This is a CRUCIAL part of the plot. Please read this before applying:
The New Order was reformed to prevent the DE from gaining control of Hogwarts and the Wizarding World. The ideas are similar to that of the original Order of the Phoenix and Dumbledore’s Army rolled into one. Defense is the key to tackling the dark arts and the order students instruct the new recruits in how best to perform the jinxes and charms. Dueling is also a regular part of the meeting, all members practicing both verbal and non-verbal spells. However, the basics must be mastered first. There is no initiation ceremony, the only requirement is that you must be willing to fight for what you believe in. With rumours circulating that the DE are planning an attack on the New Order with the intention of gaining control of one of the members, many younger recruits have left in fright, leaving the older students to hold the fort. The leader of the New Order, James Potter, instructs the best way in which to carry out and practice spells along with his second in command, -available-. -available- is the one who formulates the actual plans whilst keeping a watch on James making sure he doesn’t rush in without thinking of the consequences. Plans and tactics including how to guess what the DE will do and prevent it before they occur, are often formulated at the last minute. The enchanted galleons still remain and have now turned into a way of communicating across the school, thanks to a difficult charm by one of the seventh years. Well aware of the fact that history may repeat itself, the New Order try to anticipate their opponents next move. However, being in the minority, it is truly acknowledged that the rebellion has begun once again.
