Suddenly, to Tess' surprise, she was picked up by Brendon after she put her jeans back on. She sighed, loving the way he held her. She buried her face into his chest, and shivered. Half because she was freezing her ass off, but the other half was because of the rush she got when Brendon touched her. Her spine tingled, as she stared up into his eyes. "I'm... sorry. Please, just don't be mad at me. I ruined this night... again I'm sorry. I'm sooo stupid. You should just turn your back on me right now." She sighed, trying to squirm out of his arms. She felt guilty, making them go back to the castle, although it was Brendon's idea. She sighed again, still struggling against his strong arms.

Brendon walked past the womping willow and got to the steps of the castle. He smiled at her "Why would I be mad at you?" he asked "Stop it. If you call yourself stupid once more I will leave you here." he laughed slightly. "Don't try to get away cos you can't." he teased.

Brendon released the breath he had been holding for ages. He smiled as he saw her come round and held her forehead when she puked the water. He smiled down at her realising she must be freezing and grabbed the fleece that he had brought with him and put it round her and grabbed her jeans. "Here put these on." he said as he put his shirt and pants back on. Once she had done this he picked her up and started walking back to the castle with her in his arms.
Still squirming in Brendon's arms, she felt more guilt, and a lot of embarrassment wash over her. Her voice was stern, but with hardly any more emotion in it. "I know you want to leave me here. Just do it! I also know you are mad. As much as you try to hide it I can tell! I'M STUPID. Now. Put. Me. Down." She said, her green eyes striking. Part of her heart wanted to run away from him, to hide her flushed, but yet flamed up cheeks of her embarrassment. She knew that she wouldn't be able to walk though. She would be on the ground in a matter of seconds. "I AM stupid. You know I am too. Just admit it!" She yelled feeling her cheeks turn an even brighter shade of an embarrassed red color. She shook her head in agony, burying her face into his wet shirt that covered his once bare chest. She sighed, giving up on struggling with his strong arms.

Brendon smiled and shook his head "then you don't know me well. I would never drop and leave you. " He said and kissed her. He stopped walking towards the castle and stayed there kissing her.
Tess shuddered against Brendon, as his lips met hers in a comforting fashion. Part of her wanted to die in his arms right then and there, but the other part didn't want to be away from him for more than a few seconds. Her heart seemed to lift from her chest and crawl up her throat, turning into another big frog, which she tried to shake from her throat but failed miserably. She pulled her arms around his head, pulling his body even closer to her. She made the kiss quicken, but she hadn't realized that she had done this. It was like something was controlling her body. A powerful force that wanted Brendon, and only Brendon. Tess felt the sudden need for air flash through her blurred mind, and she pulled away from the kiss to get a big gasp of fresh air. They were both breathing hard by the time they plunged back into the kiss. She didn't even think to respond to Brendon, knowing that he knew that she didn't feel the need to respond. Or that she didn't have the voice to do so.

Brendon smiled against her lips and kissed her fiercely wanting to be closer to her. He was glad that she had dropped her struggle and was kissing her back. He suddenly remembered he had to breathe and when she pulled away he breathed hard to get his breath back. He smiled down at her and said "Feel better?" He kissed her neck tenderly.
A short laugh put a new smile on her face after Brendon's comment. "Well, yeah I suppose I feel better. Except that is the second time tonight that I've lost my breath. I've been with you both times too! Dang. What are you doing to me, Brendie?" Tess laughed gently at her stupid nickname for him, almost positive that he would hate it. She doubted that she would call him that ever again though, so there was no reason to get angry. She didn't think that he would get mad though. He was normally calm and collected... well most of the time. With a quick swing of her head, she flipped her long striking blond hair over her back, trying to release it from it's major tangles. Oh, it was no use. She would have to take a shower, and towel dry it by herself. Then it would back to it's normal qualities again. Thank the lord she didn't have to straighten it every single day like some had to.

Brendon smiled and kissed her again "brendie?" he said laughing. "Do me a favour, don't call me that in front of my friends." he smiled at her capturing her lips again passionatly.
Tess laughed, swinging at his face with her hand. Of course she missed, not entirely wanting to slap her boyfriend. She laughed, a gentle laugh, which echoed around the two that were holding onto each other rather tightly. She smiled lovingly up at Brendon, pushing away from him. "Haha, no need to worry, love. I wont call you that ever again. I'll just call you mine. Is that okay?" She sighed, forcing Brendon to let her jump down from his arms. She pressed her body against his now, standing firmly on the grass. She felt no more dizziness, thank God. She pecked him quickly on the cheek, running away from him gently. Before getting too far out of reach, Tess tapped him lightly on his shoulder while yelling, "Tag! You're it!!" She ran away from him quickly, diving gracefully behind a boulder.

Brendon pretended to flinch as she pretended to slap him. He smiled and thanked her for not calling him that in front of his friends. Tucker would have a field day with that. He would never be able to hear the end of it if he knew. He smiled letting Tess down and felt sparks fly from when their bodies touched.
When she tagged him and ran away he laughed and ran after her seeing her dive behind the boulder and playfully crept behind her and tapped her shoulder "Tag you're it." he whispered and kissed her neck. He then ran off waiting for her to come and find him. He ran and hid behind one of the non fighting trees.
A slight tap on the shoulder from behind was all Tess needed to jump slightly, and squeal. Her heart raced, even as she felt Brendon's lips press quickly against her neck. She sighed gently, hating the fact that he stopped kissing her neck. She jumped up from her spot, flipping her long blond hair over her shoulder, which was already drying ever-so-quickly. She jogged around the area, noticing a small piece of Brendon's shirt blowing in the breeze. She ran quickly towards it, tackling him to the ground, as gently as she possibly could. They rolled around in the dirt for a while, laughing and just enjoying each other. Finally, Tess spoke quietly against Brendon's lips. "I'm... I'm tired of running baby. I just want to lay here with you forever." Another sigh, then Tess' lips pressed feverently against his.

Brendon smiled as she screamed. He watched as she ran towards him and tackled him. He laughed and fell back with her on top of him. When Tess said she was too tired he smiled "Yeah me too." he said kissing her back putting all his feelings for her into that kiss.
Tess sighed in Brendon's arms, her eyes falling. She stopped kissing him, laying her head gently on his chest. She felt at piece as the feeling of his chest moved up and down when he breathed evenly. Her eyes closed eventually, and her breathing slowed. She could now hear both of their heartbeats beating in union with each other, which made a smile spread across her face beautifully. She laid across him, knowing immediately that she wouldn't hurt him. She was too tiny, and he was way too strong. He was her man. And her man was strong. A strong, sexy, smart guy who belonged to Tess and only Tess.

Brendon didn't want her to stop the kiss as it was so good. He laid his head on the ground and looked up at the stars enjoying the feeling of her. He stroked her hair slowly, tenderly. He had been waiting over a year to be with her and now he was he felt so happy. He smiled hearing her breathing slow to match his. He sighed. "Everything is perfect here. It's a perfect evening. And you are perfect." he said kissing the top of her head wanting her to feel adored for once.
