Louise Wynonna McGooken

Sixteen
Year:
Sixth
Blood:
Muggle-born
House:
Hufflepuff
Celebrity:

Looks :
Utterly challenged in the height department and a little on the hefty side when it comes to body type, Lou's always been happy with what she's got. Curves that would make an hourglass jealous are nothing to be ashamed of.
The Hufflepuff girl could be considered pretty, if one was being considerably generous with their ruling on any particular day; however, people have a greater tendency to call her cute, something for which she's always held a grudge against her face for. Sun freckles generously dust the bridge of her nose as well as the apples of her cheeks. Laughing, creamy brown eyes and a dazzlingly darling grin are two things that complete the vivaciously lively look of this particular sixteen year old.
Her thick russet locks have just a tinge of red in them, if one looks at them in the right light with just enough squint in their eyes to make it hazy. She cuts her hair herself, as she's never really had enough money for a stylist, but she likes it that way. In fact, she'd rather be roughin' it than be pampered beyond belief.
Lou is known for her tendency to trip over anything unstable, including air, although she's also notorious for falling all over stable things as well. She has a bounce in her step and is usually too distracted to see where she's going. A lot of people have been injured because of this simple fact.

Personality:
Blissfully optimistic and forever a jolly prescence, Lou could give you a run for your money when it comes to being happy. A lively, bubbly Huffle on all accounts, she's a peaceful girl with a non-existent temper and a fear of confrontation.
A very open person to say the least, she's been called an airhead by many a spiteful Slytherin. This is probably because she's probably the dullest crayon in the coloring box. She has a bad habit of naming practically everything she comes into contact with; a trait that doesn't exactly present her as very smart to most people. Rather easy to distract, she's never been terribly intelligent and would probably have been deemed a Squib long ago were it not for her obvious talent in the field of Herbology.
Lou is an excessively clumsy girl. Being a klutz is probably also the reason for her inability to do proper magic without seriously damaging herself or other people. She's easily confused, and has a terrible memory for anything other than the lyrics to her favorite indie music.

History:
Lou knows that she was never wanted as a baby. Her mother left her on the doorstep of the orphanage mere hours after she was born. But that doesn't really phase her. Nothing can ever wipe that smile off her face. She's learned over the years to be happy for what she has. After all, it's not everyday that one meets someone as lucky as she was.
After all, her mother could've had an abortion. It's completely possible that the woman could've simply killed the child and be done with it. But she didn't. She let Lou live, and, in doing that, unintentionally unleashed upon the world perhaps the happiest, most enthusiastic and grateful girl that would ever walk the planet.
For starters, one must be pretty optimistic to live their first eleven years in an orphanage. And that's exactly what Lou was. She spent her time making up games to play with herself and the other children. She never made many friends. All those she met were adopted sooner or later. At least, all the amiable kids that one would usually find to be good friends. But Lou went farther than that. She made friends with the sulky kids who never got adopted. She, herself, often acted too strange around possible parents. They never wanted her. But, she considered that a blessing. After all, it let her stay in her beloved orphanage and hopefully shine a light into the lives of all the kids who never got adopted.
She thought that perhaps that was her purpose. To brighten up others lives. She still enjoys that, even to this very day, as she rounds upon coming of age. Naturally, she received her Hogwarts letter on the eve of her eleventh birthday. Although she did have a tad bit of a magical spark in her, she was more a Muggle than anything, and would, later in her life, be deemed one, rather than the Witch that the Hogwarts Headmaster had believed her to be. Oh well.
