[Corliss Malfoy]

Corliss looked sideways at her black haired friend. She laughed softly, causing a confused expression to cross the girls face. Seconds before, they had been having a serious talk. Her sudden outburst would sound quite odd. "Well, I just think that it is funny that a Prefect breaks the rules so much." she muttered. Of course, when had Corliss Malfoy really cared about rules? The two girls walked quickly away from the grounds toward the Black Lake. They always enjoyed a good late night swim. The Slytherin girl looked up at the sky, the millions of stars and moon lighting their way.
As they got closer, Corliss began to run. She always got excited before swimming. She really had no clue as to why it excited her the way it did. Maybe it was just her weirdness. She shrugged mentally. She was to the edge of the lake in no time. "Hurry Nikita!" she said. She slipped out of her black top. Her dark denim shorts slid down after them. She was left in her black and white bra and panties. No, they weren't lacy like she thought Niki's might be, but they were very pretty as far as toes things go. She waited until her friend was at her side. She had to wait for her to be ready. "Lets go!" she almost yelled..

[Nikita Snape]

Nikita watched as Corliss ran to the edge of the Lake, calling to Niki to hurry. Nikita ran to Corliss' side, and slipped out of her black skinny jeans, and swung her shoes off to the side. She pulled her shirt over her head carefully, and looked at Corliss. Nikita was now, standing in her black laced bra, and panties. "Are you ready, CORLISS RAVEN MALFOY?!" Nikita asked Corliss, humorosly. She turned back to the Lake and took in a deep breath. She grabbed Corliss, and jumped into the Black Lake. The icy feeling of the water rushed around her. She felt peacefull for a few seconds, before she remembered that she needed air to live. She kicked her legs, and rose to the top of the surface. Her head broke the surface, and she sucked in a cold breath, of the midnight air. She turned around trying to find Corliss. Apparently Corliss was still under the water. Nikita decided to let her body float, on the surface, as she waited for Corliss to arrive. Nikita's eyes lingered on the bright stars as she waited.

Corliss looked at Niki. "Yes I am READY!" she half yelled before she was pulled into the cold water. She was very still, sinking down into the water. She looked up, her blue green eyes searching. She barley saw the darker patch of water. She shot up, gasping for air right next to her best friend, "Hello!" she said happily, turning to lay on her back. It was very peaceful out here, in the quite dark. The lake felt oddly safe at night.

"Haha, I know man! Kye looked up from talking to his best friend, Avery, to find his best friend Corliss with her friend Nikita.Kye had been friends with Corliss for a long time, and now he felt different about that. He didn't just like her as a friend, not anymore at least. Kye knew that his best friend, Avery, was dating Corliss, but he didn't care. He wanted Corliss. He needed her. His feelings for his best friend took over his better judgement. Kye looked at Corliss looking her up and down, licking his lips. He smiled at her, hoping Avery wouldn't see, but he didn't care if he saw him or not, now that he thought about it. 'Ohh, sexy!' Kye couldn't help himself. He has held his feeling in too long and he was ready to let them out. 'I am following her. Hope Avery doesn't mind.' After Corliss and Nikita were out of the way for them to hear him he told Avery,"Hey Avery!We are going to follow Corliss and Niki, okay?"

Avery looked away from Kye, and looked at Corliss. He smiled softly, and took his eyes away from her. He loved her so much, and he was not planning on letting her go. He would do anything for her. Avery put his thoughts to the side, as Kye spoke to him. "What? We're following them? Ok..." Avery didn't feel like arguing with Kye, as he followed him out, the doors. Avery could still see Corliss, and Niki, but they were running now. Corliss dissappeared from his sight within seconds, and Avery became anxious. He began running after them, towards the black Lake. Avery slid on the ground behind a rock, as he watched Corliss swim around in the Lake water. He turned to look at Kye, who had caught up with him. "Okay, so what are we doing here exactly?" Avery whispered quickly to Kye. He looked at him questioningly, and waited for an answer.

The two girls floated in the quite water. Corliss looked at the dead looking figure next to her. She flipped over, kicking her legs softly to keep her floating. "Niki? Did you hear that?" she asked, looking back at their things. "No one would steal our clothes would they?" she asked. She saw something duck behind a rock. She chuckled darkly. "I hope they try." she whispered. Her eyes darted to the other figure, he wasn't moving as fast. OF course, it was probaly some of their friends, trying to pull a prank. It wasn't nice to steal though. She laughed lauder, swimming closer to the two. "You coming?" she asked.

'How could he not know why we are down here? He is not the sharpest knife in the knife drawer.' Kye looked at Avery, giving him a 'duh' look. "Are you serious right now? The reason we are out here is to see Corliss. Why else?" Kye looked Avery in his dark, shady eyes and wondered what he was going to say. Kye was pretty sure they would fight, but he didn't care. Anything to get to Corliss.

Avery's jaw tightened, and he gave Kye a warning look. He couldn't control himself, anymore. He was going to let it all out. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING?!?!" Avery yelled at Kye, not feeling the friendship they had anymore. Avery pushed Kye hard, sending him back a couple feet. This was going to get ugly. Kye was NOT going to have Corliss. There was no freaking way. Avery looked at Kye with anger showing all over his face. He had never felt this pissed off at someone. He never thought that Kye would stab him in the back like that, but Avery was wrong. Avery stood up, and looked at Kye, who was still on the ground. He knew that Corliss was probably watching now, as was Nikita, but Avery didn't give a shit. He waited silently, for Kye to stand up, and fight back. His anger started growing even more, as he waited though. Avery really didn't want to fight Kye, but if he had to he would He wouldn't hold back.

Corliss watched the boys talking, she heard the familiar voice of her boyfriend, Avery. She smiled before she realized what was going on. "Oh shit!" she said, swimming toward the shore faster. "Hurry the hell up Niki! I didn't want it to come to this!" she said, talking more to herself than anyone else. She charged out of the water, the cold air hitting her dripping wet body. She shivered as she ran toward them. Of course, she hadn't thought about putting her clothes on. She knew Niki would be behind her. "Holy shit!" she muttered, she was angry with herself. Why couldn't she just like one boy at a time? She was close enough for them to hear her. "What in the hell is going on here?" she asked, her temper rising.

Kye saw it coming all along. Kye saw Avery looking at him with anger, ready to punch or tackle. Kye closed his eyes tightly, waiting for Avery to punch him. Kye was surprised by what Avery did. He pushed him instead of punching him. 'Why did he not punch me? That's what I would have done. He is such a little girl!' Kye looked at Avery with evil eyes, knowing what was going to happen next. Kye stood up and flung his body on top of Avery, tackling him. Before Kye knew it, the two lifelong friends were rolling along the shoreline, fighting over a girl. Kye could feel the pain as he rolled, but he didn't care. All he cared about was Corliss, no one else, at the moment. Kye thought it would never end, when finally they both stopped rolling and lay there panting. 'Fighting is tiring.' Kye laughed at himself, facing Avery. Kye gave Avery a sad looking, mouthing the words. "I am sorry." 'This is pretty stupid that we are fighting over a girl, but it is Corliss for crying out loud! Who wouldn't fight over a girl as hot as she is?' Kye looked at his friend, hoping for him to accept his apology.

Nikita looked up as she heard, and saw the two angry boys, rolling around on the ground. 'What idiots!' Nikita thought angrily to herself. She started swimming to shore after Corliss, and breathed heavily. Once, she reached shore, she pulled herself up, and started running towards, the two fighting boys. "What in the hell is going on over here?!" Nikita yelled, the boys stopped rolling on the ground, and looked at eachother. She heard Kye say sorry, and not pay attention to Niki, and her anger sky rocketed. "I said, what in the hell is going on here!!?? Cause at the moment I would like someone to answer me, before I get even more angry. Now what the HELL is goig on here??" Nikita asked the question severl times, and her anger was still growing, as she waited impatiently, for her answer.

Corliss watched the boys look at each other. They hadn't seem to hear her question, or Nikita's first question. She glared at them as Niki was talking. She could hardly hear Kye say he was sorry. "Ok, I am going to ask a simple question. Why, Avery, did you push my best 'guy' friend? Kye, why are you saying sorry? Answer our questions and no one will get hurt." she hissed, not lying about her threat. Her arms were clamped tightly on her legs, her hands balled up into tight fists. Her small hand was turning white with the strain she was putting on them. She waited, no so patiently, for one of the boys to answer. She was very confused. Yes, she was dating Avery. It was getting serious, but she wasn't ready for that yet, or was she? She didn't know. Kye, well he was her best guy friend in the whole world, and she really liked him too. She lifted on tightly locked arm to push her wet hair out of her face. "We're waiting." she said, crossing her arms across her chest.

Avery looked up at Kye, a smile growing on his soft face. He chuckled, and then punched Kye lightly on the shoulder. "Well, I don't blame you... you know for hitting on Corliss. I mean seriously, I probably would have done the same thing if I was in your spot. Except I'd do it better." Avery laughed and then pushed Kye off of him, sitting up to look at Corliss, his smile vanishing. He had heard what she said, but he had needed to speak to Kye first. He cleared his throat, as his eyes flashed from Corliss, to the extremely angry Nikita. "Well, Kye wanted to follow you guys... so we did. I asked him why we were here, and he said to check Corliss out. I got pissed, as you can tell by now, so I pushed him. Then he tackled me, and then said sorry... That's what happened. I mean seriously, you can't expect me not to get mad, when my best friend just hit on my girlfriend." Avery spoke to Corliss, and Nikita, his voice wanting to get past the speach. He turned back to Kye, and shook his head. He laughed gently, and then turned back to Corliss, and Nikita. Waiting to see what they would say. 'Oh great. I hope Nikita doesn't slap me again, like she did when we were at the Whomping Willow. Sheesh, did she have to hit me sooo hard? I thought my face was going to peel off.' Avery thought to himself. He eyed Nikita cautiously, hoping with all his heart she wouldn't do it again.

Corliss heard Avery explain. Her lips pressed in a tight line. She looked sideways at Niki. "Ah. I don't think that sound right. Do you Nik? My best friend was going to hit on me?" she said, turning around. When her back was to them, she let a smile cross over her face. She turned back around. "Now listen here, I don't want any fighting. Not over anything stupid that you lie about. Got it?" she said, her voice hard and cold. She waited, a hand on her exposed waist. She winked at the two boys before addressing Nikita. "So, are we done swimming?" she asked causally.

Nikita raised her eyebrow at Avery, and cocked her head to the side as she listened to his explanation. She let her eyebrow fall back into place, once he was done explaining. She listened as Corliss spoke to them, and then back at Nikita. 'Is that ALL she's going to do?!" Nikita thought angrily to herself. She didn't care to smile back at Corliss, she wasn't in the mood for that at this very moment. She looked at Corliss, her eyebrow raised once more. Her eyes flashed from Corliss, to the two staring boys, as she spoke. Are we done swimming? I really don't care. But, as I can see you're done with them, but I'm sure as hell not!" Nikita yelled, entirely pissed off. She walked passed Corliss, to stand above the two boys. She crouched down next to them, and began to speak once more, "Okay listen here, and listen good. I want the truth, and nothing but the truth. Got it? I don't give a shit if you fight, because it will entertain me, but I would like to know what you are fighting about. At the moment I'm not sure what the hell y'all are fighting about though. So, please, care to explain. Do it quickly, and truthfully, and no one gets hurt. As Corliss said earlier. Are you ready to tell me the truth Avery, and Kye? Cause, I'm pretty damn sure you don't want another slap in the face, now do you Avery?" Nikita paused off of her long speech, as Kye began to laugh. She raised her eyebrow, and looked at him, with no expression on her face. "What the hell are you laughing about Wood? No, I don't want to hear it. Cause, I'm pretty sure you don't want a slap in the face either. Even as much as you need it though. And, as much as I want to slap you right now. I would shut-up if I were you. Now tell me the truth, at this very second!" Nikita spat, at the two boys. She didn't know how long it would take her to calm down. She took in a deep breath, and waited for her answer.
