hit by one of Kianthra's curses. He wouldn't let himself forget this, especially after seeing his friend's face. He knew what this meant to him, and he knew the chances of him being kicked out of the New Order now. Heck, if Zane didn't kick him out, he's probably quit. This wasn't what the New Order was about, he broke the most important rule in their book.

He broke off the Disillusionment, showing Zane that he was carrying both James and Rosie over his shoulder as he raced back to the castle. He could feel his tears burning down his face, his hair a light mousy brown, he had seen pictures of his Mum when she was fighting her love for his Dad quite the same color. It was a popular color whenever he was disappointed in himself. He bit his lower lip and looked over at Zane. He stopped and his both shook with tears, mouthing 'I'm so so so sorry Zane..' his face turning red from his crying. He felt like a blubbering idiot, but he screwed up terribly tonight. He shouldn't of attacked in the first place. He should of just grabbed Rosie and run, but that obviously wasn't working well for them.

Teddy bit down on his lip hard before running to Madame Pomfroy. He would tell her they got attacked in the woods after he convinced Rosie and James to come with him. Perhaps the Professor would go easier on them and harder on him. After all, this was all his fault. All he hoped for was that Rosie and James would be okay. All he needed was a good smack in the head.

[Rosie Lupin]

Shortly after Kianthra hit Rosie with her latest bout of the Cruciatus Curse, the Gryffindor girl had passed out cold on the ground. She hadn't witnessed the DE's vicious attacks on James, nor had she seen Teddy's courageous escape, carrying both her and James on his back.

She'd been dreaming the most awful of dreams. Rosie was strange in that way. Most people didn't dream while they were out. But she, of all people, did. Mostly her dreams concerned what she'd been doing prior to her passing out. This time, however, they were filled with strange shadows hovering creepily over her as she lay on the floor. Rosie supposed this had something to do with the fact that most of the DE had just attacked her, Teddy, and James in the Forbidden Forest, but, for some reason, she felt that it was perhaps a premonition as well. Maybe this was going to happen again. With worse results. And a higher death count.

She came to just as she was entering the Hospital Wing. It took her a moment to realize that she was awake, in the school, and safe. She was so tired. So drained. Being hit with multiple Unforgivables in one day was more than she could handle. Of course, she thought she was the only one of the three New Order members in the woods that day not to have used and Unforgivable. The worst she'd ever done was Sectusempra. But that was simply because she couldn't bear to hurt someone. Even if they were as evil as Kianthra Lestrange and Corliss Malfoy. She couldn't bear to see them writhe on the ground and just stand there by the side, not doing anything, even though they'd just as soon do the same to her. It was a strange quirk about Rosie that made her so vulnerable and practically useless in the field of intense dueling. Or so was her opinion on the matter.

[Teddy Lupin]

Ted had gotten Rosie and James to the Hospital Wing a few minutes ago. He insisted that Rosie and James got treated first, that his shoulder could wait. Are a quick pop into the place and given a sling from Madame Pomfroy, he was fine. What he was worried about was Rosie and James, who had yet to said anything. Was that how bad the attack was? And Zane wasn't here yet,. but he knew he'd be here shortly, probably to kick both James and him out of the NO. And he would go without a fight. How in the world could he use an Unforgivable? He had done it before, while under the Imperious curse, but he knew this circumstances was much different. He had done it, just so he could of gotten out of there. He thought it was the only option at the time, and he knew the difference. He wasn't sure they would take him into Auror training now, since these attacks were highly look down upon, he'd probably get sent to Askaban when Kianthra came and told Duros.

He couldn't think about the disappoint he saw on Zane's face. He began pouring tears at the spot. He could only think of what Harry, his godfather, the one who taught him wrong from right, would saw when he heard of his. And Ron, another Auror, and Rosie's father. What would he think of Rosie hanging around him now? And what about his Gran? She'd be the worst, he could see her crying in her room for weeks about this one. Ted's hair was still the mousy brown color, his face red from crying. He heard someone stir and looked up to see Rosie waking up. A faint smile formed on his face. He knew he said he would get mad at her for going into the woods without anyone else, but he really wasn't the one to lecture her. He was sure Zane was right around the corner. Ted stood up from his bed across the way and walked to Rosie's bed, sitting on the end and looking at her face.

[James Sirius Potter]

James stirred feeling his whole body ache. At first he didn't remember anything about how he got there but it suddenly came back to him. He put his head into his hands when he remembered casting the unforgivable "Zane's gonna freak out." he thought angrily. He opened his eyes and saw Teddy with his hair mousy, not a good sign and Rosie sitting up, that was a good sign. He couldn't believe that he had stooped to their level.

His thoughts turned to his parents who would both be bitterly dissappointed of him. Especially his father who had taught him and Teddy wrong from right. He never wanted to dissappoint them and now he had. He may as well leave the NO right now and go to prison. And Auror training will never take him now after that. He had failed everyone he cared about.

[Zane Lestrange]

Zane stood outside the entrance to the hospital wing. He was trying to find the right words to say to Teddy and James. Ten minutes had passed and still he had not found the right words. It was a difficult task. How I am supposed to chuck my two best friends out of the NO? It's simple. I can't. I have no choice. I just need to make them understand. I know that they know they broke the rules. Heck, they'll probably be punishing themselves enough, especially with auror training on the horizon. Ok so I just need to explain the difference. They'll already know what I say to them, when I've figured out what to say. They've given me no choice. I have to keep them in the NO. If I chuck them out, we'll be even more outnumbered than we are at the minute, I'll be losing two of the best duelists as well as my best friends. I know I can trust them, it's just, I didn't think they would ever choose an unforegiveable over a defensive spell. Ok, I can understand the use of the Imperius Curse, if the situation is an emergency, but the Cruciatus? What's next? The Killing Curse? Argh, I don't know what to do...

Finally he pushed open the Hospital Wing doors. Walking slowly down the ward, he caught sight of the trio. He tried to keep the disappointment from his face, but it was a near impossible task. I know it's not their fault. I should have been there with them. If I had been fighting beside them, this wouldn't have happened. When they first decided to join, I should have told them why I hate unforgiveables so much. Maybe that would have prevented things like this from happening. His feelings were all over the place, the overwelming sense of disappointment being the most prominent, closely followed by worry and guilt. The only emotion he did not feel was anger, after all that never got you anywhere, it always just made the situation worse.

His footsteps echoed throughout the wing until he reached the trio. He sat down on the edge of James' bed, taking care not to cause any unnecessary pain. And then he waited. They would tell them in their own time. Zane wanted to know their version of events and why it had come down to unforgiveables.

[James Sirius Potter]

James heard Zane's footsteps before he saw him. He sat up slowly and looked at Zane and saw the dissappointment etched on his best friend's face and looked away in shame. "you saw what happened?" he asked still not looking at Zane. "I know it's no excuse for what I did but Kia had hit me with the sectumsempra curse and I wasn't thinking straight." He looked at Teddy knowing that he was beating himself up as much as he was.

[Teddy Lupin]

Ted didn't look up at Zane when he entered. He was too ashamed to even look at him. Instead he kept his eyes on Rosie, hoping for some strength from her. "Mine was no accident. I was foolish to believe that it was the only way, the only way to distract them enough so I could think of a plan to get us out there. I thought I tried everything, obviously I didn't, since I got us out of there without an Unforgivable." Ted said, his voice barely a whisper, but he knew he could be heard. The way he felt right now, he was sure the mousy brown color was going to be permanent.

"Look Zane, you don't need to explain, I know what you think of Unforgivable's, just from the things I've heard. I won't be surprised if you kick me out of the New Order, heck, if you don't, I'll kick myself out." he said, he felt his eyes watering again. "Mum... Dad... I've let you guys down." he whispered, shaking his head. He whispered low enough that he would think no one would hear. Except Rosie, she had a keen way of figuring out exactly what he was thinking at the moment. And he knew the truth, he knew his father was totally against it, as was his Mum. They both died from the Killing Curse, and he was only one step away from using it. He didn't deserve to be a part of the Order any more. He was putting his father's name to shame.

[Rosie Lupin]

Rosie scrunched her nose up as her face contorted into a frown. She was battling with herself inside her head as she watched Zane enter the Hospital Wing. On one side, she knew the Unforgivables were wrong and that Teddy and James could have probably gotten the three of them out of there some other way. However, on the other hand, she knew it wasn't fair that the New Order was always the victim of Unforgivables. In fact, it was hardly ever the the Death Eaters got hit with anything permanently damaging, and even then, the spells they were on the recieving end of never hurt as insanely much as the Cruciatus Curse did. So Rosie could hardly blame them.

She shook her head when she heard Teddy declaring that he'd kick himself out of the Order if Zane didn't, before looking up at him, a questioning look in her eyes. "Whoa, whoa whoa. Kick yourself out? I don't think that'll be necessary, dear Teddy. Besides, if I hadn't been stupid enough to wander aimlessly through the forest today, none of this shit would've happened. So, I take full responsibility for every spell the two of you cast today." She turned to Zane, a raging fire lighting up her bottle green eyes. "If you kick anyone out, it should be me."

[Zane Lestrange]

Zane listened carefully as the trio talked about leaving the Order and that he should kick them out. They don't understand do they?

"In answer to your question James, yes I saw everything." He paused, glancing between the three before continuing, "I'm not going to kick anyone out and Teddy if you leave, you'll just be making the situation worse. You're all wrong. If anyone should leave, it should be me. Wait don't interrupt," he said as the others were about to intervene. "I should have been there, fighting alongside you. Then perhaps, none of this would have happened. I'm not angry with you, I'm angry with myself for leaving you outnumbered against the DE. I'm just disappointed and afraid. You know what my sister can do Ted, you experienced it first hand. Your own spell, used against you. What if that happens again, but this time you miss your target and hit one of your fellow New Order members?" He paused to allow this to sink in.

They've hopefully got the message now and we might be able to move on.

[James Sirius Potter]

James looked at Zane wide eyed as he was beating himself up about the fight. "How dare you say you should be the one to leave. You are a brilliant leader, strong, loyal and really brave and the best possible leader we have." he said feeling angry at himself Zane, we both know how you feel about unforgivables and we are both truely sorry."

James looked at Teddy who was still angry with himself and put a hand on his shoulder "Ted calm down. I know you are unhappy but please try to calm." He lay back on the hospital wing bed and looked at his front "I'm going to have scars for ever now thanks to Kianthra." he moaned.

[Teddy Lupin]

Ted looked from Rosie, to Zane then to James. He couldn't imagine that ever happening, but he knew it was quite possible. He remembered a talk with Harry, when he told him that during the war, his father had told Harry that he should of killed the Dementors instead of letting them go, however Harry refused to kill anyone for the time being, he didn't want to use the killing curse on anyone. But his father seemed perfectly fine with it. Maybe he wasn't in his right mind, maybe he was worrying about him and his mother at the moment. He shuddered at the memory, the only memory he had made sure to remember from his childhood. The one where his mother cradled him in his arms and his father wrapped his arm around her shoulder, both of them with wide smiles on their faces. He shook his head, and closed his eyes tightly, fighting back the tears for a moment before he looked up at Zane.

"Sorry." he mumbled, looking at his hands. "And it's not your fault that your a blubbering git who get's detention all the time." Ted said with a smile on his face, turning to look at Zane. "Really Zane, I can't imagine the Order without you, well without anyone really." Ted said looking around at his friends. As James lied down on the bed and moaned about his scars he felt kind of bad. All he got was a few scratches that he could get away with and a arm that continued to come out of the socket.

[Charlotte Riddle]

Charlotte was pissed to say the very least. She silently put out the fiendfyre with a wordless Aguamenti. Her glare was fierce as she watched the group of three run away from the forest clearing. She held her wand up high to keep the rest of them from going after the NO members, and then turned to her fellow DE. If her looks could kill, well, she'd might have been a few Death Eaters shorter at that moment. "I can only spot one good thing that came from this little mess!" her voice was sharp and harsh. "The fact that Lestrange is going to have a God-awful time knowing that two of his best mates and top NO members used an Unforgivable. Kianthra, Scorpious, I want the two of you to make sure Corliss, and all of you have no fighting wounds or marks. I don't want any unwanted questions. We're lucky no one else came out to investigate."

She turned away from them about to walk away. Then turned around quickly, as if on an after thought. She had on a somber smile, "Fox, give me your arm, please." The DE had not yet been branded with the real Dark Marks, but there was a very faint outline of something on all of her inner circles arms. She grasped the girl's arm tightly, knowing she should be receiving the intense pain shoot throughout her body, almost as bad as getting hit by the Cruciatus curse from Charlotte herself.

"Next time you mess up, I won't be as pleasent." She turned from them, " I am also going to be needing your wand for a few days, I'll be expecting it on my bed tonight. Your parents can buy you a new one, just say you broke it or something," she really was unconcerned about what the girl would do without her wand, everything was all part of the bigger plan. "Factum nos vocat."[/b] And without another word, she made her way out of the forest. Charlotte was not one to forgive so soon, there was no acting kind to any member of the New Order unless there was something in it for the good of the DE. Destinee should be greatful that that was all she recieved that time.[/size]
