Scorpius had been in the boys dorm, and suddenly feeling hungry, and the slight urge to boss someone around without being talked back to, decided to go to the kitchen. Perhaps there were cookies, or perhaps a scone. The door to the kitchen was closing; evidently someone had just entered, and before it closed, he snuck inside it.
No, instead of finding food, he heard people talking; certainly not any house elves. There were several voices, he couldn't make out who each one was. Scorpius, being ever so sneaky and devious, stayed in the shadows to hear what these people were talking about.
Dark Lord...DE...
Ah, the Slytherin thought with a smirk as he crossed his arms in the shadows upon hearing these key words, some of my most favorite words to hear...
Silently, as if almost cat-like, Scorpius appeared from the shadows of the kitchen. He eyed Charlotte and Kianthra, with a slight nod as a 'Hello,' and didn't bother to even acknowledge the other three right near them.
"So then, what's this I'm hearing about DE and such?" He inquired, arms still crossed. His dark eyes had that tell-tale glint in them.

"He is not a traitor and no one is a weak-link, as you put it. I am positive because he swore that he would be devoted to the cause despite his feelings for you Kianthra. I have no reason to doubt that he has broken that pact. Yes he cares for you, but I have no idea why," Zane said, his eyes flicked to Teddy and in response to his question, he meerly shook his head once. No, he would not stoop to Kianthra's level. She might be an arrogant, ruthless and power-obsessed maniac, but she was still his sister. He knew too well that if he revealed the name of the boy, Kianthra wouldn't let it die without returning the favour. His eyes stared into Kianthra's identical pair and after a few seconds he simply said, "I can't tell you that Teddy,". He glanced to Rosie and then to Teddy.
Truth be told, he did fear his sister. Her and her group of so-called friends. He knew that they would stop at nothing to achieve their goal, violence often went hand-in-hand with any of their ideas and it was the New Order who had to pay for it. He saw Teddy's hair change from red to turquoise to purple. Good, he was controlling his temper.
He turned to see Scorpius Malfoy beside Kianthra and Charlotte. This situation was just getting worse by the minute. They had had the chance when it was Kianthra alone, but now with the numbers equal, they were outmatched. Scorpius Malfoy, Zane found him irritating, arrogant and the exact same as his sister.

"Are you sure I can't persuade you?" She paused to look at Teddy and then said, "nevermind, I'm sure you'll soon see how similar we really are. But no, you are no relation of mine, I think I shall have to start pruning the Lestrange family tree, starting with half-blood metawolves and traitors who betray their family and defy all the family values and traditions, we can't have that now can we?" her eyes rested on Zane for a few seconds.
"At least you haven't forgotten that lesson I taught you, brother. If your tongue happens to slip, I'm sure we can repeat that lesson. No? Well make sure you keep that to yourself," she hissed, not caring that everyone else in the room had heard the threat. In fact it probably added to her persona, making her appear heartless and cruel. Kianthra had tried to move on from that certain someone and she had a new person in her sights, at least this time he was within her own house. Not even Zane knew that and he had a habit of knowing all her secrets. But not this time.
"Ah Scorpius, shall I fill you in?"she smiled, a rare emotion for her to express but alas it had gone within seconds.

Charlotte watched the conversation with amusement. She laughed at their ideas of being able to beat us. She usually kept her mouth shut around others not of the DE, unless in class, but their idealistic attitudes just gave her strange satisfaction at the thought of crushing their ideals.
She snatched a peach from a fruit basket and tossed it up lightly in the air. She gave a small smile as Scorpius walked in, they were now evenly matched if any real issues were to present themselves. "It's actually quite funny, listening to their optimistic views." She took a bite out of the peach and grinned.
She tittered her teeth at Zane's remark, "Now, no need to be rude. He has friends in this room, and you don't know how your antagonizing comments could push one of us." She looked Zane straight in the eyes, her face emotionless as she allowed her eyes to show the deep threat from them. She hoped he would understand that she was not going to be one to fool with in the next coming weeks.
It was soon going to be time to show her true colors to the likes of Zane Lestrange and his bothersome group.
Scorpius's smirk faltered at Zane's demanding question, and he snapped his vision to the Lestrange boy. Pity he was nothing like his sister; they'd probably be good friends. Shame. He glared at him for a moment before looking to the ground. He closed his eyes and chuckled.
"Huh," The Slytherin started, "Funny. I don't actually remember talking to you at all. Lucky for you my memory sometimes slips."

"No I haven't forgotten. It is difficult to forget that sort of thing. I'll try and hold my tongue but I can't promise anything, it's so difficult to keep track of all your secrets Kianthra, one day I might just forget that it was a secret and tell the person nearest to me," he paused and waited for her reaction.
"I was simply stating the obvious," Zane said to Charlotte. "But of course, he has you and my sister, so called "friends" is that what you call them? They're more like devoted followers, unable to think for themselves without running it by you first. You're like a puppeteer, pulling all the strings, controlling everything they do. Well, unluckily for you, my rebellion is not a dictatorship, run by someone who craves power." Zane looked Charlotte straight in the eyes, not even blinking or looking away. Yes she was a threat, they were a threat, but surely everyone has a weakness, don't they?
Zane ignored Scorpius but his eyes flicked back between Kianthra and Scorpius.

"Good well make sure it stays that way."
She turned to Scorpius, "Well I walked in on them having some sort of secret meeting about the NO. We exchanged pleasantries," at this she smiled when she thought back to the stream of insults. "They were informed that they had a traitor in their organisation, they weren't too happy about that. They insulted Charlotte and myself. Then when you arrived, well you know the rest," She looked at him and smiled then turned her attention back to her brother.
"Brother, I would have thought by now you would have learned to think before you speak. You yourself know that if it comes down to a duel, it will be you who ends up in the hospital wing, being forced to drink a bottle of skelegro and being fed several potions. You can't even hope to match us, so why don't you quit while you're behind because you're not going to catch up,". Time to change tactics. She glared at Rosie and Teddy before saying, "You are strangely optomistic for one who is in such a perilous situation. Think of all the wizarding blood you are wasting, either drop the rebellion and save lives or get stopped by us. Think of all the innocent first years, you would be responsible for their deaths, it would be on your head."
She stepped back away from Zane and waited.
SLYTHERIN - Some are born evil, some achieve evil and some have evilness thrust upon them
This whole interaction was going nowhere but down. Rosie knew nothing would come of it but hatred and perhaps a duel if they stayed long enough. Who knew how much trouble they'd be in then? Rosie didn't know how long she, Teddy, and Zane could hold out against the three malicious demons they would be fighting. And she wasn't eager to find out.
Ignoring Kianthra's comments towards her, she gave her a pitying smile and then grabbed her two friends by the elbows, forcing them to flank her closely. Although she was definitely the smallest of the three and her two friends were at least a head taller than her, she hoped they would let her clear head do all the thinking while their own, clouded with anger as they were, could not.
"You know we'd love to talk," she said, an edge to her voice and a hint of warning to Zane and Teddy that the sooner they got out of here the better, "We really would. But, unfortunately for you, we've got better things to do than talk all night. So, if you'd excuse us..."
What was Zane not telling them? Was it one of the secrets he had on his sister? Or was it something that if he knew he told, she would spread a secret about him. He hated this siblings having secrets on one another thing, it was a load of rubbish. But he wouldn't bother Zane about it, he knew what that was like, with his parents and all. Not a lot of people knew how he spent some of his days, and he rather them not find out.
"Besides our small bloodline Kianthra, we are nothing a like. Nor will we ever be. I fight for my parents, and they sure weren't Death Eaters." Ted said, his voice coated with distraught. He couldn't believe she was speaking these words, and his hair became a little more redder. As she spoke again, he had a need to speak. "Our first years will be well ready to fight when the times comes, I assure you that. They'll probably beat some of your members like they would never expect." he smiled proudly, knowing he'd be able to pick out a few of the good ones in no time to be ready to fight.
As Rosie grabbed ahold of his elbow, his hair turned a cooler shade of purple now. He knew that this was just going to end badly, but did Zane just want to run from his sister like this? It was his call, he looked to his friends to see what was the plan. He knew what Rosie wanted, and he found himself caught in the middle.

"Your arrogance and complacency will be your downfall Kianthra. We have not spilled one drop of blood and we don't plan to, you on the other hand...Listen here Kianthra, no amount of pruning of the Lestrange Family tree will restore of family to its former glory, you'll just have to learn to accept it. You forget that I have disarmed you many times Kianthra, you only win through the use of trickery and deceit." Zane said quietly not showing a single emotion.
Zane knew that if he revealed Kianthra's secret the New Order would have the advantage, but for how long? It wouldn't be long before Kianthra would strike, when they were unprepared and not expecting an attack. That would be when she would strike and take out himself, Rosie and Teddy. No, he would keep her secret, for now.
As Rosie grabbed his elbow, he nodded to both Rosie and Teddy, signalling that he thought it were best if they got out of the kitchens.
Rosie silently thanked the gods above for her good luck. At least both the boys were thinking clearly enough to let her get them out of there before they did anything truly stupid and that they would regret. Thank God they were smart enough to not want to fight. Although, the same surely couldn't be true for the three seething Slytherins facing them.
Without further ado, Rosie steered her two friends towards the exit of the kitchen, smiling thankfully at all the elves they passed. She just hoped desperately that Kianthra, Scorpius and Charlotte wouldn't take their anger out on the elves once she, Teddy and Zane had gone. The poor things didn't deserve such treatment, especially from such people as those three.
She'd let Teddy and Zane go first, and both were halfway through the portraithole when the first jinx clanged off the wall opposite Rosie.

Teddy looked back as he exited the port hole, glad to get out of there. Who know what was going to happen if they just didn't leave here and then. When the jinx flew through that was enough to make him snap. Sorry Zane, this just has to be done. Teddy thought to himself, looking at Zane. He couldn't see his hair, but he knew it had gone to a bright red color again, and he had pulled his wand out of his pocket and flew back into the porthole.
"Alright, who did it?" Teddy said, his teeth clenched, his wand ready to block any spell they threw at him. He knew these people would and could send off one of the deadly three curses, but he hoped they would all be to afraid for now to send one off with witnesses and such around. They should know better then that.

"What you think it was me?" Kianthra's face was the picture of innocence. This was the one situation where her blonde hair and large eyes provided an advantage. Well, it would have been an advantage if you hadn't met her before. But of course, Teddy knew she was capable of unforgiveable curses, so no wonder he blamed her. She smiled at him, the complete opposite of a few moments earlier, but that smile gave her away. Guilty. The yew wand with a veela hair core was at her side but not aimed at Teddy.
She waited, no doubt her brother would come running back into the kitchens like his friend the wolf. She didn't have to wait long before Zane appeared beside Teddy, wand ready to fend off any attack. Kianthra returned her brother's look and remained without blinking until Zane blinked. Kianthra glanced at Charlotte and Scorpius to see if they were preparing to fight or using the same tactics as she was. The NO wouldn't want to be the ones who started the fight, they would wait for either Kianthra, Scorpius or Charlotte to strike first.
The wand shifted slightly in her hand which resulted in Zane changing targets to her.
SLYTHERIN - Some are born evil, some achieve evil and some have evilness thrust upon them
The jinx that ricocheted off the wall next to her scared the crap out of poor Rosie. She jumped a little and her heart starting racing faster than a jackrabbit. However, the thing to shake her out of her state of shock was the advancement of Teddy Lupin to a spot just in front of her. His stance was aggressive, offensive, almost protective. Rosie glanced back at Zane, who was scrambling back into the room as Kianthra spoke.
"Ted," Rosie hissed through clenched teeth, "Let's GO. My God, CONTROL YOUR TEMPER." It was that quiet sort of yelling, that mothers use on their children in public, when they're really mad, but they don't want to shout with other people around. It was the kind of voice that you wince to hear if you're a child. But if you were Teddy, you'd already heard it many a time already from Rosie.

Charlotte laughed and bit back the smirk from her face; her wand was now pulled straight towards the trio. Teddy seemed the most likely to actually hex them back first at the moment, she watched his hair turn bright red. “You may want to be careful about all the anger, some might mistake you as Weasley filth.” She said shrugging her shoulders hoping for some rise from the more controlled of the goody threesome as well as the pup.
She was giddy at the moment, maybe if they were lucky they could get down one of the three now instead of later. It didn’t matter too much though, it would just make it easier to weaken them now, show them how strong they really were. The small Weasley girl was bloody bugging her, if she was ever talked to like that, that girl would not be standing there on her feet at the moment.
“What, you don’t feel like playing? Afraid you’ll lose?”
