Zane laughed as Teddy confessed his love for Rosie. Luckily he had drunk enough firewiskey to have a headache to remember in the morning, so Ted's remark about Lily didn't really sink in. "Well you see Ted," he said putting a hand on his friend's shoulder, "I already knows you loves Rosie, everyone in the whole world knows that." Another glass of firewhiskey as Ted went on to say that they needed to find girls. He smiled as Ted tried to tell James the name of a girl, "Ooo Zoeeeey Abercrombieee, I know her. She your type James?" He paused as Ted mentioned Lily. He looked at Ted, as if he was trying to understand what he was saying, "Lily? Lily your sister Lily?" he slurred turning to face James. "She don't like me, she think I'm craaaazy." Another glass of firewhiskey soon disappeared.
Ted laughed as he watched his friends begin to slur words. He didn't give a crap about James being protective over his sister anymore. Hell, Zane would probably be too pissed to remember any of this tomorrow. Hell, he knew he would. "I bets dat da people over in dat place dats cold don't know dat I love Rosie. Whats it called.. Canadia or someting?" He asked, downing another glass of fire whiskey. "Yeuh, dat Zoey missus. But I tinks me buddy Noah's a got ting for her sooooo you betters watch out Jamsie!" Ted said with a booming laugh refilling his glass but spill it in the process. He took off his sweater and cleaned it up with that before looking back at Zane. "Nu-uh. Mannnnnn she is soooooo in love wit you it's not fit. Like, I knows how it feels cause me and Rosie were da same before we gots together, she hates see yah with uder girls." Ted told him him, nodding his head up and down a good few times before he became dizzy. Once he came to he looked at the door and wondered out loud. "How pissed do you think Rosie be if I came to her like dis?" he asked his friends before laughing again.
ooc; Sorry if you don't understand some things but I only know how to be Newfie drunk, besides, we're hilarious when were loaded.

Rosie'd been looking for the guys for hours. After their encounter near the Whomping Willow, she'd had to go inside for a bit to write a letter to her parents, and when she'd returned to the angry tree, they'd been nowhere in sight. Naturally, she'd thought maybe they'd gone somewhere else in the school to celebrate, but once she'd checked practically all of their usual haunts, she realized that that was highly unlikely.
So, instead, she snuck out to the Wizarding Village of Hogsmeade, intending to search for them there, and if she didn't find them, would head back to the school. Of course, she hoped against hope that she'd find them here, because if she didn't then there would be a sleepless night ahead of her, for her to toss, turn, and worry away. In fact, she'd been worried all day, so much that she hadn't had any time to be cross at the three of them for deserting her and leaving her no clue as to where they would be. Naturally, though, she'd be angry the moment she found them, for all her angst would come rushing out at them at once.
However, after successfully checking all over the small town, she was forced to head back to the castle, thousands of worst case scenarios rushing through her worry-prone, motherly head. She tramped up to the Gryffindor Common Room, and upon entering, heard three familiar voices to her left. They'd been in the Boy's Dormitory this whole time.
Cursing lightly under her breath, she threw all caution and rules to the side and raced up the stairs to the dormitory, her feet making loud clashing noises as she went. Finally, reaching the top, she wrenched open the door to the Seventh Year's dormitory and commenced into hysterics as she saw the alcohol surrounding the boys.
"You bloody idiots!" she shouted at them, wrenching the bottle out of Ted's hand, tears welling in her eyes. "I've been looking all over the damn school for the three of you.. What on EARTH were you thinking, getting shitfaced like this?"

Ted head swung over, too quickly for his drunken head and the room spun around him. Once it settled he saw Rosie at the doorway and his smile widened into that crooked grin that only formed on his face when he saw her. "Rosieeeeeee! Guise! Look! It's da love of my liiiiiife!" he smiled getting up, not noticing the fact she had taken his drink from his hand. He then noticed how pissed she was and pointed to his friends. "They made me do it." he lied and looked at the faces of his friends amusingly before looking at Rosie, noticing the tears running down her face.
He immediately realized that they had been gone for awhile, and didn't tell Rosie where they were going. He immediately sobered up a minute and looked at her face with concern and worry. He knew how motherly Rosie was to her friends, and when the three of them just disappeared like that she was probably worried sick about them. "Rosie.. love..." he said, but knew he was in over his head now. She was not going to be pleased with him, no matter what he said now.
She wiped the tears from her face, even as more began to well up. Her bottle-green eyes looked up at Ted's massively tall form as she shook her head, disappointed in the way he was acting. "Jesus, Ted," she whispered, crossing her arms, "Why can't I trust for even a couple hours not to get yourself into trouble?" With this, she turned on her heel and made her way out of the guy's dormitory, ignoring the looks the guys around her gave. She knew practically all of them, and most of them looked worried that she was crying, but she simply made her way down the stairs and sat down in one of the plush armchairs by the fire, her face in her hands as she let out the stress of worry.

Ted sighed as she ran downstairs, the sobs escaping her voice as she ran down. He ran a hand through his hair and groaned. "Ahh crap." he sighed looking at his friends. "Sorry guys, but she will always come before any of you." he said, heading over to his trunk and digging deep down inside of it. He pulled out the hangover candies he had bought from Weasley Wizard Wheezes this summer after George convinced him to get them ("Come on Teddy, I'm sure they'll come in handy!"). He grabbed two darkish orange ones that would help him sober up and swallowed them whole, only being left with the feeling of a buzz now. Ahh, the magic of, well, magic. "Get mad at me later, but frankly, I have to go apologize." he told his friends before slamming the door behind him.
He headed down the stairs, hoping she hadn't headed up to her dorm yet. He was blessed to find her down, hands in her face by the fire. No one seemed to bother her, noting she was upset. With a small sigh he reached for his foot and pulled off her white sock, heading over to her. He knelt in front of her and quietly whispered "Hey." He began to wave the sock around and smiled sadly. "I come in peace."
She'd been wallowing a bit as she sat there, dozing a tad as well. The adreneline that had fueled her frantic search of the castle and her chaotic rampage on the Boy's Dormitory mere seconds ago was fading fast. Already her head was nodding a tad and all her mind could think of was her soft bunk bed up in the Girl's Dormitory across from her.
As her mind wandered, she coudln't help but try to let go of her anger at Ted. Sure, the others were involved too, but, no offence to them, she loved Teddy much more than she would ever love James or Zane and thus, she worried about him more. And got more angry and disappointed in him when he fell short of her motherly standards. So he'd been drinking. All guys did it, she knew. Most of the other seventh year girls did too. Rosie herself found the prospect disgusting and rather repulsive. But everyone did it, so why should she expect Teddy not to.
Just then, someone kneeled in front of her, and she even without seeing or hearing him, she knew it was Ted. It was just like him to follow her down the stairs, make sure she was okay; make sure the two of them were okay. For some reason, he could never let her stew in her own juices or be mad at him for long. Well, perhaps the being mad at him was her own problem. She couldn't really be angry for long periods of time anyways.
Pulling her hands away from her face for a moment, she laughed, "You drunk buffoon." It was just like him to make her laugh when she was supposed to be seething at him. However, the next moment, her hands were back over her face as she tried to hide the hint of a smile that was spreading across her face.

Ted smiled softly as she uncovered her eyes a laughed. It gave him hope, hope that she was ready to dump his sorry ass for getting loaded drunk even though he knew she wasn't a fan of it at all. Especially after the many times he had fallen down the stairs at the various weddings where Harry, Ron or George would give him some fire whiskey. It was just as much a tradition to get married at the Burrow if you were a Weasley as it was for Ted getting drunk at a wedding and falling down the stairs. Well, not so much anymore, after George's greatest invention, and the fact that since the beginning of the year, Ted had sworn of drinking. Until tonight of course.
As she covered her face again he shook his head. He dropped the sock and his hands moved to hers. "Don't block that pretty face from me, please." he pleaded with her, realizing to her he probably looked like a wreck right now, but he didn't care about his looks right now, and he was sure as hell that Rosie didn't either. He could feel a few eyes on them, probably wondering why Rosie had come down from the Boy Dorm crying and why he looked like a wreck right now. One hand held both her hands while the other reached up and wiped a few traitorous tears from her cheeks. "I'm the world's worst boyfriend as of tonight." he sighed, shaking his head slightly and looked into her green eyes getting lost like he usually did.
He sighed and closed his eyes for a moment before he looked back at her face. "A lot had happened today Rosie. and not all that great. I know it's not an excuse to drink, but I just felt like I needed to drink away some of it. Stupid Newton got on my case again today about Dad being a werewolf and all and I just lost it, 'cause its around that time and all. I got so angry he told me to leave class and I headed down the the Whomping Willow like I always do." he breathed out and closed his eyes painfully for a moment and again looked up at Rosie.
"I know I've done some shitty things in the past Rosie, but this was by far the worst. Not telling you where we were was one thing, but when you find us, hours later, drunk up in the dormitory? No, that's just plain mean." he sighed, dropping her hands and then his to his side. He wasn't expecting her to forgive him anytime soon, but he needed to explain to her, to be at least forgiven for this mess that he cause ultimately.
God, she didn't want to forgive him that easily. She knew it was the right thing to do, but why could other people stand to keep their boyfriends hanging on a thread for forgiveness when she simply could not? She silently cursed her soft heart and let him remove her hands from her face, taking a moment to let her eyes wander around his perfect face for a moment before she arranged her features into a childish frown.
Finally, she broke under the strain of his pleading voice and eyes and she smiled her tired smile. "Look, I'm sorry you had a bad day. And I'm sorry I'm being such a bitch right about now." She laughed a little, strained by the guilt she was feeling for not forgiving him immediately. "And you're not. Honestly, you're the best guy in the entire world. You just have your off days." Her emerald green eyes filled with tears and she leaned forward to hug him tightly. "I'm just glad you're okay."
Lily wasn't the girl you'd think would be great at eavesdropping, but you would be mistaken if you thought she was a good little girl. Being the sneaky girl she was, she always had her handy dandy Extendable Ears on her. She had been so keen to hear the plan of her friends little celebration. Had she been a good girl, she would have left them be. But no. She was not a good little girl like everyone thought. So, she had stationed herself a ways away from the door of the seventh year boys dormitory, laying her Extendable Ears by the door. She was ever so quite as she heard the pouring of the many glasses of Firewhiskey. As hard as it was, seeing as she had a love of the alcohol her friends were drinking, she stayed put. Hearing Teddy getting tipsy, Lily began to wonder if she should have kept her secret to herself. Thinking of what would happen if Teddy let the secret slip, Lily wondered what it would be like between the two friends. Would it be weird and awkward? Sighing, she began to pay attention to the boys conversation again. "Lily? Lily your sister Lily? "She don't like me, she think I'm craaaazy." she heard Zane say, probably speaking of the secret her 'brother' had so told. "Nu-uh. Mannnnnn she is soooooo in love wit you it's not fit. Like, I knows how it feels cause me and Rosie were da same before we gots together, she hates see yah with uder girls." Teddy voice drifted to her ears, making her jaw drop. Tears welled up in her eyes. Taking another deep breath, Lily began to reel in the Extendable Ears when she saw Rosie walk in and storm out, Teddy at her heels. "Now he's done it!" she spat, tears still in her eyes. Standing up, the fourth year girl walked up to the room the drunk boys were in. She held her shoulders high, tears still glistening in her eyes. She pulled open the door, peeking in the room. "There better be some of that Firewhiskey for me." she said, walking over to her brother. She gave him a I-heard-everything look before holding her hand out for a glass. He better give me some of that. I'm really not in the mood for his over protectiveness. She looked over at Zane from the corner of her eyes. She knew she looked as if she was about to bust into ears. She wsa holding herself together thought. Well, she hopped she could keep holding herself together.
When Rosie leaned forward her wrapped his arms around her immediately, now the two of them sat on the floor hugging one another close. He ran his hands over her hair soothingly, just happy that he had been forgiven. "You aren't a bitch Rosie. Quite the opposite actually." he laughed with her, kissing the top of her head. "And it's my fault really, I gotta learn to put the whiskey down. I think I will now, after tonight." He said honestly, taking one arm and wrapping it underneath her legs and carrying her over to the armchair sitting her on his lap. He was so glad that she had accepted his apology already. But that's how he and Rosie worked. They never had fights that lasted longer the five minutes, because usually one of them would cave and beg for forgiveness, much like Ted had done tonight.
As she told him he was the best guy in the world he smiled her crooked smile for her and laughed. "Oh Rosie, you know just what to say to boost my ego." he chuckled. "And I'm glad your okay. I'm am really sorry about not telling you where we were going." he told her, touching his forehead off of her for what felt like hours before looking at the fire. He had passed Lily on the stairs, but never bother to ask what she was doing, He realized she must of be eavesdropping on them and he groaned, hitting his head off Rosie's shoulder. "I'm such a bad big brother." he groaned.

The drunken mess that was Zane held tightly onto the glass of firewhiskey, watching the liquid make small swirls in the bottom of the glass. He tried to focus in on what Ted was saying, something about Zoey and then something else about Lily. "Nooo way Teds, you gots it wrong this time. She like that Ander guy." He paused again, finishing off the rest of the firewhiskey and shuddering slightly as he reached for the bottle once more before handing it back to Ted. "She would kill you Teds," he laughed just before the door swung open and in walked Rosie.
Zane quickly stopped laughing when he saw the look on Rosie's face. He stared at the floor, feeling too guilty to meet her eyes. "We's in big trouble now," Zane whispered to James, still avoiding Rosie's eyes. Zane looked up as Ted tried to place the blame on him and James, he smiled slightly, sure he would take the blame, Rosie means everything to Ted, I don't want to ruin it for them. Just as he was about to own up to it being his idea, Rosie stormed out of the room, with Ted on her heels. "I thinks we've gone to far Jam," he said whilst searching for the discarded firewhiskey bottle. He offered the bottle to James before refilling his glass. "Hey Jam, the room's spinning again!" He laughed as he heard the door open once more.
"Heyy Lils!" Zane said trying to get to his feet, oblivious of the look between Lily and James. He stumbled across the room, barely missing the fire, before handing her a glass. He managed to pour her a glass, without spilling any, which was definitely an achievement for someone as drunk as Zane at that present moment in time. "And before you's say anything, I am not smashed." Zane laughed as he returned to his seat, nearly tripping over a pair of discarded slippers. "Where's you been all day then Lils?" Zane said with a smile looking up at the Gryffindor who they had been previously talking about.
Lily looked at Zane, thinking about the comment of Ander being the one she liked. Wrong.' She felt a tear roll down her cheek, her grip on her emotions slowly slipping away. Good, he is to wasted to remember this in the morning, or I hope he is too wasted....' She smiled, another tear falling over her cheek. She watched as Zane poured her a glass of Firewhiskey. She took it slowly from his hand, wondering if James would be angry. She had a terrible day, she deserved a few drinks. She took a long drink, the liquid hitting her hard. She took a deep breath. Smiling, she looked at James. "Y'know, this stuff is real good...." she said, shaking her head as she began to get dizzy. Lily wasn't one to drink much. Well, not one to drink much without geting drunk way to quickly. Lily quickly drained the rest of her drink and a few more glasses of the wonderful Firewhiskey. "Woah! I tinks dis... Dis stufffffss gooooooddss!" she smiled, a total non-Lily giggle escaping her lips. "Jamesy? Wats wrong wits you?" she asked, walking, very slowly, over to her brother. She wobbled quite a lot as she waited for her brother to reply. "OH! Zaners! I beens... Wha 'ave I be doin'? Um......" she said, smiling her signature her smile at Zane. She looked back at James. "Why don'ts you no invite meh to dis party?" she asked, tilting her head to the side.
It was a bit of a routine with the two of them, this sort of minor fighting. Other couples had huge fights every couple weeks where they wouldn't talk to each other for days on end. But Rosie and Ted couldn't exactly handle being away from each other that long, so instead, the two of them had little skirmishes every day. Neither of them ever got terribly angry with the other one, partially because Rosie didn't tend to be a grudge holding person and Teddy just couldn't get mad at her. So they were sort of the perfect couple.
"It's fine, really," she told him dismissively, flashing him a smile, when he apologized for not telling her where he was. She felt rather clingy in that moment, that she'd gotten angry at him for not telling her where he was. Perhaps she needed some sort of Anti-worrying medication. Right then and there, she vowed to ask her Uncle George at Christmas where to procure something of that sort. Or if her uncle could make her some. It would probably do the girl a world of good.

Ted smiled his lopsided grin for her as she told him it was fine, placing a soft kiss on her shoulder before he nuzzled his head into her neck. He still had the buzz from the fire whiskey even though he took the candies. George hadn't found the complete cure yet, but he had told Ted that he was sure he would have a breakthrough by the time Christmas came. He smiled a little wider, thinking about Christmas with Rosie. Sure he had spent most Christmas's with her and her enormous family, but he knew this year would be different. He wondered what everyone would say about them, if they would like the idea of them dating or not. Sure they had sent an owl to the Potter's, the Weasley's(Ron and Hermione) and Ted's Gran, so the news would have spread by now, but they would see every ones real reactions at Christmas.
He was pulled out of his thoughts as he heard a stumble upstairs and the a loud giggle. Eyes wide, he looked around the common room and there was no sign of the young Lily Potter. He looked frantically at Rosie and realized that he had to get up there as soon a possible. "Sorry Rosie, but I've gotta clean up the mess I've made upstairs." he said, lifting them both from the chair into a standing position. He was a little reluctant to leave Rosie, so instead he took her hand and led her back upstairs, feeling as though she wasn't ready to leave him yet either. When he walked through the door his eyes bulged out of his eyes. He noticed three things. One, Lily was loaded. Two, as was Zane. Three, both of them were too drunk to control their actions. "Lily!" he said shockingly, knowing he was taking a protective stance, and probably shouldn't be so hypocritical, but she was younger then any of them, and she seemed to have just as many glasses of whiskey as Zane.
