`JOHN[/u][/b][/blockquote]
Name:
John Henry Turnbelt
Age:
Eighteen
Year:
Seventh
Blood:
Half-blood
House:
Hufflepuff
Play-by:
Milo Ventimiglia
Appearance:
John's always been a gangly sort of boy, never really filling out with the noticable types of muscles that most others of his testosterone-filled buddies achieved. Instead, he had a more discreet, wiry kind, that laced their way through his entire body and gave him a scrawny type of strength that would keep people guessing.
The boy doesn't care much what goes on his body. It's usually simple things, as John's not an uptight person. He tends towards button downs with the sleeves rolled up and loose-fitting jeans that compliment his figure. Most of the stuff he wears is colored rather plainly. He doesn't enjoy bringing attention to himself. Rather, he prefers to stay in the background.
There's not much about John's face that would stand out in a photograph. However, it's really when one meets him that they see the attractive qualities in his face. His crooked, endearing smile hasn't gone unnoticed by the women of Hogwarts. As he likes to laugh, that grin is almost constantly making its way across his face. Crow's feet are almost making themselves noticed, as his eyes are almost always crinkled in a good laugh. His eyes are a plain light hazel color, and quite bright when one's having an interesting conversation with the boy.
His hair's not much to talk about. Pretty dark and messy, if one must know. He doesn't really brush it much, although he likes to keep it clean. In fact, he prefers to be clean, and has a tendency of smelling like fresh pine and cologne wherever he goes.

Personality:
John's a friendly person, never snippy or cruel when it's unnecessary. He doesn't get uptight or nervous very easily, and tends to stay calmer. He's a very patient boy, and can wait forever for something if he has to. Easy-going to say the least, he doesn't like to get caught up in the little stuff and prefers to go with the flow on most things. He's not extremely picky, and generally has an attitude like he's mildy sedated half the time.
He cares a lot about people, even if they don't know it, but he doesn't really care what they think. He's quite protective over people and can stand up for others like a giant sponge that simply absorbs nasty comments. Things don't really affect him like they do other people. Comments have a habit of just bouncing off of him, and he can hold his own in a fight if he has to, although he generally prefers to be peaceful.
Perhaps the funniest guy in Hogwarts if there was a contest, John doesn't really try to be entertaining, but his witty, sarcastic comments and vast array of facial features generally make people laugh. He's a smart kid, even if he doesn't apply himself in school, and can make just about anyone smile, even if they don't want to. Friendly as all get out, he likes to be around people, and tends to inject a sort of calmess into any environment.
Friendly, witty, patient and easy-going.

History:
John was born on a calm night in the middle of September. He was an easy baby, never crying much and simply doing what he was told. His older sister, Elizabeth was a rebel child, and his parents had a feeling that he knew they couldn't handle another nuisance in the house. He grew up as calm and easy-going as any child could be.
He was a witty kid, and could make his parents smile, which got him out of most of the small amount of trouble he caused as a child. He liked to make people laugh, and didn't enjoy crying. In fact, he rarely cried, as he believed it only made him sad, and such things were silly to do. As John grew older, he was accepted into Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
His years at Hogwarts were easy. He didn't apply himself in school, and only scraped by when he needed to. Nothing really interested him very much. Most of the people around him were uptight people who could only think about nothing but the prize of graduating Hogwarts. John, however, never really looked forward to that. He didn't know what he wanted to do when he grew up. Cheering people up was probably the only thing he was good at. And, last time he checked, that wasn't really a job.
In the recent war, he hasn't chosen a side yet, as he's a pretty peaceful guy and really only gets into fights when he's protecting something or the likes. He doesn't really have a temper, and rarely gets angry. So, with the two sides of the war practically pulling him apart and graduation looming ahead, he doesn't really have much time to think of anything else.
