[Teddy Lupin]

No one seemed to notice that the bed that Teddy had been sleeping in had become empty. He had woken up early, earlier then usual and decided to venture down to the kitchen and grab some food for his friends for when they woke up. He wasn't stupid though, he had gone to the common room first, taking a bag, shrunken clothes for everyone (He didn't go up into the girl's dormitory, he abused Accio again. He was glad no one was up, he was sure it would send some weird stares as clothes floated down to him, especially from the girl's dormitory), and grabbed the Maruader's Map from James's trunk. It wasn't stealing, after all, his father helped in the creation of this map as well. He used it just in case the Terrible Trio and friends decided to try and find him.

He got close when he was near the kitchen. They were heading towards the Great Hall for breakfast. He jumped into a secret hall, and they never saw him. Once he reached the kitchen, he had to ask the house elves if they were alright, after all they did stop the trio after he, Zane and Rosie left the other night. Everyone was
alright, no true harm done. They all just got stunned, but after awhile they were back to normal. Teddy thanked them again as he began to shrink a fair amount of food and put it in the bag he had brought. With another thanks, he headed back to the Room of Requirements, without being seen.

As he entered the room he noticed everyone was up. "Did someone say that he wanted crumpets?" Ted smiled, opening his bag and pulling out a large amount of things, like clothes and food. He pulled out his wand and pointed to all the things. "Engorgio." he muttered and everything grew to normal size. "I got everyone a change of clothes and of course, food, I thought you'd be hungry" he said, pulling out the map and throwing it to James. "I borrowed this in case of any trouble came." Ted smiled, grabbing himself a piece of toast and taking a couple of crumpets over to Zane.

"How are you feeling today?" he asked as he passed Zane a crumpet.

[Zane Lestrange]

"Oh Rosie why are you always right?" he laughed as he said this which was shortly followed by a sharp in takeof breath. It was true though, she always seemed to be right especially when crumpets and late-night Quidditch practises were involved. Still, this didn't solve the crumpet problem. Maybe another trip down to the kitchens? No, Rosie would never agree, especially with the terrible trio on the warpath. "I'm fine honestly, wow that's great Lily, I wish I could have seen it," Zane said with a smile, after all encouragement and kind words resulted in improvement.

"Well James, it originally started in the Kitchens, we were getting a midnight snack and then my sister turned up, soon to be followed by Charlotte and Scorpius. We managed to escape the kitchens but the DE got us cornered on that corridor with no doors. And that's where you came in..." Zane turned to Teddy and simply said, "Teddy, you're a life saver," before tucking into a crumpet. "I'm fine just don't make me laugh, it makes my ribs hurt," Zane said pausing whilst inbetween crumpets.

[James Sirius Potter]

James nodded and caughed the map "Good idea Teddy." he said smiling. He took a crumpet and some toast and quickly changed into a spare change of clothes.

When he came back he listened to what Zane said about last night and scowled "I should have been there with you." he muttered "what I wouldn't give to curse Scorpius's smirk off his face." he added hoping that no-one heard him.

[Lily Potter]

Lily smiled as Zane told her she did good. "Well, thank you very much. It was a very good one. Right in the eyes! You should have seen his face. Ah, good times."she said with a laugh. Lily looked back at Teddy. She jumped up off Rosie's bed and ran over to him. She gave him a huge hug. "Thank Teddy!"she said happily, grabbing a piece of toast.
Lily sat down next to James in time to hear him talked about cursing their faces off. "Well, I wish I could have gotten Charlotte. That would have been amazing, only I doubt iwould be here if I had."she said under her breath.

Teddy smiled seeing as how everyone had gotten something to eat, and that Zane was well. Well, as well as he was going to be for these next few days. He had wrote to Harry this morning, explaining the situation, and asked if he could ask Hermione or Ginny, since they seemed the most informative on the matter, for any ways to heal Zane. And if not, how would Muggle's treat the situation. He turned over to Rosie who was still in bed, and walked over towards her, sitting down and summoning an apple over for her.

"Have a better sleep?" Teddy asked, offering his friend the apple.

[Rosie Lupin]

She had been worried when she woke up and Teddy wasn't in his bed. But, she'd masked her apprehension well in her conversation with James and Lily. She'd been thinking about scenarios as to how to safely get food. Of course, Ted, being the reckless idiot that he was, threw caution to the wind and headed to the kitchens, thinking he'd be safe with that flimsy Marauder's Map. Did he have any idea how worried she'd been when she realized what he'd deicded to do? No. And he probably didn't care either.

But her anger at him melted when he came to sit next to her and handed her the apple. She took it, flashing him a rather small but thankful smile. "Thanks, Ted," she said, taking a bite out of her apple and chewing thoughtfully. "Good enough. But don't ever leave by yourself again, you hear me? You don't have any idea how worried I was. You could have been killed." Her tone of voice was more motherly that it was controlling, although it did have an edge of warning to it.

[Teddy Lupin]

Teddy chuckled. "Wondered when Mother Rosie would pop out and scold me. But Rosie, I was fine, and no run in's with the Terrible Trio or their followers." he told her. He knew he was lying, but he tried to cover well, knowing how much trouble he would be in if she found out he had to hide behind a tapestry, which was quiet cramped, for a good ten minutes before the three off the passed and went down to the next level. He'd be shot if he told her, and he knew that perfectly well, which was why he was never planning on telling her.

"I was thinking though, it we could copy that map my father and his friends made, it would always make us one step ahead of them. I was watch the map the whole way down to the kitchens and not only did I not see the trio, no prefects on early duties, professors, not even Peeve's! How would I love to know how my father and his friends did it." he sighed, thinking of the possibilities whilst he summoned another piece of toast, the only thing he'd ever think about eatting in the morning. Everything else made him sick.

James looked at Teddy and shook his head "I don't think that copying the map will work. Dad told me that it doesnt react well to magic on it."

[Rosie Lupin]

"Well, as none of the original makers are still with us, I suppose we'll never know," she answered, looking at her fingernails. She didn't like talking about the Marauder's Map. It brought up the uncomfortable subject of Teddy's father and, in turn, his parents and their deaths, which she found he rather liked to avoid. So, all the years that she'd known him, she'd followed suit. Of course, it wasn't easy sometimes, especially when a parent or teacher mentioned how much Teddy was like his parents, but she tried her best.

"We could still attempt at it," she suggested, looking up and taking a bite of her apple, "I mean, it's worth a shot right? It's not as though it can do any harm." She'd listened to her uncle talk about the Marauder's Map. It was an interesting contraption, one that was a magical masterpiece in itself, and Rosie considered its makers to be geniuses beyond any of the people she'd learned about in History of Magic. The fact that Ted was the son and James and Lily the grandchildren, of those people truly astounded her.

[Teddy Lupin]

Teddy looked over at Rosie as she spoke about the founders. She was looking at her fingernails, an obvious sign that she was uncomfortable with the situation. It kinda made him happy, that she didn't want to bring up his father, that she understood him at that level. She probably was one of the only ones who could. He reached out and placed a hand on her shoulder, giving her a warm smile. She really was the only one who understood him.

"Yes, my father and his friends were intelligent, from what I've heard, but I don't think they could be THAT smart. There's got to be somewhere they got it from. It may take a bit of searching, but it'll be worth it when we're done." Teddy smiled at the small group. He looked back to Rosie and nodded. "It's worth a shot."

[Rosie Lupin]

She could feel Ted's eyes on her forehead, prying lightly for her eyes. Knowing how obviously uncomfortable she looked - at least to him, who knew her so much better than any one else in the room at the moment - she stopped and instead looked up, giving him a slight smile, wrinkling her nose a little before taking a bite of her apple. It was quite a good apple, mind you. Red and juicy. But, of course, not too juicy, because those ended up squishy.

"Intelligent? Don't be modest," she told him, laughing just a bit, "The only other person smart enough to create something as incredible as this map was Dumbledore." She listened to his excuses. "Well," she said, thinking, "Perhaps they got a little help. We could always ask my uncle. He does seem to know a lot about this map."
