Yet another day gone, well alomst that it. In a few hours it would be Saturday and everyone would be sleeping off their long week. Even this pleasent night, something seemed wrong. Though the pretty girl wandering down to the Black Lake couldn't put a fair finger on what the disturbance was. The night was warm, which wasn't normal in the late Autumun. Even this didn't help Kennedy Simmons figure out what was wrong with this seemlingly perfect night.
Her hair catching softly in the warm air as she procedded to the empty boat house. Stopping at the top of the stairs that led to her destination, she glanced over her shoulder. Nothing. "Relax, Kennedy. Your overreacting." she muttered to herself, taking a deep breath. A run in with a group of Death Eaters earlier that day had her on alert. Her mind kept going back to that every time she turned a corner. Seagan, her older sister, had warned her not to think about it too much. Her sister knew her too well. Once she thought about something to much, she began to think something bad would happen just about any second.
Sighing, the girl took the first step down the vast flight of stairs. After a while she began to wonder if she would meet anyone out in the boat house on that very night. Someone who needed time to think things over just the way she needed to? The boat house always served as her heaven for calm thoguhts. SHe almost always went to the small place alone, but on the off chance that her sister wasn't attached to some guy's face and could join her, she came. That was often though.
Soon after starting the journey down the millions of broken steps, Kennedy arrived at the landing of the Boat HOuse. She laughed softly at how peaceful she felt when a DE might be lurking right inside the building ready to kill her. Shrugging the thought away, she walked right in, taking her normal spot on the right side of the shack. Her little spot, worn down a bit after years of her sitting there, sat between two pillars on the wall and over the water. No ledge protected her from falling into the water. Trust me, it had happened before. You have to be wise when picking a comfortable spot aboue the water. Kennedy closed her eyes, taking deeps breaths of the satly air to calm her nerves.
