Xavier let out a chortle. "And what makes you think I have any enemies, Miss Snape? Apparently, no one hates me that much, I guess Im just not that much of a threat. I have no mutual enemies, though I dislike some people. Such as Scorpius for example, and I guess I am not the largest fan of Lupin or Kianthra's brother, but I cannot honestly say that I hate any of them. Why...? Do you have any mutual enemies? I bet I can guess a few. That Ravenclaw girl...Olivia Riley or something like that. And maybe...Your cousin. The blonde Weasley girl. Well, I can't say I'm a fan of her, either. She's so...odd!" He gave Nikita a meaningful look. "Does that count as my question? Cause, if it does, I take it back. I have a better question..." Touching his pointer finger to his chin, thoughtfully, "How many guys have you dated in the past...say, two years? Just out of curiousity." But a meaningful glimmer in his eye testified for the fact it was more than just curiosity. He wanted to know who he was up against, if he did decide that he liked this girl. Hopefully, though, she wouldn't ask the same question, because he had lost track of this year's relationships. And he was sure she wouldn't be pleased.
Nikita let out a soft laugh as she listened to Xavier's answer to her question. "Why yes indeed I HATE Ms. Weasley, and Livi. UGH! My cousin and I... have our... differences. But then again we have our similarities. Livi, and I... well... let's just say we didn't have such a great start at our friendship. We were rather rude... well I was rather rude. although she did start being rude back until I got a tad bit too deep and mean for her. She started bawling..." Niki paused for a split second to roll her eyes slightly, "I threatened her... several times. I also have a tendency to hate my other cousin James Potter. We've ran into each other a couple time... didn't go well..." She faded off of her sentence, as her thoughts carried into a different direction. She thought hard about his question now, cocking her head to the side, adorably.
Clearing her throat softly, she answered his question with careful thought. "Well, I have dated one guy this year... it was Craig Longbottom. Oh boy. I don't know how that happened, but it did. He disappeared though... I haven't seen him in forever, and we broke up. That's how that went... but I dated like three or four the year before, who turned out to be total douche bags. So about five guys in the past two years." She laughed, thinking about what her question would be now. "Okay, my turn... how about this... who are you thinking about at this very second?" Her question was deep enough for her liking, but she hoped it wasn't too deep for his liking. She sighed softly, a smile spread across her face.

Xavier lifted an eyebrow as she spoke of James, and Vistoire, and Olivia. "Well, I guess not everybody can be a Slytherein" He said, not speaking of the house itself, but rather the general idea of a Slytherein. Witty, charming, powerful, and, of course, daring. Few people could truly pull off the Slytherein way of life, though Xavier has been told he fit the bill, and he was starting to think so did Nikita. He turned a dark shade of red, though Xavier hoped dearly that Miss Snape wouldn't notice it because of the lack of light. "Well, I was....thinking about...you, I guess. Shall I go into details, or is the straight fact good enough?" He rubbed the back of his head, and smiled, widely. "If you could wish for any material object in the whole world, made-up stuff, included, like a winged fish, ecetera, what would you wish for?" Xavier wanted to know just a little more about her. Like what was she truly like. Usually, when girls were asked a question like this, they would reply World Peace and that would utterly piss him off, because he knew they were lying. He doubted she'd answer turthfully, but it'd still be nice to know.
A small bite of the lower lip was all it took to keep Niki from smiling like a little girl that was flirting a lot. Of course, she felt her cheeks heat up, but she ignored the fact the she was really red. She noticed that Xavier was too, which made her feel so much better. She sighed, rolling on her side, with her elbow supporting her head evenly. She finally let herself smile, at his question, but she was still thinking about his answer. She opened her mouth to speak, her voice sounding perfect. "Well, I would suggest you go into detail..." She said with a tad of a flirtatious tone in her voice, which she couldn't help at the slightest bit.
Not waiting for Xavier to go into detail about his thoughts, which focused in Niki might I add, she continued onto her answer. "Well, now that is a hard question... oh I got it... that was actually really easy now that I think about it..." She ended her sentence, turning to look deeply into Xavier's eyes. "i would wish for my father to be alive again." Her eyes grew with sorrow as she said this, knowing that it was nothing but the truth. That was exactly what she would wish for. She sighed, moving on with her question rather quickly. "Have you ever had the thought in your head of suicide, or even murder?" Her question was quick and simple, and she also answered it in her head for herself.

Xavier was glad when Nikita moved on, letting the flush dissapear that had arrived when she suggested a little more detail. But, her question left a sharp, metallic taste in his mouth that let him know that he had bitten a little too hard onto his cheek. Ignoring the taste of coppery blood, he shrugged. "Suicide...seems pointless to me. Not that I'm a devout Christian or anything, but I believe if you kill yourself, whatever god you worship isn't going to let you into his home, for you arrived far too early. Though, murder...has crossed my mind every once in a while. Like killing the Care of Magical Animal's teacher every now and then. Her accent irritates me. Or, sometimes Charlotte when she's being a smidge unfair to some first years. How can you guys get them to join your cause if they're scared stiff? I dunno if I'd go through with it, but it's always a thought." He rolled over onto his stomach, inching slightly closer to his companion. "If you don't mind me asking something...more personal than I have been, how do you..." The words slipped form his mouth, accidentally, but the question seared in his brain. Seeing Nikita uplift an eyebrow, he knew he'd have to finish, and did so as rash and quickly as he could. "Malfoy. What's going on between you two? Are ya still...?" He just couldn't finish. It made his face heat up again, so he buried it in the grass, and inhaled. Concentrating on the scent of grass, a smell he was personally attached to, waited for her answe,r no matter what it might be.[/centet]
Nikita let out a small gentle laugh as she listened intently to his answer. "Yes, indeed me too... I hate her accent!" She continued laughing, but then suddenly stopped at his question. Her face turned sincere, as she watched Xavier hide his face in the grass. She moved closer to him, filling the empty space ever-so-quickly. She moved her hand to his face, pulling it up to hers. She laid down next to him, their faces inches apart. Her eyes sparkled with no emotion what-so-ever, as she locked eyes with him. Her hand cupped his chin, adorably, their bodies grazing against each other.
"I think I just loved the "idea" of him, rather than the being itself. I'll never know for sure, if I loved the person he is, or was. It's all a big blur when I think about it. He used and abused the power he had over me, bending me to his will. I can't think straight when he's around, I can get sucked into his black hole of endless disapointment everytime he winks at me. When my name comes out of his lips I drop to my knees and become putty in his hands. What a stupid plan I have to ignore him, only to make his game a little more interesting. He wants that domain force over me all of the time, thats something I will never have over myself. I can't truely say I'm happy without him, but I can't be at peace with him. Why should I think that he's too good for me. I know he doesn't deserve me. The type of person he is Hostile, it takes tact and strength to deal with him. The strength I'm working with is, bleeding in a sink full of tears and shards of my jealous skin towards her. The nerve he has to touch me, to look at me with sentimental value." She paused softly, her eyes soft, but yet glazed over with a new layer of tears. "That's how I feel about Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy."
Rolling back over on her back, she sighed, letting her hand fall from his face. She let a single tear fall from her eye, but pushing the others away. She then asked her question quickly, trying hard not to show weakness. "What are you feeling right now, Xavier? What kind of emotion?" She asked quietly, staring up at the stars, but not really looking at them. Her mind was wandering, a little too far for her liking.

Xavier was slightly shocked when his face was lifted from the ground, and he gaze locked with that of the beautful Nikita Snape. She had edged closer to him than when he had begun to hide, though he wasn't nessicarily upset by this point. Where her arm touched his, goosebumps rose up from the contact. But, he was even more shocked when she took a sad, depressed, but slightly angry tone. What she descirbed had every muscle in Xavier's body tense. He was ready to leap up and strange the living daylights out of Malfoy. He hated him, now more than ever. He was a cruel bastard and deserved to die. No, he deserved to marry Victoire Weasly. That was the worst punishment Xavier could think of. Pulling up his hand, he caught the single tear, and watched it flow down his finger. Looking away, he frowned. "What hurts more, knowing you should hate him, or knowing that you don't?" He frowned, further, as he looked back into the icy blue eyes, with his own, innocent-looking chocolate brown orbs. "What am I feeling? Well, a mixture of things. Relief, that you don't seem to be as obsessed with him as people say you are, Anger, that he's such an ass, Amusment, because the worst punishment I could think of for him is to marry your cousin, Vikki, frustration, beause most likely somone will catch me before I kill Scorpius, sadness, because you are sad, and...well, happy, because I get to sit on the bank of a lake, watching the stars, with you" He gave her a kind smile, and wrapped his arm around her, Xavier giving her a quick squeeze, and pulling back his arm just quickly. He wanted her to realize he wasn't here to judge, but to be her friend, which he was hoping they could manage.
The first thing that entered Nikita's mind was Xavier's question. It was one of his hardest so far, so she put it out of the way in her mind, focusing on his answer now. She felt herself smile, gently and then she blushed remembering him catching her fallen tear with his finger. She smiled again, then began speaking softly, staring deeply and adoringly into his dark eyes. "Wait... you think the worst punishment is him marrying Vikki?" She asked, laughing hysterically. "Ohh.. okay... now that is hilarious my friend!!!" She continued to laugh, then finally controlled herself. She smiled, then realized what the last thing he had said was. "Aww... you're soooo sweet you know that? I need a guy like that in my life. All the guys that have been in my life have all been ass holes. They've either done horrible stuff, or said horrible stuff. Or even had me puke up slugs. Well, of course they probably had a reason..." She said this with a slight humored tone in her voice, thinking back to the scene with Logan, Livi, Rosie, and Teddy. She laughed again, still looking deeply into Xavier's eyes.
Finally, Nikita began to think about the question she'd been asked. She talked quietly, again with a depressed tone. Oh how her emotions seemed to change tonight... "Those could go together I suppose. It hurts knowing that I should hate him, even though I really don't. I don't love him anymore though... so I guess that helps with the stabs of pain I feel every single day I see his face, or hear his name. When I see him, it feels like someone is inside of me, slicing up my heart slowly. This makes it feel like I'm bleeding eternally, and suffering. My heart feels torn, and damaged... but right now it's all fuzzy, and... well... kind of in love." Her last words were meant to sound romantic, which they did. She looked deeply into his eyes, realizing that her wish had already been granted. Xavier was the guy that her wish had been meant for. Her eyes grew wide, and warm, showing a certain amount of love. "My question now... what song describes this moment right now? In your opinion."

Xavier smiled, widely, the sound of her laugh making him almost drunk from pleasure. He decided he liked her laugh, and blushed, once again (He was doing a lot of blushing tonight! Xavier couldn't even remeber the last time he blushed before now!) from the compliment, another thing that was rare in hsi life. Well, not really, but tcompliments like that were. Most girls commented on how "Hot" he was, or how "Strong" he was, but he had never been called sweet. It wasn't exactly what he was known for. Few Slythereins were, he assumed. He shuddered, though, as she brought up puking slugs. He had experienced that more than once, and it was not a pleasant experience, that was for sure. And, the spell had been casted by weaklings the times it was performed on him. He couldn't even imagine how gross it would be if say, Charlotte or Kianthra jinxed him with it. "I don't wanna sound gay, wussy, or girly, but slugs are gross, especially if they come out of me." Xavier pointed out, in a disgusted kind of way. But, soemthing Nikita said as she continued to speak piqued his interest. "Kind of In Love" was what she said. Did that mean him? Because that would be a very pleasant thought, to the end of a rather odd day. He gave her one of his stunningly crooked grins, and snickered, moving on to her question. "My experience with music is very...limited, to say the least. But, stealing a song from my sister... You Found Me? The Fray. That was honestly the first thing I thought of. Very cliche, I know, but hey, you can't always expect genius, even from me!" He winked at her, and not in a "Hey there, pretty lady" kind of way, but more of a confidant, conspiritol way. "My turn...if you could be anywhere, right now, with anyone in the whole wide world, who'd it be with, and where?"
Nikita laughed at his first comment, responding ever-so quickly, "No, you don't sound gay or wussy, or any of those things you said. I mean seriously, I don't get grossed out by many things, but that is totally disgusting! It was horrible the first time it happened to me. I thought I was going to die for Christs' sake!" Nikita joined in on Xavier's laughing, flipping her dark hair over her shoulder. Then she cocked her head to the side thinking about both his answer to her question, and his question that she would have to answer. She responded quickly, and surely to both, "Not a bad choose Mr. Blake. Although I would've said something different. I have a wide variety of music as a matter of fact. Love Evanescence." She turned her attention on his question, trying to word it right, although the words seemed to place together automatically. "My father, if we can pick dead people, and it would be right here on this lake. Then there would be you, you're my alive person, and it would probably be at Hogsmeade!"
Nikita laughed, then hurriedly moved on to her question for Xavier. "Okay how about this one... who do you like at this very moment in your life? You have to answer this one though... no exceptions!" She laughed gently, trying to get deeper and deeper into his emotions, and personal life. She saw him wink, and quickly winked back at him, while making a clicking sound with her tongue. She smiled widely at him, happy that he was here with her. At that moment she felt a rush of pure joy, and happiness rush through her. She was very happy, and she hoped with all her heart that Xavier was too.

"Hogsmeade? Hmm..... That'd be pleasant...what'cha doing on Tuesday? I gotta exam in Muggle Studies that day, and I would like very much to skip it, if you don't mind. A suitable companion would be nice." He smiled, propping himself up on his elbows, and looking at the sky as he considered her question. It wasn't one he would like to answer, for fear of being too forward. This morning, he had thought his girlfriend was cute, but he did not actually like her. Nikita Snape, on the other hand, he thought he might. Maybe my wish actually came true. That's odd. I guess there's some truth to the old stories. He was afraid of love, but being with her made him less afraid. Less afraid of the pain and rejection. Starting out as a whisper, Xavier began to speak once more. He was barely audible, but his voice was strong. "I do not like many people. I've dated many, put up with many, but usually because this is expected of me, and because I hate rejection. How can I expect people to accept me when I reject them? These end up bad, and to answer your question, I like no one, but there is something more, with perhaps this one girl, who I barely know, yet it feels like we've been friends for years. Now, my mind's been a reeling, and a spinning, and my heart's been a flopping, and a twisting, but I guess it can't be helped. Now, I lay here, wondering if she thinks the same. If she feels the same, and if she doesn't, if we can be friends, and see where we go from there...I think that counts as a question and an answer. Yus! I am an absolute genius!" He chuckled, and let out a sigh. He never understood the motions of the heart. He had sworn off of the stuff a long time ago. Hearts skipping beats, loosing his breath, stomach flipping into odd shapes. Now that couldn't be safe.
Nikita smiled, listening to Xavier's words curiously. She turned her head to meet his eyes, as he spoke his last couple sentences. She let her hand find his easily, and she entwined fingers, like everyone else would do. She smiled earnestly at him, hey pale blue eyes loving for the first time in her life. Well, that's what it seemed like tonight. She sighed, deciding how to word her answer to BOTH of his questions. The one about what she was doing Tuesday, and the one about if she felt the same way that he felt. She swallowed the big frog in her throat, that seemed to sneak up on her in no time at all. "Hmmm... well I was thinking about skipping anyways, so I suppose I could be your companion during that time." She smiled sweetly at him, her voice hanging in the air after she finished answering his first question.
Slowly, Niki continued answering his next question, "Well, if your asking me if I feel the unknown connection we have, or that I really 'like' like you... then the answer is going to be yes. Actually let me rephrase that... Hell to the yes! I hope that's clear enough for you... is it?" She smiled, squeezing his hand lovingly. She could feel her quick heart beat in her throat, as well as another rising frog. "I think my wish came true, Xavier. Has yours yet?" She asked her face now showing no emotion what-so-ever.

Xavier's hand met hers, and he had to smile at the fact that hs dwarfed hers. But, he noticed her loving glance, and returned it. He was bad at this, he could already tell, but he guess Nikita would just have to deal with it. He wasn't going anywhere for a while. Infact, he wasn't leaving until she kicked Xavier's ass out on the curb. "I think that's enough. Thanks" He had to laugh outloud, his voice silencing the crickets, who, for some reason, suddenly decided that the two on the bank were too boring to harass with chirps and squeaks. Xavier's grin grew even wider as she brought up that her own wish had seemed to come true, infront of her very eyes. 'Yeah...I think it did. Did we wish the same thing? Ahh, I dunno if we should tell each other that. Then the wishing gods might decide to take them back. That wouldn't be very nice." He tilted his head, and watched the ebb and flow of the tide. "Wanna go swimming?" The Slytherein asked, pushing himself back up to a sitting position. The water would be freezing at this time of night, but the cold rarely bothered him. Not even waiting for Nikita's answer, he began stripping off his hoodie, and fumbling with the buttons on his shirt underneath. He was going for a dip, even if she wasn't.
Niki rolled her eyes at his statement. She jumped up with him, talking as she pulled her jacket off slowly. "I hate it when you wish that you can't tell anyone about it! It sucks! Doesn't it? I guess that could be your question..." Nikita laughed gently, as Xavier ran into the water. She pulled her shirt over her head, and shrugged out of her shorts. She was left in her black spandex, and her sports bra. She ran towards screaming, "CANNON-BALL!!!" She grabbed her knees, plummeting into the large area of the Lake. Her splash was small though, not near as big as Xavier's splash. She laughed at this though, paying no attention to the icy coldness the water brought to her. Darkness and coldness were her best friends.
Nikita smiled widely, as she swam over to Xavier, dunking his head under the surface of the water. She didn't, or couldn't, hold him there long, so she let her hands fall from his head, as she swam away from him not wanting to get dunked under the water. She laughed swimming back to him, realizing that he wasn't going to dunk her, or was he? She tackled him in the water, a smile spread across her face. They were under the water for what seemed like an hour, until they both lost their breath, and had to swim to the surface once again. "Oh... and... yeah... I wanna... go... swimming." She said, gasping for air in between words.

Xavier had hardely even jumped in before he could hear Nikita's shout. He smiled as mini waves washed over him, plastering his hair down over his eyes. Pushing the strands away, he snickered as he watched Nikita's pale figure stroke towards him, gracefully. He shivered, as Xavier treaded water, barely touching the bottom on the shallow bit, for it was covered in mud and weeds, which meant for perilous footing. The two lone figures headed out for the deeper stuff, the cold stinging Xavier's lungs as he gasped in the frigid air. "Was it this co-" He blew air out of his nose as he was suddenly pressed under the water. He was doing his best not to burst into a fit of laughter, for then, water would flood into his orphages and drown him. Kicking, rapidly, he managed to break free, and laughed into the night. He swam in a slight circle, searching for his attacker, and spotted Nikita swimming away, fearing that she too would be dunked. "That was rude, Niki!" He called out in between spurts of chuckling. Xavier waited a moment, staring at the stars, until he felt someone tackling him into the black waters. He opened his eyes, as he dove deeper, and smiled as he saw her, clear as day, her blue eyes even lighter underneath the waves and water. They were under for a while, merely staring at each other, until his lungs were about to burst. His head breaking the surface, a nearby splash alerted Xavier that Nikita had done the same. He smiled as she answered his question, and began pulling her until he could stand up, where he held her up, cradling ehr like a child, and said, "I'm thinking of a color"
