It was one of those days. One of those magical days in the midst of the drear and cold of autumn, where the sun finally stood up and shook the clouds away. One of those days known to most Americans as Indian Summer.
So Logan, as one of the best known Ravenclaws still in Hogwarts, today, had pulled some strings, and half-dragged, half-pushed all of his fellow housemates to the lake for a party. He, personally, had strung the trees surrounding the body of water, with little lights that now twinkled as dusk came closer and closer, as well as having dragged the tables down, stole most of the food, and hovered a large number of blue and silver lights all over the Black Lake, giving it the appearance of a dark night with a thousand stars.
A smile lit the seventh years face as he watched his closest friend dart around the party. Someone had obtained a muggle CD player, which was now spouting one of Logan's favorite songs, Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy). He waved at Lysander, and walked off to the dock, listening, joyfully to the sounds of fun coming from the Ravenclaws.
Sitting on the edge of the wooden walkway, he pulled the acoustic guitar from his back, and strummed it for a few seconds, making sure that it was still tuned, perfectly. It was, so Logan rang his thumb over the strings, releasing the pleasant music. His thoughts turned to recent events, including the strange almost Silver-Screen quality of his adventure in the Forbidden Forest. As much as he disliked her for being a homocidal whore, Logan had to admit Nikita had done him a favor. Without her, he doubted that he and Olivia would have found out that they like each other, age difference, or no age difference. One of his best friend's songs came to mind, and it mister Kings less than a minute to remember the correct chords. His throaty bass filled the air, though he doubted hsi friends could hear it over the noise of their fun.
"I'm in trouble
I'm so cliché
See that word just wares me out
Makes me feel like just another boy
To laugh and joke about
But even worse I cant stop calling her
I love to hear that voice
And honestly, I'm left with no choice"
