James scowled at the news of two weeks detention and looked way from Avero and glared at Niki "You are going to pay for that." he mouthed to her furious. He thought Protago and cast the shield around him making sure that they couldn't attack him again.

Victoire snarled, silently as the two snakes attacked James, getting him detention. At least I won't be alone She thought to herself. This was too much, and Avero wasn't doing anything about it. He was helping them! She wasn't about to let this go, and she pulled her wand out, hiding it beneath her desk, while the 'Quick Quotes Quill' she had bought from her Uncle's shop continued a perfect list of notes. She had been practicing her nonverbals since the inccident on the stairs, and so, with nearly perfect results, she though the spell, [Furnunculus, and did her best not to laugh as Nikita and Corliss began busting out in very red, angry, very painful boils. Quickly, she cast the Protego, so Avero would see that if he used Prior Incanto spell to see which spell she last used. She then stuck the wand back into her boot, and put her quote quill her pocket, for safe keeping.

James watched as Victoire attacked the girls and smiled as they came up in the red boils. He tried not to laugh otherwise his detention schedule would be very hectic. He lent over to Victoire and whispered "Nice one cous!"

Corliss felt the boils form on her skin. She shot a look at the Weasley and Potter. Her boil covered arm shot into the air. She threw her perfectly fine looking mask to be replaced by a horror struck face. Avero looked at the two boil covered Slytherin girls. "Oh my! Corliss! Nikita! Who did this to you?" the professor asked. She let out a fake sob. "Oh Professor! It was Victoire! She sent the spell! James was telling her how well she did!" she cried, making the Gryffindors gag. She fought a smile as Avero looked at the two girls again. "Shrink the boils Corliss, I know you are great at that.." he said, turning to face the two Gryffindors. Corliss smirked at them, sending snickers through her fellow Slytherins. "As for you two, I'd say another two weeks of dentition added to your current two weeks." he said smoothly. Corliss shrunk her boils quickly. Leaving no mark of her once hideous skin. She looked at her best friend and chuckled, aiming her wand at the girls body. She began to deflate the ugly boils. Corliss was finished in a matter of minuets. "There you go my friend." she said, casting a simple shield around her little group. Corliss then remembered Potter's remark about her paying for what they had done. She gave him another grin. "Screw you! You wouldn't dare lay a finger on me. Scorpius won't... Allow it." she mouthed, gesturing toward her older brother.
Nikita gave Victoire, and ugly stare, as boils popped up on her skin. 'Is that really the best she can do?! Stupid, girl.' Nikita thought angrily to herself. She turned her head, and watched as Corliss took of her boils. Then she thanked, Corliss, with a soft nod. Nikita couldn't help, but chuckle, when the Potter boy, and the stupid Weasley, got another two weeks, worth of detention. Today was going so great. Nikita couldn't have asked for more. She glanced back over at Scorpius, as Corliss said his name. Her eyes softened, and then hardened, once she turned her head quickly back towards, the Potter, and Weasley. When were they gonna learn to get over themselves? That they were never going to win, and that they had no chance for that matter. They needed to get it pounded in their small heads, as soon as possible. Niki wanted to teach them a lesson. That would please her so much. Nikita grabbed the note laying on her desk, and ripped it open. Her eyes darted across, the page, ready to hand it back to Corliss. She snickered lightly as she read what Corliss had wrote. 'Nice one! That's what I said, no? Oh give me a break, you need permission sometimes!' Nikita snickered, at the letter, and then she grabbed her quill, dipping it lightly into the dark black ink, sitting on her desk. She looked up at Avero, checking to see if he was looking, and then placed the Quill's point, onto the parchment. 'Yeah, well I guess so. It just makes me feel better if I do it without permission... do you know what I mean? It's very odd... but it makes me feel a whole lot more free!' Nikita threw the note back over to Corliss, and then looked around, the classroom, eying, James, and Victoire.

"But, sir" Victoire began with the perfect mixture of innocence and confusion. "James was telling me how well my notes were, and my wand was in my pocket the entire time, sir." Avero eyed her, suspiciously, but he walked over to her desk, where she placed the the wand, for him to grab. He took the bait, and picked up her wand, as if it were something diseased. With a hand of practice, he waved the wand, muttering, "Prior Incanto". The wand seemed to smile as a small shield erupted from it's tip. Protego. Avero growled, but this was waterproof evidence. Only the notes could back it up. He grabbed her parchment, and looked it over, a nearly perfect copy of his lecture. This irritated him, further, but he had no choice. "This wand did not cast the spell, so give me your wand, Potter" He dropped Victoire's, turning his back to her, where she stuck out her tongue, and mouthed, "Sorry" with a cocky smile.

James looked up at Victoire and smiled slightly. It was a good idea with the protago. Luckily, his wand had cast the exact same spell. He drew his wand out of his pocket and handed it to Avero.
Avero treated it exactly like Victoires and cast "Priori Incantato" and the same sign for protago appeared. He scowled and threw James' wand back to him.
James smiled and put his wand away. He looked over at Corliss and mouthed "I don't care about Scorpius I'm not worried about him, I will dare so bring it."

Corliss grinned and looked at Avero. "But sir, what if Miss Weasley cast that spell after she sent the other one at Nikita and me? She is quite smart." she offered, her eyes wide with fake innocences. Avero nodded his head in agreement. "Ah, fine point to make Miss Malfoy." he nodded, turning to the Gryffindors. "Seeing as I have already given you both three weeks of detention. I will take another 20 points from Gryffindor!" he announced. She laughed, a smug smile coming onto her face. Scorpius looked at her, the same look on his face. She glanced at Potter in time to read his lips. "Oh, you just did it Potter! Dare and you shall receive. You had better be deathly afraid of the two of us. You and you stupid family stand no chance!" she mouthed, the grin still there. She went back to acting about the paying attention to class.

James scowled at the news of 20 points from the house and looked towards Corliss reading her lips again and smirked "I should be afraid of you?" he mouthed trying not to laugh my family are fine we don't have to be afraid of lowlifes like you two." He knew that he was on dangerous territory now but he didn't care.

Corliss looked at the Potter boy, a smug look crossing her pretty features. Scorpius looked at her again. He had been watching James. "See brother? James isn't scared of us. He thinks we are low lives! I think we should teach him a lesson." she mouthed, tapping her best friends arm. She looked back to face her. "James needs to learn a lesson. He isn't going to call Malfoys and Snapes' lowlifes." she muttered to her friend. Her eyes caught her target again. "Why should you be afraid of us? I thought you were smart, guess I was wrong. Well, we are just better than you. You are to 'goody goody' to cast an amazing Imperious curse. Oh, and you are just stupid." she mouthed, thinking on what curse to send. It couldn't be a baby spell, seeing as though he had a shield up.

Victoire hissed under her breath, thinking to herself the millions of ways she'd kill Corliss if they met alone in a dark alley and the Malfoy didn't have a wand. She was a bitch, that Malfoy, and not the female dog. She was one of those people who'd end up in Azkaban the secon they got out of school, for using an Unforgivable on a six-year-old for bumping into her at the Market. Vikki couldn't wait for that day. She really couldn't. Smiling, she knew what she's have to do. Corliss may have been a better spellcaster, and a far better liar than herself, but Victoire doubted she'd be any good at physically defending herself. A simple snap of the wand, and she'd be far more conent than neccisary to punch her in the nose, or give her a black eye to match her black heart.

James scowled as he noticed Scorpius watching him. He glared at Scorpius daring him to act and turned back to Corliss and mouthed "The smart thing to do is not having to resort to those curses, I am the smart one out of us two." He then smirked and mouthed "Not too difficult to be smarter than you." He recast his shield making sure that if Corliss did send a curse his way that it would hold.

Victoire snickered, silently, as James insulted Corliss's intelligence. She pulled out a piece of parchment, and scribbed down in her neat writing,
It doesn't take much to insult her intelligence. I know dogs smarter than her
She quickly cast a nonverbal destruction charm in case anyone besides James got ahold of it, and folded it neatly into a paper airplane, sending it to him, while Avero's back was turned.

James caught the aeroplane and opened it and read the contents and smirked slightly but not enough for Avero to see. He took his quill out and wrote Very true Vik! By the way, nice touch with the perfect notes any chance of me borrowing them later so I can compare mine and make sure I didn't miss anything?. He paused looking around and when no one was looking threw it back to Victoire.

Easily, and a little too show-offy, Victoire caught the paper as it flew through the air, and unfolded it easily. She chuckled, silently.
I doubt you missed anything, but, yeah, man. Next time you plan on doing anything that would be considered 'rash' or 'hasty' or 'stupid', let me know, and you can borrow my Quick Quotes Quill!
Boredly, she folded it into an airplane, and tossed it James's way, smiling as it did a loop-de-loop in mid-air, and landed neatly on his desk.
