The darkness was nearly blinding, and, except for the constant movement of the willow, all was quiet. The stars were out, dotting the sky with white brilliance, and making the lone figure even more lonely. It would have been a perfect night, except for the full moon. And the fact Victoire was part werewolf. The blonde girl sighed in frustration as a pounding headache interrupted her thoughts. As always, she wondered how Teddy got through this... It never seemed to end. It wasn't even getting any better. The wind picked up, blowing her hair across her face, and making her think about how much of a veela she must look like. What a combo. Veela and Werewolf? It was just too much to handle nowadays, especially witht he war between the NO and DE. Tired of pacing, Victoire sat down, just out of reach of the tree, though she could have used the spell her uncle Harry had taught her to freeze it, she figured she'd let the tree alone.
Avery walked down towards the Whomping Willow. He had a horrible day today, and he just wanted to get away from everyone. Including his girlfriend Corliss. She hadn't been happy that he wanted to be alone, but she understood. Avery started running towards the moving tree, eager to get there. To get away from the castle. Avery immediately stopped running, and squinted trying to figure out what he had seen moving. He ran a little closer towards the moving object, but still couldn't tell what it was... or who it was. He ran even closer hoping not to be seen.

A rustle. Maybe it was the wind, maybe not. Anyway, Victoire was so used to her instincts being correct, she looked over her shoulder, confused. A blur, but that could have been nothing. Who would be insane enough to come here at this hour? Teddy, because he too had to suffer, and Zane and James. Rosie, maybe, but wasn't Ted doing his whole, "Don't go anywhere alone, because a Death Eater will get you!" song and dance? Still... "Ted? Is that you?" She called out, feeling like an eight year old, afraid of the dark. She wasn't really scared, just on her guard, after the incident with Kianthra. "Zane? James?" She really didn't think they'd be here, unless Ted was here as well. Good lord, does the world revolve around Teddy Lupin? She wonder in slight annoyance. He might as well be the second Harry Potter. She chuckled to herself, but kept her eye on where she assumed the blurr must have gone.
Avery kept running towards the object he saw moving. Then he heard the object call for some Gryffindors he knew. He kept running though, curious to see who it was. He was finally able to make out the object.. it was a person. He still couldn't see who though. He ran even more, and noticed that it was Victoire. He stopped in his tracks and stared at her staring at him.

Victoire blinked once. Twice. Three times. What was Bishop doing here? And why was he staring at her? So, it wasn't any of her fellow Gryffins, but a Snake. And she really wasn't in the mood for fighting. Not right nowe, though she'd bet her wand that she could rip him apart with her bare hands if he pushed her to it. "Uh...hi" She said, slightly awkwardly. "It's rude to stare, or doesn't that apply to a Weasley?" She snapped, rather more rude than she had intended. Well, staring makes me nervous. It's like they are just thinking of ways to insult me. She tried reasoning, internally.
Avery shrugged his shoulders not sure what to say. He did ask her a question though, "What are you doing out here?" He asked politely. "Oh, and hi." He replied to her first statement. He looked away from Victoire and looked at the gigantic moving tree. He wished he could throw Teddy in that tree, and Teddy would never come back down. He wasn't a big fan of Teddy in case you didn't happen to notice.

"Waiting for my Werwolf to carry me away" She said in an utterly sarcastic way. Who was he to ask her what she was doing down her. Her and her near-cousin were down here every full moon. She was actually wondering where he was. "And, I think the question is, what are you doing down here? But if you must know, it's a nice night, and I wanted out of the common room. Zane's studying, James is probably out with some girl, and I'm rather sick of Ted and Rosie making out. " This wasn't a good night for her, and she couldn't stand Slythereins when she was in a right state of mind.
Avery took a step back, when he heard about Vikki waiting for her inner Werewolf to come out. He had picked a bad night to go out. he should have looked at the moon. He cursed at himself quietly looking at the moon. "Will you HURT me?" Avery asked cautiously. He wasn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed when it came to things about werewolfs. He raised one eyebrow, and cocked his head to the size.

For the first time in a while, Victoire gave a wide smile. "I'm not a full wolf, Bishop. I ain't gonna hurt no one." She replied, with a faint, almost cocky smile. "You never answered my question" She said, watching him, suspiciously "What are you doing down here?"
Avery sighed, as he heard Vikki say that she wasn't going to hurt him. He walked over to her, and sat down beside her. He put his head in his hands, and sighed again. Then he replied to her quietly, "God, you don't even want to know." He lifted his head up, and turned his head to look at Vikki. She really didn't want to know. He just had a really bad day, and he didn't want to relive it by telling the story. He shrugged his shoulders at her, and then looked up at the sky.

"M'kay. Whatev." She shrugged, seeing he really didn't wanna talk. She frowned, as she looked up into the sky, and at the full moon. "You're not a Death Eater, are you?" She asked, indifferently. She honestly didn't care, right now. She'd care later, just not now.
Avery thought about Corliss, and Rosie. He was being torn apart by them. He wanted to be with Corliss for the rest of his life, but he wanted to remain friends with Rosie. Rosie wanted him to join the NO, while Corliss wanted him to join the DE. Avery felt so overwhelmed every single day. He answered Vikki cautiously, "No, I'm not. Everyone wants me to though. Well, except maybe the NO members." Avery turned his head to look at Vikki, as he chuckled. He turned his head back towards the stars, as he waited patiently for a response.

"Shocker" She expected him, just like all of the other Slythereins -even her own cousin! Nikita was crazy- who were part of the DE. "Lemme guess. Rosie and Ted are pulling you one direction and the others" She said the word without even trying to supress the loathing "Are pulling you the other" She knew she was right, but waited, anyway.
Avery sucked in the cold night air, and closed his eyes. She was sooo right. "Yeah, pretty much. I hate it." Avery turned to look at Vikki, his eyes soft. "I wish that I could just NOT be apart of it, but I am." Avery looked back up at the sky counting the small stars.

Victoire shrugged. "Good luck with that, Bishop" She replied, not wanting to suggest anything. She didn't want someone else's problems along with her own. It was a little chilly, but she didn't notice, though an involuntary shiver ran through her. She hoped he wouldn't notice. "Well, then why were you staring at me? Don't I match up to the...interesting descriptions all of your Snakes give me?" She asked, jumping right to her next question in her odd interrogation.
