James scowled "How can you say that Niki when you resort to using unforgivable's all the time like they are going out of fashion." He couldn't take the insulting any more and his temper boiled over "How am I a failier, I am fighting for the good side and am not cowering over to the DE because its the easy way out!"

Nikita's smile vanished, and she became very serious. "I wouldn't say that, the DE is the easy way out." That's all Nikita could say. She had no idea what else she could say. All she knew was that the DE was going to win. Nikita put her hand inside her pocket. She felt her wand turn in her hand. Nikita wanted to curse, James so bad, but she knew it wasn't time yet. 'Maybe he'll strike first... That is if I push him far enough...' Nikita thought evilly to herself. She smiled, once more a the thought of this, and then put her books into her bag.

James smirked "The DE is the easy way out and don't deny it. You can see that what they do is not good and still you follow them." he looked at her wondering whether she was going to strike first. "Why do you say I am a failier. My father is proud of what I am doing and I know it." He glared at her furious really wanting to curse her now but he kept himself in line, but barely.

"No, to me everything they are doing is good. You just can't see it James, because you're not like the rest of us. You're not smart like the rest of us." Nikita stared at James, not ready to strike first. She wanted to wait. "You're almost as dumb as your filthy mother." Nikita hissed at James. She knew this would break him, and that he would strike the moment it sunk in. Nikita smiled evilly, and felt her wand turn in her hand, prepared to defend herself. She looked into James' eyes, waiting.

James listened to her comments about the DE being good and scowled "They just have you brainwashed Niki." he said. He then listened to the next sentance and the temper that he had been fighting all the time won and boiled over. He glared at her fury in every part of his body. He tried to resist but he couldn't and his hand drew his wand and the spell was in his mind before he could stop himself stupify! he thought. Red sparks flew out of his wand towards Niki.

Nikita saw the flash of red light coming towards her. She didn't want to think of any quick spells. She wanted to let it hit her. She didn't care she would be unconscious soon enough. Nikita closed her eyes, as it hit her hard in the chest. She fell to the floor immediately, and was soon unconscious. It was just dark around her. She couldn't hear or see. She couldn't think either. She was just laying there, unconscious. She wasn't sure what everyone else was doing though. Probably just staring at James, and then back at Nikita.

James took a few deep breaths and then realised that he was in deep trouble. He looked round making sure that there were not whitnesses and then put his wand back into his Quidditch robes and looked at Niki Why did she just take the curse without fighting back, that's not like her. Unless this is a trap for me. He took out his NO coin and tapped it with his wand asking for backup if it was needed.

Nikita was just laying on the floor unconcious. Nikita had taken the hit because, she wanted james to attack first. That always pleased Nikita. Making goody goodys attack first. pushing them to their limits. Nikita could feel herself coming out of unconsciousness. She could actually think now, and tell what was going on around her. Students were staring, and James had just tapped his NO coin. 'Well crap!' Nikita thought angrily. she was pissed off now. He couldn't just ask for help! That was like giving up! Forfeighting! Nikita could now move some of her body parts, and this pleased her greatly. She would be able to attack back in a matter of minutes, or seconds. She quickly thought of a spell, and decided that she could go ahead, and curse him. She could flick her wrist, and think. She would just use a non-verbal. She was pretty good at those, but not as good as Kia. "Expelliarmus! Stupefy!" Nikita thought quickly. A scarlet light came out of Nikita's wand, and James' wand flew immediatly out of his hand, and down the stairs. There was no way he could get it... well not quite yet. Red sparks flew out of the end of Nikita's wand and hit James hard. he fell to the ground, and Nikita felt a smug smile cross her face. She had used the stupefy spell to buy her some time.

James slammed into the stairs and felt his wand fly out of his hand. He threw off the spell and dived for his wand and caught it with a catch that even Zane would be proud of. He stood up and glared at Niki scowling. He closed his mind even though he knew that she wasn`t a legillimense. He aimed his wand at her and thought stupify the burst of red light hit Niki and James quickly casted the shield charm.
