The Basics
Name: Celeste Michelle Poynter
Age: 15
Year: Fifth
Blood: Half-Blood
House: Hufflepuff
Appearance
Image:
Celebrity: Hayley Williams
Looks: At five foot two, and only weighing nintey three pounds, Celeste is tiny to the extreme. Her brother calls her Shrimpy, and her mother calls her Tiny, and the list goes on and on. But, young Miss Poynter isn't unhappy with her stature. Shorter people supposedly live longer, or so says muggle scientists, and when you are that small, you can crawl in small spaces where no one can find you when you wish to escape from the world. She isn't scary thin, though. If she wears a bikini, you can see her hips poke out a bit, but ou cannot count her rib bones like you can on so many of the female students these days. Unlike them, she actually eats. Her metabolism is just unusually fast.
Covering her small skeletal structure is skin thats a little on the pale side during the winter, but also tans very well come summer time. Celeste never burns, only tans, except for on her nose, which does burn a little too easily.
Sitting on a neck that is a bit too short, is a an oval-shaped face, framed by her short-'n-straight insanely orange hair. Celeste's round eyes are a peculiar cross between yellow and brown, and are the only thing she really dislikes about her body. They sit just about a cute, round, childish nose, that is bright pink come summer time. A short forehead and small lips give her a rather chibi-like appearance, and the bright-coloured eye shadow she always wears simply adds to it.
Her choice of clothing is always incredibly random, because Celeste has the habit of walking into a store, and grabbing the first brightly coloured outfit she can find, which sometimes ends up being a guy's shirt

Likes:
[x] Novels- Any novel she can get her hands on, Celeste loves. She loves the fact that a good book can take her to far away places without leaving the comfort of home.
[x] Hufflepuffs- What is a witch without a little house pride? So many people are embarrassed by their being placed into the Badger’s house, but Celeste is proud of who she is.
[x] Poetry- Since the age of four, Celeste has been writing poems. Putting thoughts to paper has always made her feel better, and poetry requires little thought or effort on her part.
[x] Diving- Her mother had gotten her into diving when she was about six years old, and the Huffler loved it ever since. Every summer she joins the local public pool’s diving team, even if she doesn’t practice much throughout the school year.
[x] Making New Friends- Some people say that Celeste is overly friendly, but she doesn’t see it that way. Anyone she meets has the potential to be a pal, and the more pals ya got, the happier life can be.
[x] Bats- Most girlish girls would shriek at the sight of a bat, but they are Celeste’s favorite animal. She finds them to be cute, and intelligent, not the ugly beasts so many think them to be.
[x] The Colour Orange- Orange is bright, curious, and fun, much like Celeste herself. Maybe for this reason it is her favorite colour, and would explain her addiction to dying her hair this fiery shade.
[x] Astronomy- Searching the stars, and trying to figure out the mysteries of the universe. Celeste has always had a knack for astronomy. She can read constellations with ease, and dreams of discovering her own comet or constellation.
[x] Potions- It’s rather rare for anyone to enjoy Potions, let alone a Hufflepuff, but this fifth year has no problems with it. It’s secretly one of her favorite classes, though she would never tell her friends that.
[x] The Drums- One of Celeste's not-so-secret talents is playing the drums, and unlike many drummers, who improvise and don't really know how to play, Celeste considers herself a bit of a master.
[x]Heavy Metal/Death Metal- She's just weird like that, and isn't afraid to admit it. When you look at her tiny frame and childish joys, you wouldn't expect her to like aggressive music, but her brother got her hooked.
Dislikes:
[x] Kill-Joys- When life is a party, there is nothing worse than people who try and bring you down.
[x] Defense Against the Dark Arts- Though she excels at Potions and Astronomy, Celeste just can’t seem to perform even the most basic of shielding spells. The only thing she can manage is a simple Patronus, in the shape of a bat.
[x] Spiders- It’s a common enough fear to keep her from being ridiculed, but Celeste is terrified stiff of spiders. She cannot sleep if she knows even the tiniest one is in her room. If one wishes to get payback or something of the sort, placing a spider in her bed would be the way to go.
[x] Blast-Ended Skrewts- The crab-like little beasts are just plain weird. She isn’t afraid of them, per say, but they have to be one of the most odd things on earth. They shoot fire out of their bums for crying out loud!
[x] Shoes- They’re helpful and all when walking on thorns or something of the like, but Celeste isn’t particularly fond of them. She has received multiple detentions for not wearing shoes. Who made that stupid rule anyway?
[x] Quiet- It is yet another of Celeste's peculiar phobias, and slightly ironic, because she reads alot, and usually that requires some degress of silence, but she cannot stand it. Even on a relaxing night reading in the Common Room, Celeste most likely has her headphones blastign heavy metal.

[x] Good Reader
[x] Making Friends
[x] Musical
Weaknesses:
[x] Sob Stories
[x] Hurt Animals
[x] Naive
[x] Oblivious
[x] Unathletic
Fears:
[x] Spiders
[x] Rejection
[x] Public Humiliation
[x] Drowning
[x] Death by Torture
Flaws:
[x] Too Easily Trusting
[x] Cannot Lie
[x] Can Be Too Loud At Times
A secret your character has never revealed:
Celeste’s father, Liam, was a Death Eater
Over All Personality:
At a glance, Celeste is the typical little girl who has had nothing bad happen to her. Which, by chance, she is. She is unlike so many of the guarded, cautious students who now inhabit Hogwarts. She laughs at what she finds funny, and cries at what she finds sad. She is very open, and is both extremely trusting and trustworthy. Not a secret she has been told passed her lips, and for this, she expects others to do the same. Many find Celeste slightly annoying because of her happy-go-lucky nature, though the childish fifteen year-old girl remains rather oblivious to this fact. And that is the beauty of ignorance. Utter bliss.
Cheerful, and optimistic, her friends tends to go to Celeste when they need cheering up. She seems to radiate a positive aura, and because of her appearance of helplessness, people fine her unthreatening, allowing themselves to open up to the girl just a tad more than they would if she were stronger, or taller. Her quick, kind smile adds to this friendly appeal, along with her ability to sympathize easily.
But, Celeste is a coward. she frightens easily, and at the smallest of things. She is unfit to be part of either order, and does her best to remain neutral. She does not cry when frightened, like so many other typical 'damsels in distress' but instead become paralyzed with fear, and becomes utterly unhelpful.
She is very childish, as well, with a child-like sense of innocence. She would rather draw with chalk, or play tag than kiss a boy or care about the latest fashions. She'd rather go swimming in the lake than worry about her hair getting wet. She almost never wears shoes. But, that's just who she is.
Celeste loves to shock people with her amazing randomness. She is so peculiar, that it's rather difficult to predict anything about her, yet this is harmless in its own. She isn't into cruel jokes or pranks, only the simple ones like whipped cream on the hand and tickling your face when you are asleep, or the childish 'bunny ears.'
History
Parents:
Liam Christopher Poynter, Father, 45, Deceased, Slytherin
Gwendolyn Ann Welsh, Mother, 41, Art Teacher, Gryffindor
Siblings:
Sebastian Arthur Poynter, Brother, 18, Slytherin
Family History:
Liam Poynter- Liam was born on January Seventeenth, to a very proud family of Ravenclaws who could supposedly trace their beginnings to Rowena Ravenclaw herself. He was born from wedlock, though his family preferred this to his mother marrying the man who was his father. Rumor had it, he was a Dark Wizard, and practiced powerful forbidden magic.
Liam's childhood was of no event. He showed magical talent at the age of five, confirming that his mother had not produced a squib, and because of his smarts, and creativity, he was expected to carry on the Ravenclaw tradition when he began to attend Hogwarts.
This was not the case, however, and the hat declared Slytherin, much to Liam's joy. He hated his stuck-up, know-it-all family, anyway. He quickly fell in with the Slytherin crowd, and became a true one of them, cunning and cruel.
Liam met his father for the first time when he was fourteen, and utterly admired the man who helped create him. His father was who had helped Liam join the ranks of death eaters. He wasn’t the most accomplished Death Eater, but he seemed to enjoy the power it gave him.
He had never really enjoyed the company of his future wife, who was only a fourth year when he graduated, but he became quickly enamored with her after she graduated and they re-met at a Muggle art show, where Gwendolyn’s works were being showcased. The two fell in love, in a very cliché manner.
When Liam found out she was Muggle born, the two were already married with a two year old son, and an unborn baby girl. He tired to quit the Death eater ranks, and was murdered by Fenrir Greyback on his way home from work one day.
Gwendolyn Welsh- Gwen was born on a sunny July Twenty-Ninth
