Soft whimpers came from the girls' bathroom on the second floor of Hogwarts. It was dark and damp in there, as if nobody had used it in ages. The only inhabitant of the place was Moaning Myrtle, and she was not much company for one who was crying.
Becky's hazel eyes glistened with unshed tears and tears just spilled; they trickled down her face as she pressed her back to the wall. She slid down it, wishing to be rid of the world for that moment. Clutched in her hand was a piece of parchment with writing on it.
It was from her sister, and it was a letter that had been lost in the mail, and just recently discovered.
In the letter it described what Ashley and Rebeka were going to do during the holidays, and how she'd been doing at college. She was going to be a mathamatics teacher in England. Now Becky's sister was feeding the earth, never to solve another problem again.
On the ground the Ravenclaw wept. It had already been two years since the accident, but the wounds were still raw, and this letter was salt rubbed hard into them. Moaning Myrtle wailed and wailed about her own problems, to which Rebeka snapped "SHUT UP!" before hurling a jinx at the ghost. Another wail and a great splash meant Myrtle had dived into a toilet, and that the bathroom would be flooding with water in a few minutes.
Well, let it flood. Maybe that way Becky could just curl up and embrace death. She continued to cry.

Zane headed along the second floor corridor when he saw water leaking from under a door. It must be Murtle. Knowing that the bathroom was always out of order he opened the door and stepped inside searching for the source of the flood. Wading through the ankle deep water, he rounded the corner and spotter Rebeka sat crying on the floor.
"Rebeka? Is that you?"
His voice echoed around the high ceilinged room, magnified to three times its original volume. He walked around the bathroom trying to find the source of the flood. "Reparo", no that didn't do any good, the water kept flowing. Ok I can't fix this. Let's just get Rebeka out of here. He headed back round to where Rebeka was sat. He perched on the edge of a sink and said, "what's wrong?"
Lily walked into Moaning Myrtles bathroom without know that Zane and Rebeka were there. She looked at Zane first. Her brow wrinkled in confusin. She saw Rebeka crying and dropped to her knees beside her. "Becky, you ok?" Lily asked placing a hand on her shoulder. She looked back up at Zane. 'Why is a guy in the girls restroom?' she asked herself. "Um, Zane. Why, exactly, are you in the girls restroom?" she asked with a small smile.

Zane looked up and saw Lily. "Hey Lily. This bathroom has been out of order for twenty years, surely you knew that? Anyway I'm not the only one to have broken that rule, your father's treaded this ground to all those years ago. " He looked from Rebeka to Lily, they could probably sort it out between themselves. He was about to leave when he remembered the flooding bathroom. The water was half way up his carves now, surely the girls must be freezing sat in the water.
"I know this seems obvious but we need to get out of here. In case you haven't noticed that water level is rising fast. How about we move into the empty classroom across the corridor and we can talk in there..." he said to the girls. He waited for a minute and then said, "look seriously we need to move. Rebeka can't you just stand up? I'll carry you out of here if I have to!"
Lily laughed softly at Zane. "I know it is out of order. Everyone in their right mind knows that. Oh I almost forgot, don't talk about my father." she said standing up. She looked into Zane's eyes. "Don't forget that." Lily extended a hand towards Rebeka. "Come on Becky, we need to get out of here. Zane is right." she said.
Becky looked up, startled. There was a boy and a girl in the bathroom now; it was hard to tell for a moment because her vision was blurry. After blinking a few times, it became clear that it was Lily Potter and Zane Lestrange. She suddenly realized that the water was to her ankles, her robes almost entirely soaked, and her eyes were probably puffy.
Well. This wasn't embarrassing or anything...
Rebeka looked to her letter, still clutched in her hand and now sopping wet. There was a weird feeling in the pit of her stomach as she looked to the two Gryffindors; she looked confused.
"N-no...It's alright..I'll stay h-here. I don't mind that it's fl-flooding."
Although she felt Lily's hand on her shoulder, the girl did not move. God, she was making a scene, but she couldn't help herself.

ooc: That's ok
"I'll try to remember that in the future Lily." He nodded to Lily before turning back to Rebeka. "I know you are upset but you can't stay here Rebeka." He said kindly. He turned when he heard a splash, and he saw that Murtle had reappeared and was floating a small distance away. "Hello Murtle, any chance you know what's wrong with Rebeka?" He paused and waited for her response before saying, "Well I didn't think you would tell me anyway..."
"Right, I'm going to have to carry you," he said before picking Rebeka up in his arms and motioning to Lily to open the door.
Lily nodded as she made her way to the door. The water was making its way slowly up to her calves. "Are we going to fix this Zane?" she asked motioning to the 'puddle' of water. She looked at him and sneezed. "Great. This is all I need. To get all sick and gross." she said, more talking to herself than anyone else. She held the door orpen for Zane and made her way out the door.
Rebeka was soon being picked up, unknowingly and completely against her will, although she was so surprised by the act that she couldn't start beating him. Becky blushed as she was brought out to 'dry land.' She felt so bad that he had to do that; Zane and Lily could've left her there, it would've been alright!
The Ravenclaw was released from his hold and she stumbled a bit before getting on the right foot. Rebeka looked feebishly at the floor, watched her hair drip water to the tiles and then looked at the two, ashamed.
"I...I'm really sorry." Becky said, trying to make this better, "It was really stupid for me to go in Myrtle's bathroom like that. This is my fault."

"We can always fix it later Lily," he turned to Rebeka who he had just set down in the corridor. "Actually," he said turning back to Lily once more, "we should fix it now, or some other unfortunate soul will walk in and be met by a wave of water." He stepped back into the bathroom with Lily following. "On three? One, Two, Three! Reparo!" The combined effort of the two Gryffindors was enough to stop the flow of water. "It will just drain away now, let's go back to Rebeka," he walked back out onto the corridor and dried his clothing with a quick spell.
"Don't worry about it Rebeka, just stay away from areas which have a tendency to flood," he laughed as he said this.
Lily smiled as they stopped the flow of water quickly. Her attention went back to Rebeka. "Um, Becky. I think you might want to change."she said with a smile. She reached over and patted her shoulder. "It will be okay. What happened?"Lily asked in a soothing tone. She glanced at Zane quickly, making sure he wasn't having trouble carrying Rebeka. She quickly diverted her gaze back to the water girl.
