Well, if you haven't noticed, there's a new board righting under this, called the Spotlight Award Center. This is where the nominations and the voting will take place for the Of The Month spotlights. Unfamiliar with what that is? I'll walk you through it.
Towards the end of the month, boards will be posted saying the name of the month and what you can nominate for. The categories include Member of the Month, Male of the Month, Female of the Month, Couple of the Month, Enemies of the Month and Thread of the Month. On the nomination boards, people can post who they should think to win. People can nominate the same person that's there, but once we've achieved around five in each category (more then five people is five, we could have ten for all I care), we move on to voting.
At voting, I will take the nominations and put them into a poll. The poll results will only be visible when the voting is complete. Everyone will vote, and whoever has the most votes by the end of the month will win the glory of being put on the side board for the entire month. Yeah, it'll be there soon, I'm currently working on graphics for it at the moment. But anyways, I'm pretty sure that explains it pretty well. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Some things to note:
- You can only vote with ONE character. I can see who voted , and if I see, for instance, Zane vote with both Kianthra and Zane, then one of his votes is disqualified.
- You can vote for yourself in every category but the Member of the Month.
- In event of a tie between two people, both will win the spotlight of the month. But if there was a three way tie or more, then there will be a quick week long poll and the winner will be chosen from there. If another tie occurs, I will choose.
