[Zane Lestrange]

"I'm sorry Lily and it's not funny!" he said, slightly angry but unable to remain so. He laughed as the girls shrank back away from Lily, running as far away as possible. Their new lookout was the top of the stairs before you reached the dormitories. "I'll halve it with you," he said, attempting to cut the crumpet with his left hand. He started laughing at his pathetic attempts to cut the crumpet in half using his other hand.

Lily watched the running girls. She smiled. "It is to funny. You know you have to laugh." she said, grinning. She watched Zane fail at cutting the crumpet and snatched it from him. Smiling she tore it in half, handing Zane the larger piece. "Ya that was sure hard." she said, laughing before she took a small bite.

[Zane Lestrange]

"Hey I was using my left hand. I'm not that pathetic to be defeated by a crumpet...hmm thanks" he said as he tucked in to the crumpet. The half of the crumpet had soon disappeared when Zane spoke, "how I do love crumpets." he laughed as he said this. "Now I'll have to run down to the kitchens to get some more, someone's obviously being stealing from my secret stash of crumpets..."

[Lily Potter]

Lily smiled softly. "Oh what ever you say Zane." she said before taking a bite of crumpet. She quickly finished it and looked at her friend. "Why don't you just tell those kids to get you some?" she asked, coming up with an idea. She smiled happily. "I bet you your girls, oh sorry, those girls took them. They probably didn't eat them, more like they are holding onto them like they are a special prize." she laughed.

"You think this is really funny don't you? Ok I will go and ask them, but I bet I can predict what will happen." Zane stood up and headed over to the entrance to the stairs. "Hey" he said with a big smile, "Would you mind running to the kitchens to get some more crumpets?" A short pause and the girls almost fell down the stairs in their eagerness to get out of the common room first. A fight broke out near the portrait hole, it seemed as though they wanted to be the ones to bring back the crumpets. Zane returned to his seat and said, "see what you done Lily?"

[Lily Potter]

Lily smiled at Zane. "Yes I do think it is really funny. OK you go and ask them Zane. I'll be here waiting." she laughed, watching the girls giggle as Zane walked up. She nearly fell on the floor as they rushed down the stairs and fought by the portrait hole. Lily was still laughing as Zane came back. "What I've done? You could have just asked them without that big smile. Ya I saw that!" she laughed, still watching the girls fight.

"Now you're telling me to stop smiling! Are you never satisfied Miss Potter?" he alughed again. It was true he had smiled at them, but then, Zane smiled at everyone, he was just a smiley person. The girls had actually disappeared now, no doubt they would be back in five minutes. Peace at last

[Lily Potter]

Lily laughed harder at his comment. "When did I become Miss Potter?" she asked. She looked over Zane's shoulder and say the boys. She smiled and waved at them again. One seemed to try and smile back, the other looked as though he was going to faint. "I really have no idea why you hate it so much. I think is it quite funny." she said again.

"You became Miss Potter ever since you told me off for smiling. You'll begin to hate it soon, don't you worry." He heard the clock ticking from above the fireplace, each second that ticked by seemed longer than the previous. Granted it was well past midnight, maybe it was just fatigue, or maybe the clock was about to die, you never could tell.

Lily smiled widely at Zane. "Zane, I will prove you wrong on that. I won't get tired of it. Trust me, I can have fun with this." she laughed. The clock seemed to grow louder, but the girl ignored it. The boys were still freaking out from her wave.

"I'm sure you will Lily, just don't get carried away..." Zane laughed as he said this before he added, "Oh and just watch out for chocolate's laced with love potion in the weeks leading up to the dance," now that would be a sight to see Lily under the influence of a love potion, infactuated with one of her fan club. Zane laughed even harder as the boys continued to freek out from Lily's wave. "Look's like you've nearly killed the lad..."

[Lily Potter]

The girl glanced over Zane's shoulder, looking at the boy you looked like her forgot how to breath. She felt her cheeks growing hotter. Cursing herself mentally for blushing, Lily looked back at her friend who was sitting in front of her. "Well now, Mr, Lestrange, who says I'll go overboard with it?"she questioned, her signature quirky grin crossing her lips. She laughed before saying, "Oh, and thanks for the warning. You'd better watch out too, I heard on of your stalkers talking about slipping the potion into your pumpkin juice." she hinted. To her surprise, the girl that had said that had happened to be walking behind Zane at the exact moment she had uttered the words. The small girl sneered at her, the sneer was good enough to belong to one of the Malfoy siblings. "Oh crap." she muttered, her cheeks growing hotter still.[/center

"You're just loving the attention aren't you?" he laughed as Lily blushed even more. Zane fought the temptation to turn around and see who had been planning to spike his pumpkin juice and eventually he won. The girl looked relieved as she hurried to the otherside of the common room still glaring at Lily. "Thanks for the warning, I'll just have to be a bit more careful, as will you." He paused before saying, "don't worry Lily, I'll protect you from the wrath of the evil stalker girls..." He began to laugh as he was coming to the end of his sentence, the signiture Zane smile spreading across his face. The faces of other people around the common room read, looks like someone's had too many crumpets, and that's the person who's leading the New Order and finally I think our Quidditch Captain has finally gone mad.

[Lily Potter]

Lily groaned. Her eyes watching the girl as she continued to glare at her. "No! I don't love it....." she said, laughing at her friend. The Gryffindor girl looked back at her two stalker boys, who had seemed to calm down until she looked at them again. "You quite welcome, deary. Hope you don't get drugged. Oh and thank you ever so much for protecting me from your overprotective stalkers." she joked, winking at him.

"You've set them off again," Zane managed to stop laughing but a big smile still remained on his face. "Deary?!?!? How old do you think I am? Seventy?!?!?" that restarted the laughing especially with the wink that followed. "That's quite alright Miss Lily, any time." He caught sight of Lily's boys out of the corner of his eye. It looked as though they were both daring each other to run up and touch the back of Lily's chair. Of course Zane said nothing of this and Lily remained blissfully unaware of the fight about to break about for her.
