Brendon smiled against her lips and kissed her again. He hadn't been this happy since the last time he was in this room only that time he was with Tess. This time he was deep in a make-out session with Tricia (6th year Slytherin.) They had met before and were great friends. When Tess left Brendon sought comfort. Tess was his girlfriend as well as his best friend so whithout her he was lost. He started chatting to Tricia and one thing led to another. He missed Tess terribly and still loved her, but she had made it clear that they had to move on. So this was him, moving on. He increased the intensity of the kiss and pushed her down and lay over her still kissing. He suddenly remembered the last time he was with Tess in here and frowned. She would have found someone else by now so he would have to do the same.
Smile planted gracefully, and evenly on Tess' face, she walked through the corridors. She was so happy to be back in the homey castle. Many of the students, and Professors, felt as though the castle was their home, but Tess felt differently. It was nothing of the sort, it was more like a dwelling. Totally different than a home in her mind. Her home was in Brendon's strong arms, which she missed so very much. She remembered everything they had, had together, but suddenly her face grew grim, remembering the horrible breakup. She still wanted him though. There was no denying it. She had talked to Brendon's mom, at it had made her grow a new heart for Brendon. She now understood his pain the way he always thought about it.
So, walking the corridors, thinking about nothing, or no one, but Brendon was Tess. Her long blond hair reached down to her hips, if longer than that. It was perfectly straight, but in random areas she had curled it to perfection for that little extra 'zing!' She had tried her best to look simply flawless on that day, ready to approach Brendon and tell her that she still loved him, and wanted him back. That she was wrong, and her whole world revolved around them. She walked up to the nearest Slytherin, whom was friends with Brendon asking him kindly where Brendon was. He responded by pointing, which was odd enough without the fact that he was pointing at Classroom eleven. She thanked him, her eyes wide with appreciation.
Walking towards the door, Tess ran over her words in her mind, trying to also get them perfect. Her heart raced with immense precision, her breathing hard, but yet controlled. Finally, she pushed open the door walking inside a huge smile on her face. One moment it was there, as the door closed behind her, but the next it was gone. Her once happy filled emerald green eyes now lay in a blanket filled of abandonment, and hurt. Her mouth fell open slightly, and her hand flew up to her mouth covering it. She felt as if the sky was falling, and as if she was about to die. Her stomach clenched uneasily, making her other hand fly to her stomach. Her voice sounded cracked as she spoke, whilst she turned on her heel, "I--I'm... sor--ry-- for inter--upting."

Brendon tried to put Tess out of his mind, but he couldn't. He shut his eyes trying to enjoy the kiss but all he could think about was how much better Tess was. He craved her touch, her lips her body her everything. He suddenly heard the door open and broke off the kiss looking round. His stomach plumitted as he stared between Tess and Tricia. "Hey Tess." he said getting up and walking towards her.
Tess' mind reeled as she looked at Brendon dumbfounded. She wanted to run out of the room and bawl her eyes out, but of course her mind felt like it needed to do something else. Be immensely rude to this chick, and Brendon. Her voice was filled with hurt, but there was also a hint of sarcasm in it, "'Hey Tess?!' That's seriously what you're going to say to me?" She rolled her eyes, turning her head to look at Brendon's little play mate. "Who the hell are you?!" Her voice was snappy, and her green eyes were haunted. She flipped her hair over her shoulder, looking the girl up and down with striking, eyes that yelled, "You better shut the hell up or else, bitch."
Finally ripping her eyes away from Brendon's obvious rebound girl, she looked at Brendon. Her eyes were pleading now, and heartbroken. A single tear dropped from her eye, but she pushed the rest back up. 'No more crying, Kerli Tess Draven. No more. He's not worth it... not anymore. This world is hell, and love is dead.' She thought to herself feverently. "Excuse me, but I'm going to leave. I'm tired of standing here, and taking all this bull shit. I'm done with it. Love is dead. Remember that, Brendon." She hissed, finally turning on her heel to walk out of the door.

Brendon frowned looking at her, angry about how she found him. He took a deep breath "Tess, I've missed you so much. I'm sorry I really am. We had broken up and I thought you had moved on." he said pleadingly. He felt his heart break. He looked round at Tricia and watched her recoil from Tess' fury. He got up and saw her shed a tear and scowled feeling even worse than before. He walked over to her and tried to put his arm around her. He stopped himself after he heard the last part and shook his head "No Tess don't leave! Love will never die. I love you and I always will." he said feeling terrible.
Tess' eyebrows furrowed as she watched Brendon with weary, heartbroken eyes. She shook her head looking at Tricia. "Yeah, well there's your answer. I haven't moved on. I was never planning to, either. I guess you have though." Her voice wasn't fierce like she had intended. It was broken, and shattered. Exactly like her heart. Her eyes showed this feeling easily, and Tess did nothing to hide it, or even surpress the expression that no longer hid behind her, 'I'm okay' mask that she wore everyday since the breakup. She shook her head, running a shaky hand throughout her long blond layers. She pushed him away, her voice icy as she spoke with venom, "You're new forever and always is waiting on you, Keaton". The last word slid off of her tongue, with a sudden darkness.
Rolling her eyes, Tess looked at Brendon. Her thoughts seemed to jumble up all together, making her angry. She wished she could just focus on one thing, and one thing only. "You know... it's great that you're sorry. It's going to take a while for me to forgive you though. And... I missed you too. A lot... more thanyou'll ever know, but... then this happened. I'm just tired of it Brendon." Slowly, she began responding to his next statement, her voice shaky, but no tears coming. "No. Love has already died. Twice. This will be the third time, and the final time my heart will be broken. I know that you love me, but is it enough? That would be a no. A hell no." She looked down at her feet, not able to look into Brendon's eyes amymore. "I just... can't do this. Goodbye..."

Brendon heard what she said and shook his head "Tess, I havn't moved on. Not at all. I love you too much." He knew that she had caught him kissing, but Tricia was a rebound. He loved Tricia as a friend but nothing more. Her voice killed him inside. He was taken aback when she spoke icily. She had never adopted that tone with him before and he felt his chest constrict.
As she spoke again about him apologizing he frowned hating himself fro causing this. He heard her say that and he felt tears come into his eyes and shook his head putting his arms around her "Love has not and will never die. At least mine won't. I love you so much. I don't know what I would do if I lost you as a friend and as mine. I am so sorry I broke your heart, I promise never again if you give me another chance. I won't break it again I give you my vow." he knew that she knew that he would never break a vow.
Laughing at Brendon's words, she rolled her now devious eyes at him. "Please, love. What a silly word that is now. Since I don't have a heart anymore, considering that you demolished it way too many times to count." She sneered, crossing her arms over her chest stubbornly. "Look at yourself Brendon! You were just caught having a hot make-out session with this chick, which probably would've developed into something more if I hadn't walked in, and you expect me to believe you haven't moved on?!" Her eyebrows furrowed as she watched him, and then turned her emerald green eyes on Tricia. "Hey, guess what. I don't want his skinny white ass anymore. You can have him."
Her words were like venom, and she didn't necessarily want to speak them. Then she felt Brendon's arms go around her, and listened intently as she spoke. Then, after he spoke his very last word, she nailed him in the gut with her knee. He fell to the floor, and Tess smiled down at him cheerfully. "Ahh, see my love has died though Brendon, and you've had too many chances, and failed all of them. I accept your apology for breaking my heart, but it doesn't take away the pain." She sighed continuing idly, "Okay, thanks for your vow, but I don't want it. I don't want anything from you anymore. It will just die in the palm of my hand like our love did. This is hell, Brendon and we're all it's demons. Get use to it." Her hand now rested on the doorknob of the classroom.

Brendon shook his head wishing that he could turn back time. He loved her not Tricia. He carried on shaking his head "That wasn't a hot make out session. For the entire time I was wishing it was you I was kissing. You are 100 times better. I swear it wouldn't have developed into anything." He frowned as she said she didn't want him and looked away from her not being able to take it anymore.
He suddenly fell to the gorund clutching his stomach as she had kneed him. He looked up at her feeling tears trickle down his face as she spoke throwing everything back in his face. He shook his head and stood up as he saw her hand on the door. "No Tess just give us one last try." he said. He walked to her and kissed her fiercely and passionatly and put everything into that one kiss.
Tess smirked slightly, as she watched Tricia stomp out of the room angrily. The door slammed behind her, leaving the two x's alone... in the room where so much had happened, in so little time. She turned her face away from his, seeing the hurt in his eyes. She smiled at one of his statement, shrugging slightly. "Well, that's because I was probably one hundred times better than her... but it still doesn't change what you did." She fought the smile away, keeping on her 'I'm fine with this' mask. Lies. She wasn't fine with anything. She still wanted Brendon, but in her heart she had the feeling that she would just get hurt once again. Her heart ached for him though, as she pulled herself to look at him again.
"You remember when... you swore to me that nothing would happen to us... break us apart... do you remember that. It was actually right in this room. After... everything." She looked at him, on the ground, tears streaming down his face. But, none came down hers, as she continued in a soulless voice, "And what happened? You broke that swear Brendon... and it hurt. More than anything. So i can I believe, or trust you anymore?" She looked at him, her eyes pleading, but suddenly they closed, with the feeling of Brendon's lips against hers. Slowly, her hand lifted up to his cheek, stroking it absent mindidly. Her thoughts seemed to loose control as she kissed him back. She hadn't meant to though.

Brendon shook his head getting slightly peeved that he was being totally blamed. "You broke up with me before you left. I didn't break my swear because we weren't together." He didn't want to say this as it sounds like he trying to get out of it but he had to say it. He frowned as she questioned his trustworthiness "You can trust me. I have known you for 16 years. You know you can trust me." He kissed her and felt her kiss him back smiling. He felt her hand on his cheek and carried on the kiss not wanting to pull away at all.
Tess took another step closer to Brendon, feeling their bodies brush against eachother. She continued to kiss him back, and a feeling rushed through her that wasn't normal. She hadn't experienced it before, and in a way it scared her. It felt stronger than it ever had before when they had kissed. Finally, she pulled away from the kiss, leaning her forehead on his upper chest. Her arms wrapped around him securely, holding him against her. Tears trembled down her face, as she held on to him, feeling at home. Finally. Her voice shook as she spoke to him, the words innevitable. "I'm sorry," Her voice was shaky as she let the tears roll down her cheeks, falling to the ground as they had so many times before. She was tired of crying, and ready to stop, right then and there.
Tess looked up at Brendon, letting her arms drop from him. She took a step away from him, leaning against the wall. Her face was filled with sorrow, as were her eyes. She raised her hand up to his face, pulling him closer to her. "Please... tell me that we're going to be together forever, Brendon. I'm tired of guessing that we will be. I just want to know for a fact that nothing will ever seperate us again. I wont be mad at you anymore Brendon. I wont. Can I have you back?"

Brendon felt her body against his and smiled glad that she was closer to him. He heightened the kiss and felt her break it nervous. He smiled as she put her head on his chest. He held her to him never wanting to let her go and he smiled as she apologized and held her. He let her go as she moved away, but smiled as she pulled him to her. After he heard what she said he nodded "As far as I am concerned. I have been stupid and let you go twice I am not doing that a third time. I promise that I want you here with me forever. I love you so much. Nothing will seperate us again." He walked forwards and pushed her agianst the wall and kissed her, his hands running up and down her body "Of course you can have me back." he whispered into her ear and then nibbled at it.
Heart racing, and eyes scanning the boy in front of her, Tess kissed him gently on the cheek, pulling away just as quickly. Finally, Tess' body relaxed and she smiled at Brendon. Her eyes were back to their normal, friendly tone, and her voice was back to it's normal tone also. She took his hand gently in hers, the smile on her face never fading. "Damn right that you were stupid to do that." She said, her voice gentle, "Okay... but this time you better be for real, babe. 'Cause I'm tired of having this broken heart under my chest. It just doesn't feel good." This time her smile faded, as she spoke, but her eyes didn't change. They still showed happiness, courage, and trust, which was the way she liked it.
Laughing as Brendon pushed her against the wall, Tess looked up into Brendon's eyes, a smile etched across her face once more. She let him kiss her, and let his hands run down her curved figure. She smiled at this fact, pulling away from the kiss quickly, to respond to Brendon. "Thank you Lord." she said, her voice extremely happy, and perky. She pulled him close to her, kissing him passionately. Then suddenly, she jumped into his arms, laughing. She continued the kiss, though, not wanting to break it at all. Her heart seemed to explode wit joy, as she kissed him, feeling her heart mend itself back together slowly.

Brendon closed his eyes as she kissed him on the cheek. He felt her body relaxed and smiled glad that she had forgiven him. "This is real love, I promise, I love you too much to jepodise it again. I never want your heart to break again." he said and kissed her again. He carried on pressing against her and moved his hands around her curves. When she jumped into his arms he caught her easily and held her in his muscular arms still kissing passionatly. "I love you so much." he whispered against her lips and then kissed her again.
