Nikita entered the deserte Owlery, and the owls above became unsettled, with the noise that Nikita brought. She tippy toed farther inside closing the door behind her. All of a sudden a raven black owl swept down, and landed softly on Nikita's shoulder. Nikita turned to look at the owl. She smiled, and spoke to the owl softly, "Hey Severus, how are ya baby?" Yes, Nikita spoke to her owl, that was named after her father. Is that so weird? Nikita petted the top of the owls black head, and then began walking towards the window. She peered out into the midnight sky. The thousands of stars, and the silver moon light seemed to shine down only on Nikita. Nikita's eyes were now so beautiful, that if anyone looked into them, it would seem as if they wer paralyzed. Nikita's eyes usually did this at night time. She didn't know why though. The light just seemed to affect them. Nikita pulled a peice of parchment out of her pocket, and began to read over it once more. She wanted to make sure she came to the right place at the right time. Her eyes ran across the page scanning it quickly, and surely.
'Dear Nikita, I've missed you so much, and I can't wait to see you again. I told you I would send you a letter, didn't I? I kept my promise. Please meet me in the Owlery, at midnight. Can you do that? I hope i see you then. Love, Craig.'
Nikita smiled, and then stuffed the letter back into her pocket. She had come to the right place at the right time. Now all she had to do was wait. She knew he would show up, since of course he was the one that made the plan to meet here. Nikita looked back out the window, thinking of what tonight might possibly bring. She couldn't wait to see him. Her heart thudded up against her chest heavily. Then butterflies erupted in her stomach once more.
