As much as he hated it, that time of the month made him quite temperamentally. No, it wasn't PMS, it was his goddamned werewolf genes. He usually wasn't too bad, and teachers usually left him alone, but Professor Newton had laid it hard on him today, especially bringing up his father. Teddy had completely snapped at him, and Newt, as they liked to call him, sent him out of class. Bright red haired, Teddy stormed out, never wanting to see that bloody man again.
This wasn't the first time this had to Ted, teachers sometimes like to bring up his parents. Not that it didn't get harder, but sometimes he would just need to head out to the only thing that reminded him of them and plop himself down, and let himself wallow in his sorrows. And that's exactly what he was doing. His hair was a dark shade of blue and he just watched the whomping willow trying to attack a few birds that flew over head. It never bother Teddy, probably because it sensed he was part werewolf. Which he like to think of himself as part freak.
Harry had given him the spell to freeze the tree so he could go to the Shrieking Shack in his fifth year. He did it sometimes, when he absolutely wanted to be alone. But sitting down on the Hogwart's field seemed quite alright for now. He'd be fine to attend Charms next period, he just needed a breather.

Victoire frowned as she stalked the grounds. Full moon must have either been that night, or soon, because Victoire was already getting irritated. She swore, loudly as she stubbed her toe on a rock, and, in her frustration, kicked it as hard as she could, making her shout words that would make even her Uncle Ron blush. Glowering, she looked around and spotted a figure sitting by the Whomping Willow, and becasuse few other students would dare to be that close, she knew exactly who it was. She also knew he'd resent her for what she was about to do. Silently, she walked towards the tree, rolling her eyes as it chased a squirrel with one of it's branches. She wasn't sure if she should do this, but... "Bad day, Ted?" She asked, when she was about ten feet away. She knew how she felt, and her father was only partial werewolf. His father had been the real deal. She watched him, carefully, wondering if he was gonna yell at her, or chase her away.
Teddy would flare with anger if it was any other day, but because he felt like he needed someone, and Victorie did have a small part werewolf in her DNA, so she did suffer like him every month, he might as well talk to her. "Newton. Laid it on hard today. Brought up my Dad, in a way that just said he rather not have met my father in the first place." Ted muttered, not looking up, but he wasn't going to shoo his friend away either. "And the moon isn't helping either, stupid genes." Tedd sighed, his hair turning a light grey as he hid his face in his knees.

Victoire winced. Dumb Newt. "Want me to go rip his head off for you? I will, you know" She teased in a way that said she would like nothing more to do. "And, trust me, I know exactly how you feel on the whole moon thing. Sorta." She was a little suprised he hadn't tried to get rid of her, but she sat down. She smiled at his hair. Grey. She much prefered it when it was Turquiose, but she decided not to push her luck by mentioning it. "Got a date to the ball?" She asked, knowing full well that he did and knowing sorta who it was. "Or have the Fourth Years killed each other over you?"
Teddy smiled softly as she sat down next to him, his hair changing back to a blue-ish color. "Thanks Vikki. Have you heard from your Dad or Mum?" he asked, knowing that Victorie's parents usually checked in on the full moon, to see how the both of them were handling their wolfy genes.
"And I have indeed asked someone, the little buggers weren't pleased when they found out. I asked Rosie to accompany me this passed weekend." Teddy said, a bit more cheerier. He was quite proud of his accomplishment, but he was more nervous for tomorrow then he thought he should be. "What about yourself? I heard you hadn't found anyone, or at least said yes to anyone. You know, I don't think Zane has anyone to go with yet." he said, elbowing Rosie gently, a lopsided grin on his face.

With a shrug, Vikki sighed. "No, but I bet I'll have an owl flying in my window later tonight" The, incredibly randomly, she smiled widely. "I KNEW IT!" She declared, almost dancing in her happiness at being right. She knew he'd think she went insane, but she had been right. "Woo hoo! But I dunno about that whole Zane thing. But, if all else fails, and since I am dateless..." She trailed off, a thoughful look crossing her face.
Teddy boomed with laughter as just did her little dance. She could be such a child sometimes, it was hilarious. "I never thought you'd act like this." he laughed, guessing she had been pestering Rosie about who she was going with. Which, kind of worried him. Did she not want people to know that they were going together? Maybe it was just because it was Victorie, he always saw a little rivalry between of the both of them.
But he stopped laughing when she brought up Zane. "What's wrong with Zane?" Teddy inquired.

She grinned when he brought up Zane again. "Sensitive fellow, eh? Nothing is wrong with Zane. He's cute, and nice, and all that, but his sister- and if you tell anyone I told you this, I will hex you into the next country- scares me a bit. She eyed him, seriously. "I'm serious. Don't tell anyone!" She sighed and leaned back, looking into the sky. "I may ask him, though. He is a great guy"
Teddy laughed again, this time he covered his face and leaned back so he was lying in the grass, his hair turning a brighter blue color. "Kianthra? Are you serious? Sure she can throw a good few hexes but serious, the last thing you should be scared of from Zane is his sister. Crumpet and Quidditch addict is what you got to look out for." he laughed, wiping the tears away and sitting back up. "But you really should, 'cause I doubt the bloke has even asked anyone yet. Probably too busy with Quidditch." Teddy smiled, looking over at Victorie.

She rolled her eyes. "Exactly how did a question about your day turn into a matchmaking session?" Vikki asked, with a small smile. Oh crap! I suck at Quidditch. I wonder how that'll work out. Hmmm..." "I do have a soft spot for Crumpets, though" She snickered to herself, and looked at her friend, determined to change the subject. You and Rosie? Your getting her flowers or something, right?"
Teddy chuckled. "A matchmaking session? Not so much, just making sure my friends aren't losers with out dates." he grinned, playing with a few blades of grass. "Well, when I asked her, I gave her flowers. Do I need to get her more?" he asked, obviously clueless to the situation. Frankly, he never really thought about asking girls to dances, he was just Teddy. But Victorie, like him, knew that this one had to be special.

She smiled. If you say so, Teddy She thought to herself, not wanting to fight. "A corsage, maybe, but that's little cliche. A rose would do, though. White or Red" She chuckled. "Where in the world would you be without me? She asked, teasing again. "You don't want to get too sappy. Oh crap, I'm rambling again, aren't I? But that's all the advice I can give you, ither than make sure she doens't get murdered by your fan club. That might ruin your date.
He ran a hand through his hair. He had to take this all into consideration. "A red rose." he said finally, nodding his head slightly. "A single red rose for Rosie. It's perfect." he smiled and nodded again, looking at Victorie. "Thanks Vikki." Teddy smiled, thinking for a moment. "You know the Hufflepuff Noah? He ain't too shabby either. You should ask him." Teddy grinned, no wonder Rosie had so much fun playing matchmaker. It wasn't half bad to play Cupid.

Victoire sat for a moment, thinking it over in her head. "Noah? He is kinda cute" She said, thinking of the sixth year. "Well, you know what, Cupid Teddy? I think I will" She grinned and looked at the Whomping Willow. She snickered at it smacked a squirrel, sending it flying through the air to land safely on the soft grass. It scolded the tree, shaking it's tiny paw, before dashing off into the distance, probably to find some other tree.
Teddy grinned. "Well I'm glad I could of been a service to you Vikki. No wonder Rosie has so many people set up." he chuckled, leaning back in the grass, his hands holding his head. The fact the Newton was a totally idiot had flew his mind, he felt perfectly happy again. He could feel his hair return to it's turquoise color. "Thanks, by the way." he said, closing his eyes.
