Looks:
Rowen is quite handsome, to put it lightly. He has nice square features that give him a tougher, edgier look, which seems to catch the eyes of the ladies on occasion. He is is very muscular, due to the fact that he involves himself in physical activites such as swimming, running, and Quidditch almost every day if he gets the chance. He’s a little on the taller side, standing at five foot ten or so. He never really complained about his height, due to the fact that a lot of girls thought it was cute that he was tall.
Row’s hair is a light, mousy brown that sweeps over his eyes. His father wants him to cut it so badly, but Rowen just has to keep insisting that it’s the style. Anyway, his hair wasn’t always brown, you see. Up until age five, he had blonde hair like his mother. For some odd reason or another it started to darken and it’s been that way ever since. Like his sister, Tobie, Rowen also inheritted a hint of his grandfather’s metamorphageous powers, seeing as parts of his hair change color on their own every now and again, usually when extreme emotion is present in him.
Rowen observes the world around him through curious hazel eyes that he definitely got from his father. They are also subject to change to a dark brown. Usually if he’s unsually angry they will darken, but for the most part they’re hazel. Anyway, Rowen had been complimented due to his eyes a couple of times, not really getting why they were so attractive. In his opinion, they seemed almost ugly because they were mixed with so many different hues of brown, green and gold.

Rowen has been involved in many sports, both of the Muggle and Wizarding variety. He can easily say that Quidditch and Soccer are his favorites, though.

Ok, not like that you sickos. Rowen and October share a very close bond. He is protective over his sister, and vice-verse. So be careful if you ever intend on crossing either of the Hemingway twins; they’ve always got eachother’s backs!
[x] Snow
Rowen has always found the icy powder quite peaceful, and loves to go out during the winter and have a good snowball fight.
[x] Blondes
Yea, they might have a reputation for being dumb but Rowen loves girls with blonde hair. It may be just because brown hair reminds him too much of his sister or something, but he’s always been particular to blonde girls and has never been seen dating someone with brunette hair color.
[x] Dogs
Who doesn’t like a big, happy, tail-wagging best friend? Rowen has two dogs of his own back home named Harley and Kayla and he loves them both to death.

Dude with the ‘tude, knock it off! Rowen hates people who constantly have an attitude with him. Just treat him nicely and you won’t have a problem. And never, unless you’re Tobie, roll your eyes at him. He absolutely hates it.

They’re so annoying! Plus, they sting you! What the hell?!
[x] Cake frosting
Yeah, sort of random, but it’s true. Rowen is a loser who takes all the icing off of cakes, cupcakes, and everything else. It’s just way too sweet for him. He’ll give it to Tobie, though. She devours it!

Tobie’s had one, and Rowen doesn’t remember how many times he’s wanted to punt the stupid animal across the lawn. All they do is eat and sleep, and they’re not even friendly!

He’s such a moron. I also hate Herbology, especially now since he teaches it.
Strengths:

Yea, Row may be a Slytherin, but it doesn’t mean he doesn’t have charm. Hey, if it wasn’t for that trait he’d be in detention a lot more!

He can remember things from far back with detail.
[x] Is almost fearless
Sometimes he lands himself in trouble because of it, but Rowen is a daredevil and nothing scares him, really.

If you’re Rowen’s friend, you’ve always got someone who has your back. Rowen is extremely protective and would do almost anything for his friends…
[x] Thinks on his feet
Rowen can think quickly, which helps to get him out of tight spots. This also makes him wonderful at duels, because he'’l always be three steps ahead. Sometimes when he'’ got to think on the spur of the moment, he’ll come up with something marvelously clever that’ll leave your head spinning.
Weaknesses:
[x] Jealous
Rowen gets jealous easily. Like, if he sees October spending more time with her friends then he gets jealous, or if some guy is hitting on his crush he’ll get jealous.

Like his sis, he’s also got a blind eye. It’s got to be some kind of weird twin birth defect, like how some twins or tiplets are born with two right hands.

He’ll go weak at the knees for girls who have pretty blue eyes.
[x] Communication
Sometimes Rowen can’t express his feelings in words. It’s just hard for him, since he kept quiet after his mother died. He never really told anyone his feelings about anything after that.

If you do something to piss him off once, Row will never forget it.
Fears:
[x] Healers
He’s got it fixed in his mind that his mom died because the Healers who delivered his baby sister didn’t try and save her. Hence, Rowen always made an extra effort never to get sick or injured.

Yes, he can see them but no, he doesn’t like them. They’re creepy. No wonder the stupid creature is what his boggart looks like!

Because he isn’t very good at communication, Rowen is afraid of being abandoned by his friends and family because they won’t understand him and will give up on him .

Not that his dad would hit him ever, but if he ever recieves a letter from home Rowen always is afraid that his father will be upset with him.

Over All Personality:
Rowen would be the guy at the party that is drinking, laughing, and probably doing something stupid. He loves to chat with people and loves his friends. Most of all, he loves his ‘Lady Friends’ as Tobie would call them, like Corliss Malfoy. He never is able to keep his mouth shut, which gets him in trouble during class. He’s also got this philosophy where if he doesn’t agree with a rule, he won’t follow it. Like, the whole “No Cheating” thing? What the hell? He sees it more like sharing your knowledge…
All things aside, Rowen’s a pretty decent guy. He isn’t overly aggressive unless provoked, though he will go behind your back and cause you so pain later. He’s been caught multiple times stalking the corridors at night just to set up little traps for the first years in the morning. Many will question if he belongs in Slytherin, but because he also loves to lie, cheat and insult people until they cry, there’s no question about why he was placed in the snake house.
Rowen, though, has a darker sde to him. After his mother died, the joyful little light that burned inside of his was snuffed out. He became withdrawn and quiet, and even though he can defy it sometimes, the ever-lurking presence of his true self binds him in chains. Often times he’ll go out on his own to think, and sometimes just to cry. I mean, he’s no wuss by any means but sometimes just sitting in Herbology and learning about the plants that his mother loved to tend to so much puts him on edge.

Family History: Samuel Arthur Hemingway began his Hogwarts career and was immediately placed in Slytherin. He, like his children, had a sneaky, manipulative nature about him that only suited the Slytherin house. He would constantly harass the underclassmen and slowly became quite popular in school. However, there was one girl he met that he would throw that all away for…
Hannah Jennings had to have been the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. She was petite and small, with curly gold hair and pretty gray-blue eyes. She always looked in a hurry, though; her hair was constantly thrown up in a messy ponytail and her glasses were falling off her nose. One day Sam conjured up enough courage to ask Hannah out, and that’s the way the story goes. From there, the two managed to stay out of the Wizarding War, though did stay on top of things. Hannah went on to become a successful Pediatric Healer at St. Mungos, and Samuel pursued his path to become a writer for the Daily Prophet. Once their careers were firm, they started a family. To their delight, Hannah was blessed with not one, but two beautiful children, whom she named October Claire and Rowen Wesley. The twins were named after their grandparents, and grew up to be bright and lively children that brought joy to the couple’s lives each and every day.
Of course after having such a lovely pregnancy in the years previous, Hannah and Samuel decided to have another child. The pregnancy was nice and easy, and October and Rowen couldn’t wait to have a new baby brother or sister.
Hannah Rene Hemingway was born as happy as her older brother and sister; being named after her great-grandmother (Whom her mother was also named after).
Two years later, Hannah, October and Rowen's mother died tragically. The family had gone to a reunion during July along the British Channel and unfortunately while taking a boat ride, Hannah Lucy Hemingway had fallen overboard and drowned. This had torn the family apart, affecting each person differently.
Self History:
Rowen started out as a fun, happy child. He was well-behaved, addressed everyone as “Sir” and “Ma’am” and was active in sports and such. After his mother’s death he slowly withdrew himself from the world, realizing how cold life could be sometimes. He forgot about any and all activites he used to enjoy, and the only reason he perked up slightly was because one day his father came home from work with a beautiful chocolate lab puppy whom he named Harley. Harley has been therapudic to him and has taught him to have responsibility. Harley also made him realize that now there was something worth living for.
Once entering Hogwats, Rowen received detention slips every day almost. Running in the Corridors, Hexing fellow classmates, disrupting the learning process. All minor offences, almost insulting. Well, one day Rowen decided to do something big. He was so pissed off at Peofessor Longbottom one day in his third year that he inflicted the ‘Eat Slugs’ charm unto him was immeadiately given a month’s detention. Let me tell you, the Forbidden Forest is one scary place…
