At Kianthra's words, Rosie whipped around, and began sizing up the Death Eaters behind her. They were sizable, both male, and rather thick and brawny. Both had short, lighter-colored wands compared to Rosie's own long, rich russet-colored one. She attempted to wipe the fear from her face as she looked them up and down. She thought she remembered them from somewhere. She'd probably passed them in the corridors or something. They were Slytherins, that was a definite. They had that pinched, evil look to their faces, like all the other Slytherins she'd ever known.
She felt Ted tense behind her as she took a step in his direction, to press her back against his and keep both the Death Eaters in sight. As Charlotte and Scorpius entered, both breathing hard, Rosie realized how outnumbered they were. Now they couldn't call for help. But, however disadvantaged they were in this fight, Rosie knew Zane wouldn't surrender. That would be admitting defeat. And that was something the NO never did.
Charlotte and Scorpius circled around to stand by Kianthra. Rosie supposed she'd have to take the two Death Eaters by herself, as Teddy and Zane had their hands full taking care of Charlotte, Scorpius, and Kianthra.

Ted looked back to see the Death Eaters, sure enough, just as Kianthra spoke of them. He looked back at Kianthra, glaring into her eyes as she continued to speak, his face staying blank. They were obviously out numbered, even Zane knew that. But he knew his friend, and that he would not back down with him this time. And of course, Teddy would fight hard with him.
"Kianthra, I will never take your proposition, you should know better then that. I'll always fight on the Order's side, just as my parents did. I'll never have doubts about my choice, so you might as well as forget about me. I'm quiet content with where I am." Ted said, his voice cool. He felt Rosie on his back, and he knew she would deal with the Death Eaters. He knew that he and Zane would fight of Scorpius, Kianthra and Charlotte while she fought the two others. "Good luck." he whispered to Rosie, knowing that this was going to be quiet a battle.

He looked over his shoulder and saw Kianthra, well who else could it have been?. Zane walked to stand next to Teddy, facing his sister. "Shame, you missed your chance to hit me in the back," he laughed. "You know I won't surrender, so why waste your breath even suggesting it? And I've told you before, don't insult my friends.". He stared into his sister's eyes as her lip curled slightly.
He glanced at Rosie, she had her own problems with the two DE members. Teddy looked as though he was ready to fight. Zane prepared, raising the ebony wand, his sister mirroring his movements. It was like looking in a mirror, Zane moved his left hand, Kianthra moved her right hand.
Rosie smiled as she heard Teddy's retort to Kianthra's proposal. Idly, she wondered how thick that girl could get. All of the NO members were dedicated and commited. None of them would ever transfer to the dark side, even if they were given a chance too. Although, not many of them would. Most would be deemed not pure enough of blood or two traitorous to even be considered. Besides, Rosie doubted and Gryffindors would make it into the DE.
"Right back atcha, m'dear," Rosie whispered back, smirking a little at the two Death Eaters across from her. She raised her wand as Zane did, watching as the DE members did the same. This was going to be one hellova battle. If she and her friends made it out alive.

"I'm sorry to hear that metawolf, such a shame really. Well I'll be watching you, maybe I can still persuade you to join us. Everyone has their price. I'm sure you only just need a little persuasion," she caught Scorpius' eye and he smirked as she said this. "I'd watch out for your girlfriend, she looks a bit vulnerable". Another heartless laugh. Mirroring her brother's movements was just another of her mind games, to try and get them to fight back. She listened to her brother's words and then said,
"Then prepare yourself brother"
Purple shot out of the yew wand and just missed her brother. "Why do you have to be so difficult?". The other Death Eaters began to attack with a variety of red and purple spells. Kianthra glanced at Scorpius and then continued firing spells at the trio. "Watch out" she said as she sent a trio of spells at the trio, two red and one purple. Of course, they were all non-verbal spells, her speciality.
SLYTHERIN - Some are born evil, some achieve evil and some have evilness thrust upon them
"Rosie can handle herself perfectly. She'll knock those two blocks out before you know it." he said with confidence. He was well aware of Rosie's confidence with her spell work, but he was sure if she concentrated she would get it down pat. The DE members looked like they were there to frighten others with their muscles, not so much their spell work. He believed they were in his DADA class, and he was almost sure that one of them in the beginning of the year didn't know which end of his wand was up. Rosie shouldn't have much trouble with them.
As the battle commenced, purple and red streaks of light where propelled at him and Zane, but they threw a few at the DE trio as well. He knew Zane would deal with his sister, so Teddy concentrated on Charlotte and Scorpius, throwing spells like Stupify and Antonin Dolohov's Curse at them. After blocking a spell cast by Scorpius, Teddy pointed his ash wand at him and called "Petrificus Totalus!" at him, sending a blue streak of light towards Scorpius.
Rosie rolled up her sleeves, gulping nervously as she waited for Kianthra to strike. She was poised and ready with a spell for the two boys across from her. They did look menacing, but not as though they'd know one end of a broomstick from the other. Quite a shame. Rosie would've liked a challenge. She was shaken out of her thoughts a moment later, as she saw the glow of a spell reflected off the smooth, stone walls of the corridor. Immediately, she raised her wand and shouted, "Stupify!"
The spell hit one of the boys in the chest, and he keeled over backwards. The other, however, grunted darkly, which his wand apparently took for a word, because a beam of green light shot towards Rosie. She ducked out of the way and, hearing Teddy's last spell choice ringing in the empty corridor, she copied it. Her voice sounded rather shaky compared to his. She had, after all, just almost been hit by an Unforgivable. That, in itself, was enough to scare the hell out of her.
The other boy fell, just as the first one came to. He struggled to his feet, grunting like his friend, and his spell caught Rosie off guard. It was an attempt at the Cruciatus Curse, Rosie knew that. But, she supposed that this boy either didn't have the magical ability to cast it correctly, or otherwise, he was distracted by the spells flying around behind Rosie. Either way, the intolerable pain only lasted for a few moments, and she collapsed to the ground, before she was able to gasp another Stunning Spell at him, and thus rid herself of the pain. However, even a poorly cast Cruciatus Curse was enough to cause immense pain. Wincing, she stood shakily her face paler than usual, and directed her wand at the other boy, who'd seemed to have shaken off her jinx. Her wand shook so much she had to brace it with her other hand to even aim at her target.

Kianthra deflected Teddy's spell with a flick of her wand and in return sent Teddy an unforgivable, which was red in colour. The Cruciatus Curse, but of course she'd had plenty of practice for this one, best to avoid it at all costs. Unlike the lower ranked members of the DE, Kianthra knew how to use the curse to maximum effect. Something in the genes from her mother's side. She then sent an identical curse towards Rosie and turned to face her brother. "Why won't you fight me?" she screamed as she sent the red curse at him and watch in deflect of into the wall.
He mumbled something about waiting for the right moment and then sent a stunning spell at her. Another flick of the wrist and the spell was deflected. "Don't you want to play? Or do you finally admit that you are scared of your sister?" her hiss was met by silence and then another deflected curse. "What do I have to do to make you fight? Ah I know...you've always had a soft spot for the wolf and weasel haven't you...". Scorpius laughed in the background but for once Kianthra didn't turn around and join in.
Just after she threw a Stunning Spell at the Death Eater that was standing, something hit her in the back. It was Kianthra's spell. And this time, the inflicter of the spell was not an amatuer. She was the daughter of Bellatrix Lestrange, who, besides the Dark Lord himself, was probably the Queen of the Cruciatus Curse. As such, this spell had a far more drastic effect on Rosie than the previous one had.
She crumpled to the ground, crying out in pain, her limbs writhing and twitching in agony, splaying all over the stone floor of the hallway. Her resperations per minute increased from their usual sixteen to about a hundred as she was literally panting for breath. Finally, the spell weakened and Rosie got a moment's rest, during which she distracted the caster of the Unforgivable by shooting her own spell at her through the space between Teddy and Zane. "Rictusempra!"
The jinx found it's mark, right in the middle of Kianthra's chest. This weakened the Cruciatus Curse even further, which enabled Rosie to throw of the spell and struggle to her feet. She was pale as death and her limbs were shaking even worse than before.

Zane saw Kianthra fall backwards hit by Rosie's spell. ""Good shot..." he said as he turned to face Rosie who was lying on the floor. Zane swore and then said, "Rosie, are you ok? What did she hit you with?". The colour of her face answered that question for him. He held out a hand to help her up but she was already standing and shaking slightly. "Teddy," he said loudly pointing to Rosie. Zane saw one of the DE approaching behind Rosie and quickly shot them with a stunning spell. The other one was no where to be seen, probably run off to get reinforcements.
In the corner of his eye he saw Scorpius cast some kind of curse, blue in colour at Teddy. "Are you sure you're alright Rosie? I can probably create a diversion or some kind of shield if you want to leave..."
As the red sparks hit him he fell to the ground immediately, first felling the pain of his shoulder hitting the stone and then the pain of the curse. No wonder it was a Unforgivable curse. Teddy laid on the floor, screaming in pain. He had to get up, Zane was on his own. But he couldn't manage, it was too much. Goddamn it get up Teddy! Get up! he screamed at himself as he noticed Rosie getting up. Get up! he screamed again. As he moved his felt his shoulder, it had come out of place he believed. He held it together and stood again, glaring at Kianthra.
"Avis Oppugno!" Teddy called, sending a flock of birds out of his wand and towards Kianthra, ready to strike. Tickling and a flock of birds being thrown at her, well this should be interesting.
"TED!" Rosie rushed over, staring at his shoulder. It looked ghastly and she was sure it hurt like hell, but Teddy didn't seem to notice. His gaze was fixed on Kianthra, who was being clothed in a flock of little white birds, who were twittering like mad and pecking at every exposed section of her skin that they could reach. Rosie smirked. Served her right.
"You alright, Ted?" she asked him, her voice etched with concern as she turned back to send a nasty spell at the two Death Eaters, who were recovering yet again from being Stunned. You'd think they'd learn to use a Shield or something. "Tarantallegra!" Immediately, the boys' legs started a wild sort of jig, which made Rosie let out a bark of laughter, even while the situation was so not funny. However, you had to admit, they looked a bit stupid dancing away like that.
After a moment, she turned to Zane, a look of surprise on her face. "And leave the two of you behind? You feeling alright, Zane?" She was obviously declining on his offer to get her out of the fight. Why, after all, would she leave her two best friends terribly outnumbered and not even try to help? That was just stupid. No offense to Zane, of course.

Kianthra fought the birds for a minute, "Stupid bloody birds, " she said with a blast from her wand, causing all the birds to disappear. She threw off the tickling spell and stood upright. Now first the Weasel. So much choice, what should I choose? Ah I know. She flicked the wand and then twisted it slightly causing a bright pink light to shoot from her wand in Rosie's direction. Hmm I don't think pink's my colour, she smiled slightly.
And now the wolf. The persuasion we need... Imperio!. The unforgivable curse floated across the room as silently as it had been summoned, heading towards the metawolf. That might sort you out...and now for our trusted companions. She lifted the curse from the dancing boy, sending him a fierce glare as she did so.
"And then there was one," she whispered, turning to face Zane who still had his back to her. Time for something special I think, for my darling brother... sectumcorpus. The purple light flew across the room towards its target.

"Yes I'm fine don't worry. Teddy's in pretty bad shape though.". He walked over to Teddy. "You trust me don't you Teddy. I could pop your shoulder back in...don't look so worried I've done it before. I only ask because you won't last much longer with that kind of pain." He deflected one of Charlotte's spells and then said, "the offer is there if you want it. Or you could just wait til we can get you to Madam Pomfrey, I can't be sure how long a wait that will be though, it could be five minutes or ten or even a couple of hours."
He looked into Rosie's eyes and was sure he saw a bright pink light. I've never seen that before it must be powerful dark magic. The spell in question was actually an adaptation of the confringo curse, where whatever the spell hits the object explodes. This had been one of the DE's inventions where by the caster could make the target collapse and the target would experience the feeling of drowning but in fact not get injured at all. It was more of a distraction and disabling curse than a torture curse.
Before he could tell Rosie to duck, Kianthra's curse hit him square in the middle of his shoulder blades. The force of the spell carried him into one of the corridor walls, with a resounding crunch, where he crumpled and lay still for a minute. His wand spiralled away to lie a few metres ahead of him. Come on Zane get up. Rosie and Teddy did. Get up, you're supposed to be the leader. It's not as if you've been hit by an unforgivable, you've only bin... Zane's mantra stopped. He moved his hand out from underneath him and stared at it. That's strange, why is it bright red?...oh. The realisation hit Zane, ok so I'm bleeding a bit, nothing to worry about
"I've been worst." Ted manged to say, smiling at Rosie. Even in the middle of battle he didn't want her to worry about him, the important thing was that she would worry about keeping herself alive. Which, at the moment, began to dim. Before he even managed to get a word out to tell Zane to do it, he watched as pink sparks flew in Rosie direction. "ROSE!" he screeched, turning to her, but then Kianthra hit him with the Imperious curse. He flew across the room, hitting the wall, which knocked him out for a moment.
We his eyes opened, he looked at Rosie and the Zane for a moment before slowly drifting to Kianthra's side. The Imperious curse worked just as she wanted, but Teddy still had his senses, He was screaming at himself to stop, but of course, he was Kianthra's puppet now. He only hoped that his two friends would noticed his eyes, that had become deep black, due to the curse. Then, we she forced him to attack them, like he knew she would, they maybe could forgive him after.
