Ah, a night of drinking was always pleasent. Currently October Hemingway was stumbling into the Room of Requirement at close to one in the morning, giggling insanely with a bottle of firewhiskey in her hand. She danced on her toes, spinning and clapping like a mad woman within the Room of Requirement, cheeks flushed pink as she waited for her friend Levi to follow. The two had gotten completely wasted under the Whomping Willow to commemorate Avery's death, but instead of drinking one bottle to numb the pain, the two had gone completely insane and had downed three or four each. Tobie was now finishing off her fifth bottle, and surprisingly hadn't thrown up yet. Appearantly Hemingways had a gut of steel, since Rowen drank a lot, too.
the room was warmed by a fire, and looked similar to a living room in a house. A couch was set on one wall, a soft rug on the floor. The only thing strange was a bed sitting in a corner, though Tobie paid it no mind. She was too busy rolling around on the floor, spilling the drink everywhere. "Levi!" she called, hiccuping suddenly and covering her lips. "Excuse meeee!" she smirked, climbing onto the couch and trying to get every last drop of firewhiskey out of the narrow bottle.
"Levi, baby, I need moooooore!" she laughed, throwing her arms into the air. "I'm soooo happy right now." she admitted, hiccuping again. "C'mon!!! Let's party! Let's dance!" she rolled off the couch and slammed her head onto the floor. But...she was so dizzy she didn't mind. It didn't really hurt.

A quiet night's drinking under the Whomping Willow had turned into something much more. Finishing up his fourth bottle, Levi happily followed Tobie into the Room of Requirement. He wasn't sure when it had turned from a quiet drink into a complete drunken state, and right at that moment he didn't care, he was happy, and a little tipsy. He'd never been a lightweight when it came to drinking and knew he could handle at least one more bottle before he hit the drunk phase of the night.
He paid no attention to the contents of the room except the cupboard against one wall which was stocked with bottles of Firewhiskey. He laughed at the sight of Tobie rolling around on the floor. "Tobie, you're spilling it everywhere! Stop wasting it!" He laughed heartily, grabbing two bottles from the cupboard and uncapping one of them before taking a large glug from the bottle. As she asserted that she needed more to drink Levi moved over to the couch and sat beside her, handing her the unopened bottle.
As Tobie rolled off the couch Levi laughed again, but slid to the floor beside her, still smiling. He reached out a had to where she'd hit her head, "You silly girl." He laughed, taking another drink form his bottle. "If we're going to dance we need music." He mused before spotting the stereo sitting on top of the cupboard containing the drinks, he scrambled to his feet and turned on the music, he didn't care what the song was just that it had a decent beat. "Come on darling." He called to Tobie as he started dancing randomly while drinking from his bottle.

Tobie giggled, pleased as Levi followed her loyally. It was times like these when she was glad she had a friend like this. The two were infamous for their amazing and wild parties held in this room, complete with liquor and blaring music. People would beg for an invitation to such an event, which put Leviticus and October on top popularity-wise. People loved a good party, even if they got shit-faced and often times they raged out of control.
October grinned as Levi grabbed her another drink and cranked up the volume on the stereo. She grinned, springing up and approaching Levi while taking a swig of her drink. She dropped the half-finished bottle onto the ground, giggling as she watched the lquid spill onto the carpet. She gripped Levi's shoulders, pressing her forehead to his, sticking her tongue out at him. "Oh dear...I've seemed to have spilled my drink," she giggled, swaying and then leaning dangerously on him. "Can I borrow some of yours?" she asked, leaning forward, pressing her lips to his as she tried to steal as much liquor from his lips as possible. "Yummy," she hiccupped, nearly falling again before falling onto the couch. It wasn't as if she and Levi hadn't kissed eachother before. Many drunken nights had led to drawn-out makeout sessions, some of which forgotten by one or both of them by the next morning.

Levi watched Tobie as she made her way over to him, a smile on his lips, as it usually was when he was around his best friend. He laughed and shook his head a little as she dropped her bottle to the ground, hating the waste of the precious alcohol but unable to move as Tobie's hands found his shoulders and their foreheads met, his eyes fixed on hers as she giggled.
It didn't really bother him when she pressed her lips to his, it wasn't the first time, and he was sure it wouldn't be the last either. He laughed as she fell onto the couch. The alchol was starting to take effect now and he swayed ever so slightly as he moved towards the couch on which Tobie was now situated. As he moved he finished off his bottle, discarding it uncaringly on the floor.
"I appear to have run out Tobie dearest." He laughed as he sat next to her on the couch, "I think I need some of that drink you borrowed back." He smirked as his lips found hers, his tongue briefly running over her bottom lip, collecting a single drop of liquid that rested there, before he pulled away,

Tobie's head continued to spin from the consistant abuse of the alchohol; things continued to looked blurred as she moved around, unable to keep her mind centered. She grinned devilishly as Levi sat beside her, frowning deeply at his words. "Excuse me, but i follow the 'finders keepers' rule!" she snorted, though didnt protest as Levi pressed his lips to her's again. The feeling of his tongue across her lip added to the high she was feeling, and she couldn't help but pout as he withdrew. "Mmm, that's not fair. I think I'll just have to 'borrow' it back!" she smirked, kissing him once more and wrapping her arms around his neck. She bit down on his bottom lip, and her hand buried itself within his hair.
Deepening the kiss, her tongue slipped into his mouth, the tip flicking playfully at the piercing that resided on Levi's. After several long moments she broke the kiss, pressing her forehead to her friend's once more. "Mmm, Aiden isn't nearly as fun to kiss," she giggled, cheeks flushing as she began to brush her lips along Levi's neck, nipping at the skin playfully while lowering him down onto the couch. Now in the position of control, Tobie yanked on Levi's hair gently, as if begging him to do something about it.
"This is new," she smirked, in reference to the position they were both in now. "I kinda like it," she snickered, tilting her head down with a smile. She used her free hand to pull her long, dark locks over one of her shoulders before sliding it onto Levi's cheek, allowing her face to hover dauntingly close to her friend's. "Your move," she added with a wink.

Levi raised an eyebrow as Tobie smirked at him, but couldn't stop his arms wrapping around her waist as she kissed him and wrapped her arms around his neck. He was more than happy to return the kiss, his tongue moving slowly with hers as she deepened the kiss. He looked into her eyes as she pulled away and rested her forehead against his. He knew, when she mentioned Aiden, that he should stop. The small voice of his conscience was telling him to stop, but he wouldn't, he couldn't.
His eyes closed without his permission and he felt her lips and teeth along his neck. As she lowered him back onto the couch his arms moved from her waist to her hips, his hands holding onto them. His eyes flashed open as she tugged on his hair, a small smile on his lips. The smile turned into a smirk as she slid a hand to his cheek and almost issued a challenge.
Leaning his head up he captured her lips with his as he shifted his weight, pulling her hips closer to his with one hand as the other moved into her hair, as he turned them over on the couch so he was hovering over her. The hand that was on her hip gliding up the side of her body, before resting beside her head, holding his weight off of her.
"Now this is much better." He grinned as he pulled his lips away from hers, "Don't you agree?" He asked arching an eyebrow.

October began to feel a nagging sensation that was pulling at her thoughts, and was trying her best to push it away. She knew she had a boyfriend. She knew she loved him. She knew that for Levi this would be nothing more than a quick fuck and in the morning it would be meaningless, but somehow she just didn't care anymore. She was so sick of the mourning and of the guilt that raged through her system because of Avery. She was ready to have some of her own fun...and didn't mind who she pushed out of the way to get there. No one had to know about this night besides her and Leviticus; if they even remembered what happened, anyway. They were both incredibly drunk and perhaps dangerously so.
The two friends had always been notorious for sneaking off together, though nothing ever passed the heavy kissing. They never needed it to go any farther; usually by the time they were finished they had had their full of heat for the night and returned back to the Common Room or their dorms. They were each other's comforters, whether their kissing was to help the other forget about something or simply to fill a gaping feeling of want in their chests, they continued to carry on as friends with benefits. The key word, of course, was friends. Levi and Tobie had always been friends. They had clicked from day one; from the moment they met on the train until now. After seven years, the camaraderie hadn't faltered, not once.
Again a rush of adrenaline swam thorugh Tobie's veins as the pair swapped positions. She felt herself lean into Levi's touch, enjoying the sensations it brought her. His hand in her hair made shivers twist and twirl down her spin, coloring her senses. As he spoke, she felt herself look away shyly. "I do agree," she smiled, looking up at him with eyes that matched the color of his own. "I have a feeling that we're getting ourseleves into a world of trouble..." she added, running her hands down his back to play with the lower hem of his shirt. "But I don't really care anymore." she finished, throwing all common sense out the window at this point. She offered him a playful look before leaning up to kiss him once more, all thoughts of Aiden leaving her head.

Looking down at his best friend Levi couldn't help but smile, yes this situation was a little different than the ones they usually got themselves into, but he wasn't about to say he'd regret anything that happened tonight. He just hoped Tobie wouldn't either, she knew him, better than he knew himself sometimes, she knew that sex meant very little to him, no matter who the person was. The fact that he cared about her was what had stopped him for the past seven years, yes they had made out, but he never let it go any further than that, he didn't want to risk their friendship. But tonight was different.
His thoughts were confirmed as she spoke, his back arching into her slightly as her hands ran down his back to the hem of his shirt. As she leaned up to kiss him he smiled and crashed his lips on to hers, his tongue finding its way into her mouth as he deepened the kiss, the hand in her hair fisting into the dark locks slightly before letting go and brushing over the back of her neck and down the side of it before running gently over her collarbone.

Maybe it was the alchohol. Maybe it was the setting. Maybe it was the fact that the pair were reckless idiots...but Tobie couldn't help but feel the tiniest spark of an emotion that wasn't of lust or of drunkeness. Perhaps it was just the power of suggestion that was toying with her thoughts...but October knew that feelings were feelings. And if she wasn't mistaken, the feeling that plagued her was a strong one. It was love.
It was a different kind of love, though. One she hadn't felt before. Maybe it was more of a strong bond...more of a loyalty than anything else. No, she knew she didn't want to have sleep with Levi because she loved him. She wanted to sleep with him because it would be fun. However, she could help but experience a tiny bit of a melting feeling in her chest when Levi kissed her. It hadn't been one of those passion-filled kisses that she and Aiden shared. No. It was more of an aggressive touch that made her long for more. A soft, pleased sigh escaped her lips between kisses before she slipped her hands under his shirt, knowing the move was risky and she was traveling into uncharted territory. But for now it was time to test the waters. To see if Levi was interested.

As Tobie's hand slid under his shirt Levi pulled away from her mouth, his breathing a little ragged, he looked into her eyes for a moment
before smiling and moving his lips to her neck, his teeth nipped lightly at the skin. The hand that had been tracing over her collarbone slid down her side once more, reaching her hip, his fingers slid under the fabric of her shirt as he took hold of her hip, his fingers splayed out across her skin.
This was different for Levi, not what they were doing, no, that definitely wasn't new to him. But the emotions it was evoking were. He'd always loved Tobie, as a friend of course, and he still felt that way, but it was slightly disconcerting since he knew that this could very well change things between them, and he didn't want that. He knew if Aiden found out he'd be upset but Levi couldn't bring himself to care about the other boy. It wasn't the first time he'd messed around with a girl who had a boyfriend. But this was Tobie, this was different and he didn't know why.

A harsh, longing feeling hit Tobie like a tidal wave. She was addicted to this feeling, this rush Levi was able to supply to her. He was the dealer, she was the junkie. And boy oh boy she had never been so content to submit to someone in her life. A dark, foggy sensation clouded her ability to make the right decisions. The hot, steamy kiss was long and began to drag out, though Tobie didn't mind. She was under Levi's control...and for once, the feeling of powerlessness wasn't one she protested to.
She kisses peppered across her neck were like kryptonite. Her entire formed curled slightly under each press of the lips, and the softest of moans escaped her lips. "That feels really good..." she murmured. closing her eyes momentarily. She then smirked, sliding down under him and pulling his shirt up. Once most of his stomach was exposed, she began to kiss the flesh, occasionally alternating and nipping him or sucking a section until the surrounding area bruised. All the while, her fingertips grazed his back.
"This is getting fun," she laughed when she finished, moving on to his collarbone, kissing up his neck, along his jaw line until their lips met again. "You seem to know how to make me feel good," she added, looking into his eyes with a unique fondness for several moments before breaking the stare. She knew she couldn't emotionally involve herself with this, otherwise she'd be hurt. She knew this was a meaningless act. But deep down...she didn't want it to be. She wanted it to be something more than a drunken mistake.

"Good." Levi breathed across the flesh he had just nipped with his teeth as Tobie spoke, his lips still brushing across her skin. As she slid further beneath him he looked confused for a moment but that thought quickly disappeared as he felt her lips on his stomach, making the muscles clench slightly.
He smiled at her as she spoke and nodded, "It is." His voice was slightly breathy, "Ditto." He smiled as she said he knew how to make her feel good. He looked back into her eyes, but once she looked away he closed his eyes, wishing away all the emotions that were being dragged up inside him. This was supposed to be simple, just like it always was, but it wasn't there was something else there, and he'd seen the look in her eyes just moments before.
He needed to distract himself, so he pressed his lips back to hers, his hand running back up her side, but this time under her shirt. His fingers skimmed across her stomach lightly as he deepened the kiss.

So many things could go wrong because of this situation. Besides the fact that the pair were both drunk, emotions were beginning to invade Tobie's subconscience. Blue eyes faded to dark brown at the thought of the two just hooking up and forgetting about it in a week. For whatever reason, she wanted Levi to remember this. Remember that he had spent a night with her, and not just any other girl. Kissing her friend back, she managed to contribute somewhat of a rough edge in order to pick things up a bit. To help her forget all those stupid emotions that were going to interfere with what the two planned on doing.
Inhaling deeply as she felt his cool hand against her skin, she then sat up and swapped positions quickly so she was above him again. Avoiding Levi's eyes she was determined to distract herself and pressed her lips to Levi's neck, occasionally biting the skin. She felt her breathing become a little heavier while her fear grew stronger. She...she didn't want to do this anymore. Not if it meant nothing. She pulled away and tilted her head down, biting her lip and closing her eyes.
Sucking in a breath, Tobie felt tears sting her eyes and she stood up, hugging herself and turning away from him. "I...I can't. Not if it's...meaningless," she whispered, running a finger under her eyes to grab tears. "Levi..." she glanced over her shoulder before placing a hand over her mouth, closing her eyes and letting out a choked sob. All those emotions...all those hidden feelings...they were beginning to surface.

It's just another girl, just another girl.
His brain, the whorish, unfeeling part of his brain, was reciting that mantra, over and over and over again.
It's Tobie.
The sensible, human part of his brain was screaming at him. Drowning out the other voice.
This couldn't be some quick fuck. He couldn't do that to his best friend. But he didn't know what else to do. This was all he knew how to do. It had never meant anything, but then again none of the girls, or guys, had ever meant anything to him either. But Tobie, Tobie meant a lot to him, and he just couldn't risk hurting her.
As she switched their positions he didn't miss the fact that she didn't meet his eyes. He knew she was over thinking it, just like he was. Something had to give, one of them was going to stop it, but it wouldn't be him. He just couldn't, it's not who he was. So silently he was begging her to stop, to tell him no.
Almost as if she could hear his thoughts she was gone. Stood up with her back to him. He closed his eyes as she spoke, he didn't to see her face to know she was crying. And just before she spoke again he was stood up, his arms wrapping around her waist as she said his name. This was it, he had to explain.
"Shh, Tobie. Don't cry." He said softly, pulling her hair out of the way so he could rest his chin on her shoulder. "I know you know me too well. You know my track record, and honestly it's appalling. But if you think that could ever be you...that it would mean nothing to me, then you don't know me at all." His voice was soft and as he finished speaking his lips brushed against her neck. "You're the most important person in my life Tobie."
It was true, she was the most important person to him, she knew practically everything about him and still put up with him. That was all he could give her though. Leviticus Blessing didn't admit to loving people, even in a purely platonic way.

A deep, hollow feeling was now beginning to replace the cavity where Tobie's heart had been. Slowly she was losing everyone she held dear...losing everything that mattered. IT had started with her mother, and now everybody else was following her death like a domino effect. When was it going to end? When was this horrible, terrible feeling of loss going to disappear? And...if not disappear, when will it lessen? That's all she wanted... something to numb the pain. And for awhile, Levi was her escape. She could take out all her sadness, her anger, on him and he wouldn't protest. How many times had she cried in front of him, how many times had she kissed him, and it meant absolutely nothing? He was someone who stopped the bleeding, and took the edge off the pain that seemed to surround her everyday life. Levi...Levi...Levi...
She pulled away from his touch slightly, though adjusted and allowed him to lean against her. She tried to keep a stone face as he touched her hair, whispered lovely things to her. It hadn't been the first time that he had played with her hair or comforted her but this time it was oddly different. Instead of passing through her, the words seemed to stick. She continued to cry, unable to put a stop the emotions that were spilling over and manifesting in the form of tears. October glanced at Levi, eyes the color of washed-out, gray linen. "Y-you don't c-care about any of th-the others..." she started, tone breathy. "It d-doesn't matter if I'm important!" although an overwhelming feeling of sadness had overcome Tobie, those slight feelings of frustration seeped through her words. "It d-doesn't m-matter...nothing matters..." she looked away, eyes showing that empty feeling she had been hiding for so long. She no longer felt like a human being...she felt like a skeleton.
She turned to face Levi, kissing him gently. One of her hands was placed on the back of his neck, the other lightly on his cheek. The kiss was much more than an act of lust, but rather just held every bittersweet emotion that ran through her veins. It was meaningful, and even Tobie was surprised on the effect it had on her as she pulled away. "And to you...that meant nothing." she said coldly, walking away from him. She grabbed the doorknob that would lead to the outside world but didn't turn it. She simply stood there, feeling the cool metal against her warm skin. Her head was hanging and her grip on the knob tightened. She wanted to leave...yet she wanted to stay. Inside she was battling herself; sense vs. instinct. She was hopelessly lost, drowning in an ocean full of so many problems, so many storms to toss the waters.
