Teddy Lupin was like any young child a Christmas, no matter how old the boy was. The Weasley kids and other family members and honorary family members had decided to spend their Christmas at Hogwarts this year, since it was many of their last years at the school. Although Molly Weasley and the other mothers protested, they understood why this was so important to them and promised to send all their gifts for Christmas, telling them that they would be expect letters to hear how each gift was fabulous. He knew some people wanted to return home to the Burrow for their Christmas, but knowing that this was their last year at Hogwarts or that their older siblings wouldn't be returning back to the Burrow with them made them make the decision to stay. He was currently dreaming of everything possible as the day loomed ahead.
There was only the Weasley's, Potters's, a Lupin and a Lestrange left in Gryffindor Common Room this year, which was a little odd, but at the same time very nice. Like their own Christmas away from home. The place was decorated sometime during the night, gifts had appeared under the trees and at the ends of beds. From the window, you could see the light snowfall that was covering the grounds. It certainly wasn't going to be a green Christmas at Hogwarts. It was at the moment that the sun rose a little higher and cascaded down the face of the sleeping Teddy. His eyes clenched together and groaned, turning away from the bright light. God damned sun, waking him up so bloody early on a.. wait what day was it? He only had to think for five seconds before it registered in his brain. Today was Christmas Day. A wide smile grew on Ted's face as he sat up in bed. He looked at the bottom of his bed, and sure enough a package that looked oddly like a famous Weasley sweater laid at the bottom. Ted jumped out of bed and desperately looked for a pair of wool socks.
One he found them and slipped them on, he grabbed the package at the end of his bed and unwrapped it, finding a green sweatshirt with the letter 'T' on it. Ted smiled and pulled it over his grey t-shirt. He chuckled, now realizing that he was wearing red and green without even trying. He beamed, running at hand through his hair, changing it from mousy brown to red with green highlights. He had it down after years of work, every I've minutes or so it would change from red with green highlights to green with red highlights. He stepped inbetween his two best friends beds, wondering who he should wake first. A mischievous grin grew on his face as he chose his brother, James. He crouched down so that his mouth was right by James's ear and took in a deep breath before shouting "MERRY CHRISTMAS!" Before James could attack him, Ted ran to his trunk and grabbed his gift for Rosie that he had gotten the other day and ran down the stairs into the Common Room. Yep, this was definitely going to be a Christmas to remember.
