Rosie stayed with him for the time that he was gagging. But, the moment he was done, she stood from the boulder. She was tired, and any moment, Teddy would awaken and be furious at her for leaving the Common Room without him. But, she'd argue, he'd looked so peaceful, and he'd been rather grouchy lately, so he hadn't been a very desirable partner for her escapade out of the castle. She pulled out her wand again and Levitated Vikki off the ground, intending to Levitate her back to the Common Room. "You'd better get back to your Common Room, Avery," she told him, holding her wand out in front of her like a conductor's baton, before adding with a tad of contempt in her voice, "And while you're at it, try and sort out your confused head about the sides issue."
Avery looked up as Rosie left his side. "No. Please, Rosie don't leave me...not when I'm like this. I wont make it back to the castle. I'm too weak. Don't..." Avery's voice trailed off, as he gagged once more. His vision blurred a little bit more, and he knew for a fact that there was no way he was going to make it back to the castle. He hoped that Rosie wouldn't leave him. He was practically begging her to stay. "Plus, we need to talk...rationally, and quietly? If you don't mind of course." Avery had a feeling they wouldn't be able to accomplish the quiet part, but he at least thought they would be able to talk. Avery looked into Rosie's eyes, his begging, and sad. He waited for Rosie to respond.
Rosie looked back at him, her eyes annoyed. "Don't give me that bull shit, Avery," she said, her lips pursed, but she stayed where she was, Vikki still Levitated above the ground. "Fine. Say what you need to say. And make it quick. Ted's waiting for me in the Common Room." The last part was partly true and partly not. But she knew Teddy would worry about her if she wasn't back before midnight.
"GOD! You see what you do to me! You know, not everything that happens to come out of my mouth is bull shit Rosie. You understand that? This time, it isn't bull shit, okay? Just believe me, that way we can talk. I also can't just spit it out! We just need to talk, Rosie. We need to figure this out. I want to figure it out. Don't you? I still want to be your friend, Rosie, I do. I'm not going to stop fighting for you to be my friend, either. I just wont Rosie. I wont give up on our friendship, unlike you. I will keep fighting for it. You remember what I said that day at the library? That I wanted to make a difference? I still do! It's just that this time there are slight differences. Just talk to me, Rosie...please." Avery said everything with truth, and no lie in them whatsoever. He just hoped Rosie would believe it.
Rosie sighed loudly, putting Vikki gently back on the ground before walking over to sit next to Avery on the boulder. "I haven't given up on us," she answered him truthfully, "But while you're with Malfoy and a Death Eater, it's not as though I can be friends with you. They KILL people, Avery. And they're gonna make you do it as well, pretty soon. And one of these days, I'll be the one who'd supposed to be killed. And then you'll regret the fact that you let them draw you in and force you to do so many things."
Avery shook his head, he had gotten use to the blur in his eyes now, and luckily he could still see Rosie. "Rosie, to tell you the truth, I don't want to join the DE. I don't, but I can't help it if I'm in love with a Death Eater. You should know how it feels to be in love. You can't live without that person can you? I know I can't. I also can't live without you though. There are two big things that make my life whole, Rosie. Corliss, and... you." Avery turned to look into Rosie's eyes. "Corliss accepted you as my friend, even thought she didn't like it at all. She accepted it, and she was trying to be nice to you, and Teddy in the Forest that one day. You know it too. You just don't want to admit it. Corliss, was trying to make me happy. She did, she made me happy, because she tried. She tried, Rosie, and I wish you would have tried." Avery spoke these words with sadness.
Rosie looked at him, incredulous. "What the bloody hell are you thinking, Avery?" she asked, as he mentioned that Corliss had been nice to her in the forest, "You expect me to be all chummy with her, and pretend she didn't curse the shit outta me? I'm forgiving, but not THAT forgiving! Jesus Christ, Avery! She can't win me over simply by putting on a fake smile and pretending to be nice to me. It won't work. She used an UNFORGIVABLE on one of your best friends, Avery, and still, you can't see past that paper thin mask she puts on whenever she's around you. Good Lord."

Victoire shook her head, in silence, as she regained consciousness. What the hell? She thought as she saw her cousin arguing with Bishop. If he had thought she was pissed before, he had better be ready for hell, now. Silently, she rolled over to the side, seemingly unnoticed as the two continued their argument. About Corliss, notheless. Goddammit, Rosie. I just got knocked out, and you two are arguing about Corliss? Well, she had to remain quiet, as she stuck up behind the obnoxious Slytherein, who was really irritating her.
You know, not everything that happens to come out of my mouth is bull shit Rosie.
Even that's bullshit! Seriously, who was this kid? The two rattled on, ignoring the Vikki in motion. She jumped to her feet, with a muffled 'umph', which still went unnoticed, despite her worries.
She used an UNFORGIVABLE on one of your best friends, Avery, and still, you can't see past that paper thin mask she puts on whenever she's around you. Good Lord."
God blessed, let it end! Irritated, she curled her hand into a fist, and locked her elbow. This was going to hurt, and she hoped it hurt bad. She swung forward, and hit Bishop with a solid, "Thunk!" She smiled as the blow forced him to his knees, and cracked her knuckles. "Spell me, again, Bishop, and I swear to the God above I'll hit you where it hurts, next time." She rolled her eyes at her cousin, ignoring the response that was bound to come. "Oh, shut up, Rosie. You would have d- actually, no I doubt you would have done that, but he deserved it, and don't pretend he didn't."
Nikita was walking down to the Black Lake, when she heard voices, and a crackling noise. What the hell? She thought to herself curiously. She turned back, going towards the voices. Nikita squinted her eyes, to try to see who was talking. She saw, figures, but couldn't make them out. She kept walking toward them though. There were three figures. Once Nikita, was close enough to tell who the figures were, she started running, getting very excited. She could feel her wand laying against her hip. She decided it would be best to grab it. She took it out of her jeans front pocket, and twisted it in her hand. She noticed that Avery was on his knees, and that made her furious. "What the hell is going on here?" Nikita asked the three firmly, not caring who answered her, as long as someone did.

The Whomping Willow wasn't a place Corliss visited often. She felt the need to come down there tonight. Something about it made her want to be outside. She smiled as she saw Nikita walking ahead of her. No wonder she hadn't seen her in the Common Room. When her friend began to run, pulling her wand out, Corliss picked up her pace. She already hand her wand out. She was there in a few seconds. She heard her friend ask what was going on, but all she saw was the Weasley punch her boyfriend. Her anger rose, near the boiling point. "What, Happened. To. Him?" she asked, taking to mind in who was there. She rushed straight to Avery, bending downnext to him. She put her hand on her back. "Avery. Are you ok?" she asked, her voice soft and low.

"Speak of the Devil" Victoire snapped, violently, shoving Corliss away. "Who invited you, Malfoy? She wasn't a happy camper. All she had wanted was a little alone time to get through the Full Moon in as much peace as she could manage. But, no! This had to happen. First Avery, and then his little fan club. "I had it all under control" She growled at Rosie, for no reason other than she was down right angry. "Then you and this...Fan club had to show up! No, "Are you okay, Vikki?" or anything! She was on a roll, and she wanted tp unch something else, though she had her wand in hand, and was ready to use it. "You, too, Snape. Get out of here!"
Rosie rolled her eyes at her cousin, giving her a grin. Thank God Vikki'd been there, or Rosie would've killed the boy by now. Of course, then the entrance of two unwelcome Slytherins forced Rosie to pull her wand out of the inside pocket of her fuzzy robe. "Jesus Christ," she said, annoyed and tired, her wand focused on Corliss, "The calvary has arrived. And just in time. I was about to knock out your boyfriend, Malfoy. Luckily, Vikki here did it for me." Then she laughed at her cousin good-naturedly before threatening her playfully in the same manner. "And you'd better watch your mouth, dear cousin. You can't be forgetting who saved your ass on the staircase that day with Kianthra."

Nikita flared up the moment Victoire pushed Corliss. "Oh, hell no." Nikita walked up to Victoire, and shoved her back with all her might. Victoire nearly fell to the ground, but Nikita hadn't pushed her hard enough. Nikita put her hand out to Avery, and pulled him up quickly, before looking back at Victoire. "Watch my back Corliss." Nikita ordered. The Weasley's were outnumbered, and that fact made Niki, extremely happy. Nikita glared at Victoire, evil showing in her eyes, and expression.
Avery took Niki's hand gratefully, as she pulled him up. He looked over at Corliss, and said softly, "I'm fine, don't worry about me." Avery walked over to Corliss' side. Then he gave Vikki, an ungly look, because she had pushed her. Nikita seemed to be doing all of the talking though. He looked back at Rosie, his eyes not showing anything whatsoever.

Corliss wasn't paying attention when Vikki pushed her, She fell backwards, falling to her butt. She sighed. "You see, if your going to hurt me, you need to do a better job. Oh, and I wouldn't try that hen my friends were around. What did I do to you anyways? All I did was come out here and go to my boyfriends side. Is that crime?" she said as Niki pushed the Weasley. She smirked. Avery walked over to her as she stood. She gave him a tight nod. She turned so she was facing Rosie. "I don't mean any harm. Just don't attack again." she muttered.
