Hearing a shout, Corliss slowly got up off her lazy rump and freshened up. As if she needed it. She was in a state of sadness. No one had asked her to the ball. It was wearing her down. Being a Malfoy, she felt the need and want to have the perfect date.
Corliss made her way down the staircase. The Slytherin saw Charlotte and knew better than to ignore her. "Hello Charlotte." she said with a smile. Her slate blue eyes looked art the twins. 'Bloody Hell.' she thought. The Twins were always bickering and it got on her nerves. It isn't that she doesn't like them, it is that they irk her at times. She forced a smile on her pretty face. "Hello to you two."she said semi-sweetly.
Her lips parted to say something else, but she thought it better to keep her mouth shut. She wanted to stay on her Captain's 'good side' until the up coming match. Her snide remark of, 'I think that she should have to sit out a match.' would probably get herself taken out. That would be no good. She felt the urge to say it, but, being the 'good girl' she is, she kept quiet. She had a feeling that the Twins would tell on her for being rude.
"Have you girls found dates to the ball yet?" she asked. She knew Scorpius would ask Charlotte but had no idea what she would say. She mainly wanted to know if the Twins had found dates faster than she had. That ticked Corliss off at the thought of the Twins being better than her.
