Nikita smiled as Zane sat down next to her. "Well, I use to, when I was a little kid. I would play with my cousins. It wasn't like real Qudditch though. We just played for fun. I wanted to play here, but I didn't make the cut. I never tried out again, though. My cousins play the game still, but I don't play with them. I don't even consider them part of my family, except for Rosie, and Louis. Victoire, and I... we just.. hate eachother's guts." Nikita sighed softly as she finished her speech, and looked at Zane. "Oh go on. I know you want to talk about it! Maybe you could teach me, and I could play next year? I know you're the Quidditch captain, and the Seeker." Nikita laughed, and then decided to let Zane talk.

Zane listened carefully before saying, "Yes I think I remember Rosie mentioning something about playing Quidditch with you years and years ago." At the offer of teaching Niki quidditch he said, "sure I'll teach you, if you want. Chaser, Beater, Keeper or Seeker?" Well everyone knows I'm the Gryffindor Captain and Seeker. The most dedicated, determined and crazy, since Oliver Wood, all those years ago, yeah thanks for that Ted. "You could join me for a few two in the morning practices if you want, then no one will no we're meeting up, although the only danger is, there's a high risk of detention, for me that is. You might be alright, all the teachers seem to like you."
Nikita listened to Zane quietly, taking in every word. "Probably chaser... seems like it would be easy, since there is three spots. And, I can't argue with all the teacher's liking me." Nikita paused to chuckle, and then continued, softly, "You wont get caught as long as you're with me Zane. There's simply no way." Nikita promised Zane quietly. Nikita hardly ever got caught. As Zane said, all the teachers liked her. She didn't know why though. It was a nice plus though. Nikita smiled softly, looking at Zane. "That's fine with me, as long as you're a good teacher?" Nikita had a question in her tone, and she hoped that Zane had caught on to it. She knew he had though. She actually had no doubt in her mind. Zane was a very smart young man.

"Well you can definitely take my sister's place on the team, she won't be needing it next year." It was weird thinking about leaving Hogwarts, the seven years here seemed to have flown by pretty rapidly. "Well I'm glad I won't get caught, I'm fed up of detention with Duros and Avero, but of course, you've probably never had the pleasure of picking orange mushrooms for three hours..." he laughed as he said this. Of course Nikita would never have got detention from Avero or Duros, they both seemed to love her. As Niki moved the topic back to his teaching, Zane simply said, "Well I'll try my best, they didn't make me captain for nothing, you know. Hey, maybe you'll be captain next year once Charlotte's left." That really would be good. No doubt Nikita would thrive if given responsibility to train a team of her own.
Nikita laughed at the words Zane spoke. 'He definitely wont get caught. there's simply no way.' Nikita's thoughts were truthful. They wouldn't get caught. Zane's thoughts drifted softly through Niki's head, as she thought hard about them. "That would be amazing, if I could be captain. Or even apart of the team for that matter. Maybe I can be. So, when do you think we should start practicing?" Nikita's words were even, and came out softly. She really wanted this, but not as much as being in the DE. The DE was everything to her. As was Corliss, her best friend. Pretty soon Zane would be everything to her also. Zane meant a lot to her, but she didn't know why. She was excited for practice, too. It would take a lot of hard work, but Niki could do it. She knew for a fact she could. She was ready to put her heart into practice, with Zane. She was prepared.

"Whenever really, the sooner the better though." Zane said quietly with another signiture smile. This is going to be great. Niki means a lot to me, why? I just don't know. I've just got a gut feeling that we've got to look out for each other. "We could probably have a practice tonight if you would like. I don't think the pitch is booked, well even if it is no one will be there at around midnight." The best time to learn to fly would be midnight. Everyone thinks it's best to learn when you can see your surroundings, but learning quidditch in the pitch black sharpens your senses, well that's what Zane had read in the Prophet. "So Niki, are you up for the challenge?"
Nikita's jaw dropped, as if she was hurt, or surprised by the words Zane had spoken. "Am I up for the challenge? Me?" Nikita's finger pointed to her face, as she stared at him, with a smile spreading on her face. "Am I ever NOT up for the challenge? Of course I am!" Laughter burst from her, as she finished speaking the last word. "I hope your ready? Cause, I want to do practice tonight. I think it would be great to start as soon as possible. And I think this is as soon as we can get." Nikita smiled at Zane, and placed her hands in her lap, feeling peaceful. She looked around the room, trying to find anyone watching them. Her striking pale blue eyes didn't catch any sign of movement, nor did her ears hear any. No breathing, no moving, well except Zane's, and her's. She shrugged her shoulders, and looked back at Zane, her eyes soft once more.

"I know, I know, I was just testing," he smiled again, of course Niki would be up for it. "Yes I'm ready and sure I'll give you some coaching tonight. Erm, just one question...what kind of broom do you have?" He paused waiting for Nikita's response before continuing, "I'll look forward to it." Zane closed his eyes for a few seconds, just listening to the silence, only broken by light breathing. So peaceful and relaxing, I should definitely come up here more often. It's so quiet, it's like a different world from Hogwarts entirely.
Nikita smiled at Zane pleasantly, a laugh hidden deep in her voice. "I have a firebolt. I haven't used it in a really long time though. Of course that will be changing very soon." Nikita watched Zane, and she knew that he was pondering through him thoughts. He didn't seem to interested in them though. He was suddenly turned towards Nikita, his thoughts completely gone. Well, for a while. "I Can't wait, Zane!"

"The old one? I'd have thought you might have followed my sister and Mr Ebony, ordering the Firebolt II on the day it was released. Well I prefer the old one anyway," he smiled looking forward to the training sessions. "So after dinner then? That will give you time to eat something and get all of your stuff ready. Oh and make sure you bring a jumper, it gets really cold around midnight." He smiled again, longing to be flying around the hoops and soaring above the Quidditch Pitch.
"Okay, cool! That should all work out perfectly. Do you want to do something right now? Or just stay in here?" Nikita questioned the blond boy sitting next to her. She smiled at him happily, and then began to speak once more. "I hope we can be friends for a long time Zane. If we can't then I'll never forget this memory." Niki cocked her head to the side as she spoke, trying to evaluate Zane's expression.

"I'm happy to stay here, unless you want to go somewhere in particular," Zane said quietly with a small smile. "I hope so too, though of course we'll have to pretend to hate each other in front of our own groups, which is going to be very difficult." The smile disappeared as he thought of the DE and New Order finding out that him and Niki were friends. Accusations, jinxes and curses being thrown everywhere. Please don't let it come to that. He quickly cleared the thoughts from his mind trying not to dwell on it.
Nikita shrugged as Zane spoke. She really didn't care where they went. She then decided it would be too risky to go anyone else. Especially at this time. They would need to meet up when no one else would notice. Niki then focused her thoughts on the rest of Zane's words. "Well, yeah! But, I think I can handle it... and I'm pretty sure you can, Mr.Zaney." Nikita laughed as she watched Zane, with curiosity. She wondered why they cared about each other so much. It was very odd for Niki to feel like this towards a New Order member. Especially the leader!

Actually it would probably be best if we stayed here, I definitely don't want another detention with Duros or Avero. The biggest secret so far, well I hope it stays a secret. Niki's response pulled Zane back into the present. He realised he had been staring at the floor for three minutes. "Yeah I can," he nodded as he said this. He returned the Slytherin's gaze, watching her expression change. "Are you investigating me? Surely you already know everything about me?" he said, looking at Nikita with a puzzled expression. Why do I feel so, I dunno, content, is that the word? I never thought I'd be friends with anyone in the DE, let alone in the Inner Circle. She's different though, she's not like them.
"Do I know everything Zane? I don't think I do... but I think it would be better if I didn't know EVERYTHING. If you know what I mean..." Nikita's words floated through the air, and she looked at Zane, with an expression in her eyes. She knew that he knew what she meant. He was smart enough to figure it out on his own without Niki having to explain it. Laughing Niki took the conversation in a different direction. "What are you thinking Zane?" This was one of those times that Niki wished she had Kia's ability. She wanted to know what Zane was thinking, even if it would be invading his mind. Her only choice now was to ask him what he was thinking. It was kinda weird too, but she would be able to handle it. She cocked her head to the side looking at Zane with some what pale blue, curious eyes.
