A bright smile spread across Kota's face, as he walked into the Slytherin Common Room. He had just mumbled the password, and slid into the room, seconds before. His eyes twinkled brightly, as he looked into the bright fire. It was a little bit past midnight, and his hair was wet from his late night swim in the Black Lake. He plopped down on the emerald green sofa, and kicked his shoes off softly. They thudded against the floor lightly, and Kota hoped that it wouldn't wake anyone. He doubted it would though.
Kota streched himself out on the sofa, letting his eyes drop slowly. No, he was not tired, nor did he care to go to sleep considering he was going to sleep 'til noon tomorrow anyways. It was Saturday so he didn't see the reason to wake up early. 'If someone wakes me up in the morning, I'm going to punch them so hard...' He thought to himself semi distracted. He then sighed softly, feeling relaxed.
Dakotah's eyes flashed open once more, as he heard a soft crackle coming from the fire. He turned on his side, still staring deeply into the fire's red, and orange colors. He could feel the heat coming from the fire, as it warmed him up. He was still shivering from the ice cold water in the Black Lake. How could people stand that? It was so bone chilling that he could only swim for a couple minutes, before he had to jump out of it's depth.
Kota then laughed softly as he remembered how the ice cold water in the Lake had made him gasp. He must have looked like a God darn fool while he threw his head back, looking at the stars. He had been shivering, all the way while he dived into the darkness of the Lake. Then he had lost his breath, and had to swim back up to the top of the water. He was surprised by how long he had actually stayed in the water. Normally he would have stuck his toe in, and put his pants, and shirt back on. He hated the cold, and was very happy as he continued to feel the warmth of the fire. He sighed once more, feeling his toes un-freeze.
