Ted rolled his eyes. "I didn't mean it like that James. Of course Harry isn't going to help. But your his son, and like father like son right? Lucky for me my Dad taught yours." he said winking. He realized that he had mention his mother and father in a matter of a few minutes, and the pain that usually came when he thought about them wasn't there. He didn't know if he should be happy or guilty, so for now, he felt happy about it.

James smiled feeling more positive "Thanks Teddy." he said and then realised that Teddy had talked about his parents without getting upset like he normally did and smiled at this. "Well I guess we will have to wait till the training to see what we are good at."
She'd been up in the owlrey, minding her own business, waiting for her owl, Hokey-Pokey, to wake up so she could send a letter to her parents with him. She didn't want to wake the poor barred owl up, as he'd had a rather tough time the previous day, carrying a huge box of chocolates her grandmother had made for her. However, as she was staring absent-mindedly out the window, she spotted a grey speck among the clouds dotting the horizon. As it drew closer, she could make out the letters SM branded onto the chest of the owl. Her heart skipped a beat.
When the owl landed in front of her and held out its leg, she couldn't believe her eyes. Tied to its leg was a letter addressed to Miss Rose Weasley from St. Mungo's. She grinned, ripping the letter open and reading the following words, written in a curly, well-mannered hand on crisp white stationary:
To Miss Rose Weasley: We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into St. Mungo's School for Practicing Healers. It will be a great pleasure to see you in the fall...
However, that's as far as she got before she screamed, so delighted by her triumph. After giving the owl an affectionate pat on the the head and an owl treat from the basin on the floor of the owlrey, she dashed out of the owlrey, her acceptance letter in hand, racing to find Teddy. He was the first one, of course, that she'd tell. He was her best friend, after all. Finally, she found him on the Grounds, sitting with James.
"TED!" she called, racing towards him, her short legs carrying her as fast as they could, "I GOT IN TO ST. MUNGO's SCHOOL!"

James smiled as he saw Rosie approaching. Yay I can tell her now He thought looking at her face. She was looking really excited about something. When he heard what she said he smiled broardly "Thats brilliant Rosie!" he said getting up and giving her a hug. "wow it seems that good news is catching today!" he said laughing looking at Teddy. "I have some news of my own." he said to Rosie.
Ted jumped as he heard his name called and mutter some things incoherent under his breathe, but before he could really get mad he saw Rosie running towards him and a smile grew on his face. As she announced she got into St. Mungo's he beamed and stood up running towards her and picking her up in the biggest bear hug he'd ever given her. "Rosie! Oh my God! I'm so proud of you!" he beamed, not ready to let go of her just yet. He twirled her around in a circle and found a few people starring at the two of them but he didn't care. After all, he and Rosie were famous for acting weird in public all the time.
Once he finally put her down he grabbed her hand and pulled her towards James. "James got news today too. Tell her James." he said to his friend, the smiled plaster on his face.

As Ted picked her up and swung her around, she thought about a few weeks before, when he'd told her about his acceptance into Auror Training. She'd started to worry then, about what they'd do when he couldn't talk to anyone outside the Aurors for a year. In fact, she didn't know how she was going to handle beind away from him for a whole year. They'd never even been apart for more than a month before. And THAT had been torture. "Thanks Ted," she whispered in his ear after she heard him telling her that he was proud.
Eventually, he put her down and she realized the amount of people that'd been watching the two of them. It was slightly embarrassing to have so many people looking at you, but Rosie didn't mind. She'd gotten used to it. And she supposed Teddy had to. With his hair and all, it wasn't as though people ignored him. When she heard about James' news, her face lit up, even brighter than before. "C'mon, tell my James."

James smiled and said "I also got a letter from auror training hq and I have been accepted into the training with Teddy." he said smiling at her. He knew that meant that both of them couldn't communicate with the outside world which is not the best but they would have to deal with it. He knew it would be harder with Rosie and Teddy as they were so close.
Ted grinned as she whispered in his ear. It made his smile grow, just hearing those two words. As James announced his acceptance Ted smiled at Rosie. "Isn't that great? Now I won't be alone in Auror training!' Ted laughed, sighing gently. It would be weird, not seeing Rosie until he was done his training, but of course he could send her letters.. right?

Rosie's face pulled into a wide smile when she heard the good news. "That's brilliant James," she exclaimed, pulling him into a hug before continuing, "Promise me you two'll behave. After all, you won't have me there, and THAT's gonna result in some trouble." She was worried about the two boys, now. They were so reckless. In fact, most of the boys she knew were reckless. For some reason, she felt as though she were the only level-headed one in the world.
Ted scoffed and shook his head. "Like I need to behave. I'll be looking out for Bambi here the entire time." Ted winked and nudged James playfully. Although James was the same age as him, Ted always felt like an older brother to James, probably because he was one of the eldest of their group, besides Zane. "Besides, I have matured over these past months, if you haven't noticed." Teddy said, sticking out his chest and place his hands, which were in fists, on his hips.

James scoffed too "We always behave when we are together." he said smiling. "We don't always need you to rectify problems you know." He wished that they would be able to see people outside for the year of their training but knew that that was impossible because of the intense training of the training. He sighed "Next year is going to be hell but if we pass then it will be well worth it. I can't wait to help fight against the new DE with dad if and when they strike." He was really proud to be following one path that his father took.
Rosie grinned. "Well Bambi and you had better behave," she told him, waggling her finger at them, "Or you'll face my wrath when you get out." Of course, she knew they'd have to behave. They were going to be Aurors after all, and thus, needed to stay in line, otherwise their Trainors would kick them out. But maybe that'd be a good thing. That was Rosie'd be able to see them sooner. But she didn't want their hopes and dreams to be crushed simply because she can't live without seeing the two of them mostly every day. "And anyways, you don't need to be an Auror to fight the Death Eaters."

James mocked cringing and said "I am so scared of your wrath Rosie. We better make sure we are on our best behaviour Ted." he said smirking towards Teddy. "And I know I don't have to be an Auror to fight against them but it helps, I will learn more duelling skills." he added to Rosie.
Ted chuckled. "Speak for yourself James. I'm actually terrified of the little Rosie here." he said, looking over and winking at her playfully. He wondered for a moment about extra training. Harry had told him for wizards with extra powers like himself, sometimes they gave him extra training so that he could hone his abilities against Dark Wizards. That would mean an extra year of training, meaning two years away from loved ones. Rosie and him have talked about ti before, and she had reassured him that he could do it, that'd he be back eventually, but the thought still frightened him.
Rosie smirked back at Teddy when he flashed her a wink. "As you right well should be," she answered, nodding once, "After all, I could whip both your skinny arses in a heartbeat." Her mind, too, had wandered to the possibility of extra training for Teddy. If he was away for two year she didn't know what she'd do. Well, she'd have her hands full becoming a full time Healer, but at nights and on weekends, she wouldn't have a single thing to fill her time. Perhaps she'd take up reading.
