Academy. St. Luke’s is smaller but just as well off in matters of education
and training. Times have been tough. With Strigoi attacks on the rise,
parents are nervous and students are anxious to learn how to fight back.
A few teachers are willing to teach the high-school-leaveled Moroi how
to defend themselves. But others are still unsure of what to do, hoping for
more Dhampir to step up. But the students have other plans; forming
‘study groups’ in which they spend their time digging for information
and learning new skills. Then there are those who are simply trying to rat
out the others; too haughty to get down and dirty with their soon-to-be
Dhampir protectors.
