James laughed and said "yeah she is very good and getting you to do anything isn't she?" He nodded about the letters and got up to start walking to the commen room to get some paper. He had a free lesson now anyway so a trip to the owlery would be good "I bet they already know though." he said as he started walking to the castle with Teddy.

[Teddy Lupin]

"Probably, I know Harry wanted nothing to do with getting you in, but I'm sure him and Ron were pestering the council for days about this one." he grinned, placing his hands in his pocket and looking up at the castle. He wondered why it had taken James's letter so long to get here. Maybe they lost it or something, who knows. All he knew was that one of his best mates would be spending the next few months after school being tortured, oh sorry, trained to become an Auror, one of the most elite jobs at the Ministry.

James nodded "knowing then both I bet you are right." he said smiling broardly. Even passing Corliss on the way couldn't dampen his high spirits "I can't wait to tell Zane and Rosie and Lills." he said excitedly. He was so glad that he had been accepted, but he was even more glad that he could share the training with Teddy.

[Lily Potter]

Once again, Lily was wandering aimlessly around the grounds. She wasn't paying and bit of attention to where she was going until she heard her nickname. Lills. Well, her nickname James had given her. She didn't really like it, but she put up with it. The girl came back to the real world and looked around. She saw the Whomping Willow in the back ground and James and Teddy walking away from it. James looked happy, well, happier than normal. Lily smiled and ran in the direction of her brother.
When she caught up to them, she was partly out of breath. Not that out of breath, seeing as she liked to run, but she hadn't run in forever. She tapped on her older brother's shoulder. "What is it you can't wait to tell me Bubba?" she asked looking up at him. She pushed a stray red hair back as she waited. She noticed he held something in his hand, what it was she didn't know.

James span round at the sound of the nickname that Lilly gave him and smiled "Perfect timing as always Lills." he said. He held out the letter so that she could see the Auror training unit. Got my reply. And both of us are accepted!" he said pointing to himself and Teddy.

[Lily Potter]

Lily smiled. "Ya, its like I plan to be here at the exact time you need me." she said, putting her hands on her hips. She turned her head to the side as James held out the parchment. She gave him a questioning look. As he started explaining the he and Teddy had been accepted she gave them a huge grin. She attached herself to James. "I am so proud of you!" she said, holding onto him for a minuet before letting go and hugging Ted. "I knew you too would make it!" she said, stepping back and looking at them.

James smiled at her and hugged her back "I was starting to worry cos Ted's reply came really early, but I am so happy right now. I can't wait to tell Dad the good news. He probably knows anyway." he said babbling again. He always did that when he was excited.

He looked over to Teddy still really thrilled that he was going into the training with his 'cousin/brother' and best friend. He was probably closest to Teddy than the others, even though he knew that Teddy was closer to Rosie.

[Lily Potter]

She looked up at James. "Well, go ahead and tell Dad, but promise you will tell him and Mum I said 'hi' and I love them. Promise?" she said holding out her pinkie. She liked watching James totally freak over good news. It was quite entertaining, to say the least.

James smiled and linked his pinkie with hers "deal." he said and he gave her a hug and walked away towards the owlery with Teddy.

He realised that he didn't know what Zane wanted to do after he left school. He asked "Hey Ted? Do you know what Zane wants to do after leaving Hogwarts?"

[Teddy Lupin]

Ted laughed as his 'little sister congratulated him. "Thanks Lil." he said, returning her hug. The thought of becoming a Auror like his Mum was exhilarating, especially now that James was going be there for the brutal training as well. He had heard some things from Harry, and he knew training would no be a easy task. As James asked about Zane, Ted shrugged. "I think he said he wanted to try for a Seeker position on a Quidditch Team. That'd be kinda cool." Ted said.

James smiled and said "Why am I not surprised?" He said to Teddy. He wished that he could find Rosie and Zane soon to tell them the good news. They both walked up the stairs and towards the respective classrooms. "How hard do you think the training it going to be?" he asked Teddy knowing that dad had already told him to expect the training to be really hard.

[Teddy Lupin]

Teddy chuckled. "It's going to be hell. Literally, I won't be surprised if we end up dying by the end of it." Ted said shaking his head. he looked up at the ceiling as he shoved his hands in his pockets. He wouldn't be able to see anyone for a whole year while they undertook training. He wondered, if he went out with Rosie, if she'd wait for him, if they lasted that long. He shook his head out of his thoughts and looked at James. "It's going to be brutal."

James sighed and said "Well I guess we have a hard year ahead of us where we can't slack off and copy off other people. At least you will ace conceilment and disguise." He put his hands in his pockets too. "I don't know if I have any chance of aceing anything in the training. What if I fail the training?" He started to get worried as the initial novelty of getting accepted was wearing off.

[Teddy Lupin]

Ted rolled his eyes. "Of course I'll ace that. That is my specialty of course. Thank you Mother!" he laughed as his hair changed between black, red, blond, green, magenta and then back to it's turquoise color, earning a few giggles from passing girls. He rolled his eyes and continued down the hall with James. "You aren't going to fail training. You'll do fine! You the son of Harry Potter!" Ted told him encouragingly.

James smiled slightly at the hair changing and said "Yeah I know but that won't work for me because dad won't help me with training. You know what he's like 'if you want to succeed you need to do it on your own without help so when you achieve your goal you can appreciate it more' I mean I am good a duelling but not brilliant like you are." he suddenly felt really nervous about the training and was more convinced that he wouldn't pass the training.
