Appearance:
Devilishly handsome by any means, Albus Potter is definitely a dashing man in the making. Although he's striking to most anyone in the school, he doesn't tend to make a lot of his looks, and doesn't pamper his attractiveness to the point of being pompous. Instead, he just goes with what he's got and relishes the fact that he can roll out of be five minutes before class and still look better than most others.
The fact is, he looks a great deal like his grandfather, the original James Potter. In fact, had he not been born two generations too late, the two could've been twins. Identical in eyes, hair, face, and body, they were alike to the tiniest detail, except for the difference of Houses.
Perhaps the feature that attracts most to this complex, interesting boy are his eyes. Brilliant hazel in color and flanked by what seem to be a feminine amount of thick eyelashes, these windows to his soul tend to hold a kind, sensetive look in them, and they hardly ever look angry. Though he wished desperately that it wasn’t true, Albus' eyes had a tendency to show every extremity of his emotions in their aureate depths, which is quite uncommon for a Slytheirn, but then again, Albus isn't your normal snake.
Tussled and constantly messy dark brown locks cover the head of Albus Potter. Rather shaggy compared to the normal syle of the day, this hair is perhaps the greatest attribute that makes him look like his father and grandfather. It's also the thing that makes most teachers and parents think he's a troublemaker. Apparently not cutting your hair and enjoying pranking people have something of a linkage between them. Albus never understood why.

Over All Personality:
As complicated and interesting as some may think he is, the Albus Potter that the boy presents himself as is really quite a simple-minded, shy boy. He keeps to himself and doesn't talk to people much, although when he does, it tends to be in a feeble, good-natured voice, which speaks only witty pleasantries and kind words. Never would Albus seek to harm someone, and if he ever did, he would probably kill himself.
Another thing about Albus is the fact that he's a push over. All though his years, he's strived to please everyone, from his family to his few friends to his fellow Slytherins. Along the way, he's sorely disappointed most of them, and as such, he tries ever harder to make them happy. As such, this forces him to do basically everything people ask him to, and makes him very vulnerable to being taken advantage of.
The real problem is when one comes to the sea of emotions raging under the surface of the young boy's shy, reserved demeanor. The main one of these emotions is fear. Being the terrible coward that he is, Albus fears practically everything, which is probably the reason he wasn't placed in Gryffindor. His greatest fear when he was young was to be placed in Slytherin, and once it was fulfilled, he pulled back so far into himself that those who knew him as a child probably wouldn't recognize him. He's terrified of his father and the rest of his family, for he always felt that they were disappointed in him, and as he hates to let people down, it kills him to be around them.
But most of all, he fears the war that is raging in the heart of the school he resides in. He refrains from joining either side for fear of being on the losing end. As it is, he knows which side his father would want him to be on, and he knows which side his fellow Slytherins are calling him to. It's just a matter of which side wins out in the battle.

History:
Born on a stormy September night, Albus Potter was never a fussy child. He hardly ever cried and was always smiling when his mother or father picked him up.
Even as a baby, he strived to please his parents, holding out as long as he could without breaking down into sobs and always letting his older brother and younger sister get fed before him. Naturally, he grew into a reseved child able to be pushed over by even the lightest of touches. Fragile in the most powerful sense of the word, as he grew, he grew upwards, into a gangly child, scrawnier than his siblings and much less outgoing as well.
Upon entering Hogwarts, Albus was Sorted into Slytherin, much to his chagrin. The boy believed to have sorely disappointed his family, and sunk into a rather mild state of depression. He never quite lifted fully out of it, and even in his sixth year at Hogwarts, he can't stand to talk to his family or let himself disappoint anyone else. That's simply the person he is.
