A secret your character has never revealed:
Eleanor's secret is that she used to be a drug addict when she was twelve.
Over All Personality (At least 3 Paragraphs): Ever since her and Stephen stopped being friends, Eleanor couldn't open up to people as well anymore. She became very independent. Her past taught her to be strong when you were pushed down. Being pushed down was always something she hated, because she hated being vulnerable. Weaknesses have always been a thing she's kept hidden from the word.
What people think of her has a big affect on her. She doesn't show it, but if someone says something bad about her, it really hurts her feelings. In her opinion, people should view her as strong, independent, and proud, instead of a weak, pathetic child, which is how she usually feels. If everyone knew she'd done drugs, she wouldn't be able to live with it. When she was doing pot, she felt that that was her at her weakest point in her life.
Her curiosity is something that's always gotten her into trouble. Curiosity, along with stress, is mostly what made her start pot in the first place. She does her best to never go back on a promise. Also, she is nice to everyone she meets, unless they are mean to her first. One could call her a pure, broken soul. If she had to choose between good and evil, she would always choose good. Crying is something she rarely ever does.
Songwriting is something she does a lot. She is good at the guitar. Taking walks is her way to release stress, ever since she stopped doing pot. She tries to do the right thing, even if she sometimes slips.
History[/u][/size]
Parents: Stuart Ackerly and Orla Quirke
Siblings (If any): None.
Family History (At least 2 Paragraphs): Stuart Ackerly was a perfect student. He had great grades, had a good reputation, and he had a guaranteed right to graduating with flying colors. Rarely ever did he break the rules, and he always tried to make people proud of him. This perfect student wouldn't dream of doing anything that could expel him. His life seemed perfect, yet there was one thing in his life that was missing.
And that was Orla Quirke, his first and only true love. She was beautiful, smart, and only slightly crazy. But, most of all, she was fun, had a great sense of humor, loved to be around people, and she was a popular kid. A popular kid who actually said hi to the geeky, book-loving nerd every day. In their sixth year, they started dating. It was like a relationship meant to be.
Before they met each other, Stuart had never gotten into trouble. Then he and Orla starting going out, and she drug him into several meddlesome plots, which he enjoyed. Never had he experienced such a life of mischief! He loved it, and he fell in love with her. She fell in love with him, also. Everyone at Hogwarts named them the couple that was meant to last.
On their last day of their seventh year, he proposed, and of course, she said yes. They were married for two years before they decided to have a child. That child was Eleanor. Nothing, to them, was better than this miracle. They brought her up and raised her to be polite and charming, to be dashing and ladylike.
Hence their disappointment when they found out that she'd started pot. It only made them feel worse when it was their fault. They promised to make things better, and they did. They started marriage and family counseling. Being in the town they lived in became too much for them to bear. They had to leave, had to get out of that town. And that's just what they did. They still go to marriage counseling twice a week, and it's made all the difference.
Self History (At least 2 Paragraphs):When she was eight, her best friend, Sasha, died in a car wreck. That was the first tragic thing to ever happen to Eleanor. After that, her parents started fighting. In the beginning, it was just original old fighting, arguments, if you will. Then it took a nasty turn. They were always screaming at each other, all the time. It got stressful for Eleanor. She couldn't take it. When she turned nine, she met Stephen, who easily became her best friend. Stephen was three years older than Eleanor.
Right after Stephen's thirteenth birthday, he became associated with drugs. Eleanor had told him about her parents. He felt sympathetic, and his way of helping her was to introduce her to drugs as well. Soon, they were both addicted. She hated the way it felt to be high, but she couldn't let it go. It was her only escape from the real world. At the time, she honestly felt like things could never get better.
Shortly before she turned twelve, her parents found out that she'd been doing pot. On that day, she vowed to never do them again. She and her parents talked about why she'd been doing them, and she told the truth – that it was because they'd been fighting. They decided to go to family counseling, and her parents decided to go to marriage counseling. They moved two weeks after, to get away from their past. They all started afresh, and life started to get better.
