Rosie laughed with him. "That Hufflepuff kid? Well Ted, I'm pretty sure he's got some damage to his brain. So, being better than him at something really isn't saying much. But thanks anyways." She gave him a swift kiss on the cheek before looking back up at the sky. She often felt sorry for the Hufflepuff kid. After all, he did seem to be a bit on the mentally challenged side. Which wasn't very common among the Wizarding Community, no matter how common it might be in the Muggle world. Of course, Rosie was sure the Hufflepuff didn't have too many problems. Otherwise, he wouldn't have passed all his years at Hogwarts.
Rosie smiled at his mention of Christmas. She'd always loved the holiday season at the Weasley household. For some reason, it was the only time of the year that the whole family was there. In fact, it was required that, if you were a Weasley, you be there at Christmas. Or someone would find you and shoot you down with one of those Muggle pistols. During other holidays, one or more members of the family would be out on their respective vacations. Bill and Fleur often took Victoire to Romania, where they'd all study dragons together. Rosie was glad that wasn't her family. If she had to study dragons on the holidays, she'd probably welcome a couple shots from a gun.
Although she often felt bad during the holidays, simply because she wondered constantly whether Teddy was having a good time or not. After all, her family, though they tried their best to welcome him in, was not his family. It was, however, as close to a family as he had, other than his grandmother, who was quite a nice woman, Rosie had to admit. She'd stayed a his grandmother's house with him and Zane for the summer after second year, and they'd all had a grand old time, Teddy's grandma included.
Rosie laughed, listening to his retorts and making a mental note to ask Zane who was more perfect, her or Ted. "You think your hair's bad? Have you seen this mess?" At that moment, she pointed to her hair. It was rather a mess, as it was constantly wild and tangled. The ball had been the only time she ever even attempted to attack it with a straightener and a curling iron. In fact, she doubted it would ever listen to her again, as she'd made a pact with it to leave it alone for the rest of her life, as long as it would just cooperate for one night. And she intended to keep that promise. When he mentioned his grin, she frowned at him. "I like your smile. It's cute." At this, she scrunched up her nose, before laughing, her cheeks taking on a slight pink tinge. She had just called him cute, after all. "And who doesn't like a little wolfish behavior now and again?" she chuckled, tapping his nose lightly with her pointer finger, her face breaking into a grin as she stared at him.
