Mkay, here's a quick Mary Sue quiz I made last night that'll fit our forum better then the one I pulled from offline. It isn't finished yet...but feel free to test it. Please post your results below!!!

1. Is your character's name--
a) A word that is not normally a name, like a Month name, day of the week, etc? (+1)
b) A name normally used for the opposite sex? (+2)
c) Not the name they go by (They have a nickname that doesn't relate to their actual name) (+3)
2. Is your character an OC that is--
a) A sibling of a cannon (+1)
b) A son/daughter of a cannon? (+2)
c) Way too old/young to make sense in the roleplay? (For example, you are the son/daughter of a much older character who died and would have had you earlier then Harry and Ginny had kids etc) (+3)
(( Additional point if your one or both of your character's parents are characters that wouldn't have children such as Dumbledore, Snape, Sirius Black, etc. ))
(( Additional two points if your parents are an "odd pairing" ))
3. Was your character--
a) Abused as a child? (+1)
b) Neglected as a child? (+2)
c) Concieved in an unusual way (Which includes if the parents are an odd pairing)? (+3)
4. Is your character--
a) Always nice and helpful? (+1)
b) Always mean and a baddy? (+2)
c) A stereotypical person of your House? (I.e; A mean Slytherin, a Friendly Gryffindor, etc) (+3)
5. Does your character have any special magical abilities?
a) Yes, but it's genetic (+1)
b) Yes, they have one (+2)
3) Yes, two or more (+3)
6. How is your character in relation with Canons and/or characters who are key to the plot?
a) They have no idea who they are. (+1)
b) They're best friends/friendly with eachother, or they hate eachother (+2)
c) They're in love (+3)
7. How many times have you used the word "perfect," "handsome," or "beautiful" in your application? (Skip if it does not apply)
a) One or two times... (+1)
b) Three or four times... (+2)
c) Five times or more (+3)
8. Is your character related to any sort of magical creature?
a) Yes, but my character's a canon character (+1)
b) Yes, but it's not that important. (+2)
c) Yes, and a couple of times I've mentioned it and use it to my advantage during the roleplay. (+3)
9. Is your character like you at all?
a) No, not really. (+1)
b) Yea, a bit (+2)
c) Yea, we're pretty alike. (+3)
10. How's your character's life at home?
a) Fine. Nothing to complain about. (+1)
b) It's ok...their parents don't get them though. (+2)
c) It's awful... (+3)
(( Add another point for every family member your character has lost, unless you're canon ))
Also, add aditional points IF:
- Your character has had sex in school (+1)
- Your character has ever been raped (+2)
- Your character has ever been pregnant (+3)
- Your character is part Veela (+3)
