Taya could tell that Nikita was a little angry at the moment by the tone in her voice. Taya listened carefully, comprehending the words spoken by Nikita. She could tell that Nikita loved her father with all her heart and mind and she didn't feel a bit mad at him for raping her mother. As Taya thought about it, she couldn't see why anyone would hate their father at all. Taya knowing that Sanpe died, thought that Nikita wouldn't know one bit about her father, since he passed away when she was born. Nikita never knew her father personally, but she knew and Taya knew that he accomplished great things within his life span. Taya herself knew that Snape was a good man and would have been an amazing father to Nikita. 'It's too bad Snape isn't alive anymore.' Taya frowned thinking what could have been and replied to Nikita saying, "I am sorry about your father Nikita. He was a great man, just like you said. I admired him for all he did at Hogwarts."

Nikita looked at the stars once more, letting the peacefulness it brought her, wash away the anger she had felt seconds before. She loved this feeling. She felt free, like she could do anything she wanted, and she felt powerfull. It kind of felt like when she used Unforgivables on other students, and innocent creatures. Nikita smiled softly to herself, and then looked at Taya. She listened to her peacefully, and closed her eyes. She was still smiling though. It was probably an odd sight, to see someone smiling with their eyes closed, but Nikita didn't care. She tore her eyes open, and looked away from Taya, looking into the Lake. Nikita decided that she should respond. She began to speak calmly, "I don't really know him though. I thought I did... but, ever since Victoire said something... I'm not sure who he is. I mean I know WHO he was, but I don't know what was going on in his head. What if he was trying to be good? He can't be good!!!!" Nikita yelled. She was not exactly talking to Taya, she was more like talking to herself. Nikita closed her eyes, and a single tear fell from her eye, falling to the ground. She looked down at it, and it shattered, as if it was a perfect diamond, falling from a tall building, and shattering once it reached the ground. When Nikita watched it, it felt as if the world had stopped moving. Time was paused, and nothing at all was moving except, for the diamond, falling. Nikita's eyes rested on the spot that the tear had fallen, and shattered.
The first thing Taya knew was that Nikita was wondering about her father and who he really was inside and the next thing she knew was that Nikita had shed a single tear. Taya didn't know that Nikita would cry in front of people, but I guess she does cry in front of people. Taya watched Nikita wondering what exactly to say to her. Taya looked up at the stars, hoping to think of something to say. "I don't know, Niki. Just don't listen to that stupid Gryffindor. She is just trying to get in your head." Taya looked at Nikita seriously, hoping to cheer her up. 'I don't see why she is crying?' Even though Taya didn't know why exactly Nikita was crying, Taya just hoped that Nikita would be okay. Taya quickly looked away from Nikita, looking down at the ground, studying it carefully.
Nikita's eyes were still lingering on the shattered tear, on the ground. No, she couldn't see the tear, but she knew that it had shattered, on that very same spot. Nikita didn't shed anymore tears though. She had cried all of them out years before. There was probably just one left. Now, that tear was gone, and Nikita felt odd. As if she wouldn't be able to cry ever again. Nikita blinked slowly, and continued to look at the ground, where the tear had fallen. She felt sadness wash over her, but then it was taken over by peacefulness. She tore her eyes away from the ground, and looked into the invisible Black Lake. She closed her eyes, and relaxed. She had never felt this calm in her entire life. It was like nothing could penetrate, the peacefulness she had at that very moment. Nikita leaned her head back, as she carefully opened her eyes. She then laid down on the ground, looking up at the thousands of stars, that she looks at every single night. But, tonight they looked different to Nikita. They looked special. As if, they were something that was so beautiful to the human eye, that they wouldn't be able to look at it for very long. Nikita did though. She couldn't tear her eyes away from the beautiful, shining things dangling in the midnight sky. Nikita focused her thoughts, on what Taya had said. She had almost forgotten that she was there. She had gotten so preoccupied with everything else around her. Nikita opened her mouth to speak, "Yeah, maybe. Well, it's never going to happen again, I can promise you that much." Nikita laughed softly, still watching the stars, with amazed eyes. 'Could they be any more beautiful tonight? Why is it that they are more beautiful than other nights? How can anything be this beautiful?!' Nikita thought to herself questioningly. She looked at the stars, passion burning through her eyes.
